In order to ensure successful innovative development of Latvian mechanical engineering and metalworking industry, quality of human resources is one of the important task. First of all, it is necessary to name health of people working in the industry. In Latvia a number of occupational diseases increased, with the greatest growth taking place in manufacturing industry, integral part of which is the engineering and metalworking industry. The problem of accidents at work is also urgent, the number of diseases caused by growing stress. Taking into consideration difficult demographic situation in Latvia and the existing problems in labor market, this situation requires special attention. In the article, the author substantiates the importance and prospects of the development of health tourism as an important factor in maintaining the health and working ability of workers in engineering industry.

The quality of processed workpieces is affected directly by the precision of the linear stage. Therefore, the linear displacement calibration of machine tools must be implemented before delivery and after employment for a period of time. How to perform a precise calibration with high inspection efficiency is a critical issue in the precision mechanical engineering industry. In this study, the self-developed system integrated by the measurement module based on the common path Fabry–Pérot interferometer for linear displacement and the auto-alignment module for optical axes was proposed to realize the automatic linear displacement calibration of the linear stages. The measurement performance of the developed structure was verified experimentally. With the auto-alignment module, the cosine error was reduced to 0.36 nm and the entire procedure accomplished within 75 s without the limitation of the perceived resolution of the human eye, operational experience, and the risk of misalignment and broken cable. According to the comparison of experimental results for the linear displacement, the repeatability of the proposed measurement module was less than 0.171 μm. After the compensation procedure according to the linear displacement calibration, the systematic positional deviation, repeatability, and accuracy of the linear axis could be improved to 4 μm, 1 μm, and 5 μm respectively. Hence, the calibration efficiency can be improved by 80% with the proposed compact system, which is beneficial for the linear displacement calibration of machine tools in the precision mechanical engineering industry.

Abstract: In this era of globalization, teachers are very dominant in self-actualizing to educate the nation in facing the challenges and competition in the world, so that they are required to improve their professionalism in dealing with any existing problems. Solutions to answer the problems faced by teachers arise in the following questions: Who is the teacher? What is the role of the teacher both as a teacher and in relation to their students? How to manage the quality of the teaching and learning process on children's self-development in the context of interest in learning? The answers are: (1) a teacher is a professional educator who educates, teaches a science, guides, trains, provides assessments, and evaluates students. (2) the role of the teacher to work holistically. The teacher not only carries out his duties as a teacher, but becomes an example and a companion to his students. (3) the teacher must be able to manage the class very well so that in every learning process, children can be interested and respond when a teacher delivers a material. Abstrak: Dalam era globalisasi ini guru sangatlah dominan di dalam mengaktualisasi diri untuk mencerdaskan bangsa dalam menghadapi tantangan dan persaingan dunia, sehingga dituntut untuk meningkatkan profesionalnya dalam menangani setiap masalah yang ada. Solusi untuk menjawab persoalan-persoalan yang di hadapi oleh guru muncul dalam pertanyaan sebagai berikut: Siapakah guru itu? Apakah peranan guru baik sebagai guru dan berhubungan dengan anak didiknya? Bagaimanakah mengelola kualitas proses belajar mengajar terhadap pengembangan diri anak dalam konteks minat belajar?  Jawabnya adalah: (1) guru adalah seorang tenaga pendidik profesional yang mendidik, mengajarkan suatu ilmu, membimbing, melatih, memberikan penilaian, serta melakukan evaluasi kepada peserta didik.  (2) peranan guru bekerja secara holistik. Guru tidak saja menjalankan tugasnya sebagai seorang pengajar, tetapi menjadi teladan dan teman bergaul bagi para muridnya. (3) guru harus dapat mengelola kelas dengan sangat baik sehingga dalam setiap proses pembelajaran, anak dapat tertarik dan meresponi ketika seorang guru menyampaikan sebuah materi.

This study aims to: (1) discover a collaborative skills-based learning model for practical work invocational education programs which can improve the quality of learning outcomes; (2) determine the effect ofthe application of collaborative skills-based learning model for practical work towards the students’ attitude andlearning outcome. This R&D and experiments research was carried out in manufacturing industry of machiningfield in Yogyakarta, and in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta StateUniversity. The population being studied was all of Diploma students of Mechanical Engineering study programwho enrolled in Complex Machining Processes course. Research sample of 33 students, divided in two groups,were determined by purposive sampling technique. The experiment was carried out by posttest-only controldesign. Content validation was done by expert judgment and items reliability with Alpha Cronbach formula andKR-20. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-test, with significance level of 0.05. The resultsshow that: (1) The collaborative skills-based learning model for practical work is suitable to be implemented inorder to improve the quality of learning outcomes in practical work; (2) The students’ attitude and learningachievement of the model class is better, or higher, than the controlled class.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menemukan model pembelajaran praktik berbasis collaborative skillpada program pendidikan vokasi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar; (2) mengetahui pengaruhpenerapan model pembelajaran praktik berbasis collaborative skill terhadap sikap dan prestasi belajarmahasiswa. Penelitian R&D dan eksperimen ini dilaksanakan di industri manufaktur bidang pemesinan diwilayah DIY dan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT-UNY. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswaprogram studi D3 Teknik Mesin FT-UNY yang melaksanakan kuliah Proses Pemesinan Kompleks. Pemilihansampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Eksperimen dilaksanakan dengan rancangan posttest-onlycontrol design. Validasi isi dilakukan dengan expert judgement dan reliabilitas butir dengan formula AlphaCronbach dan KR-20. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan uji-t, taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran praktik berbasis collaborative skill cocok digunakan untukmeningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar praktik; (2) Sikap dan prestasi belajar praktik mahasiswa pada kelas modellebih baik atau lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol.

In the light of globalization processes at the present stage of development of the Ukrainian economy, domestic enterprises of the machine-building industry faced the problem of increasing their competitiveness in the world market, which in turn contributed to the Activation of their innovative activities. The need of implement measures to increase the level of investment attractiveness of Ukrainian enterprises, determines the feasibility of the analysis of the current state of the machine-building industry. The aim of study is to investigate the role of machine-building industry production in total industrial complex, the research status, the challenges and to identify priorities for further development of engineering in Ukraine that are taking into account the requirements of the Modern market.  Research object. The object of the research is the machine-building industry of Ukraine and its condition in the conditions of world globalization. Methods. Research methods that were used in the process of writing the article - providing for the application of General scientific and empirical approaches to economic science – were based on a systematic approach. The appliance of the dialectical method allows us to highlight the features of modern innovation processes, furthermore, to explore the problems of creating an investment-attractive environment in the machine-building industry of Ukraine.  The traditional method is applied in the study of previous experience chronology of events and facts in the development of the economy of Ukraine.  General scientific systematical and logical methods were also used to obtain research conclusions.  The basis of the information in this paper is on the researches consisted of monographs, scientific articles of domestic, foreign articles, legal activities of the enterprises and data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. The hypothesis of the study. Continuous monitoring of the current state of machine building in Ukraine and implementation of the results of its practical analysis will improve the investment attractiveness of the industry.  Presentation of the main material. In this scientific article the role of mechanical Engineering as the leading industry of economy of Ukraine is investigated.  Based on statistical data, the dynamics of the main indicators of development of the machine-building industry of Ukraine for 2010-2018 was analyzed. Significant problems of the studied area are Identified, priorities for further development are determined.  The originality and practical significance of this study is to investigate deeply the main problems of investment attractiveness of the engineering industry.  also this study’s main provisions can serve as a scientific basis for the development of machine-building enterprises, in the context of the study of the problems of increasing the investment attractiveness of the industry.  Conclusions of the study. Since Mechanical Engineering is one of the leading industries, it is an indicator of the technical level of the country.  Lack of financial resources at the enterprises through problems such as low speed potential restoration of production in industry were solved. This leaded to braking of the General development of mechanical engineering of Ukraine.  In challenging situations of financial and economic activity, the enterprises of the machine-building industry need support from the State, in particular that needs a part of tax incentives for large-scale projects to modernize production facilities and Provide domestic producers with state orders.  According to the results of the conducted research it can be argued that the main stimulus for the realization of the industry’s potential is the lack of material resources.  Therefore, the solution for problems of increasing the investment attractiveness of industry will insure the further development of machine-building complex of Ukraine.


Small and medium-sized enterprises in the modern market economy play the role of one of the main sectors that determine the vector and rates of economic growth of the gross domestic product. All developed countries strongly support the small and medium-sized business sector, since the structure and quality of GDP directly depends on it. This article examines the impact of small and medium-sized businesses on the economy of the Russian Federation and the Slovak Republic. The article compares the analysis and identifies the necessary conditions for starting business in the countries under consideration. The authors provide statistical data on the structure of small and medium-sized businesses identifies problems that slow down the development of small businesses and suggests ways to solve existing problems in this sector of the economy.

The disparity between the contribution of the mechanical engineering industry to the formation and development of the national economy and its potential determines the need to study the specifics of the activity and develop a set of measures aimed at a breakthrough, the basis of which should be the modernization of the complex and, aimed at sustainable development, the improvement of management. Mechanical engineering enterprises in the Irkutsk region form one of the key sectors of the economy. The degree of their development directly affects the stable functioning of such industries as logging, woodworking, energy, petrochemicals, metallurgy, as well as the quality of life of the region's population. The article presents a research and assessment of the state, features, and trends in the development of enterprises of the national mechanical engineering complex located in Irkutsk region. The problems and factors hindering the development of regional mechanical engineering production are identified. The article presents the justified directions of its development prospects obtained using the monographic method, the method of expert assessments, analysis and synthesis. Possible ways to improve the efficiency of industrial enterprises are proposed. These studies can serve as a basis for developing a rational industrial policy in relation to the mechanical engineering industry of the Irkutsk region and improving the efficiency of the mechanical engineering complex. A purposeful policy for the development of the machine-building industry will make it possible to create conditions for solving issues of strategic innovative development.

The objective of the present study is an investigation of the objective and subjective factors of life quality. Researchers and political leaders show increasing interest in the question: on what grounds do people judge their quality of life, what satisfies or makes them happy? Do we subconsciously make some kinds of mathematical calculations weighing our results achieved in certain areas of life to assess how we are getting on? Or rather we use one “indicator” (e.g. money, number of friends, professional recognition) and we assess our situation accordingly? These issues necessarily emerge when it comes to the consideration of the quality of life. Among factors determining life satisfaction, earnings, employment, health and relationships play significant roles. Therefore, on the leading edge of this research are primarily the cognitive factors of life quality, i.e. external factors influencing satisfaction. The present study also seeks to identify the role of health tourism in the assessment of the quality of life. Questionnaires were completed in one of the most popular tourist destinations of Hajdú-Bihar County. The 805 local respondents expressed their views primarily about factors determining their well-being and about the impacts of the dominant presence of health tourism on their lives.

Tiered supervision that supports improving the quality of nursing services in the field of nursing at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital has not been carried out in a structured and documented manner. Baitul Izzah 1 room as a disease treatment room in class III, the head of the room has not yet supervised the Person in Charge of Care (PPJA) and so on PPJA to the Associate Nurse (PP). The supervision that has been carried out so far is only to ask directly about existing problems to the head of the room and directly observe the activities of implementing nursing care by PPJA and PP. Tiered supervision does not go well, because there are no references and standards for its implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine Implementation of The Tiered Supervision as a Supervision Function. It was found that the implementation of tiered supervision instruments improved the performance of the head of the room, PPJA and PP, then the patient's medical record document increases in completeness chargingespecially the patient's Islamic education document. In conclusion, tiered supervision instruments are very helpful in the implementation of the supervisory function as well as monitoring and evaluation in nursing management in the implementation of nursing care in the inpatient room. The recommendation for the role of the nursing field that is most important in controlling the quality of nursing care is to actively involve staff to jointly ensure the continuity of the implementation of tiered nursing supervision.
