In the light of globalization processes at the present stage of development of the Ukrainian economy, domestic enterprises of the machine-building industry faced the problem of increasing their competitiveness in the world market, which in turn contributed to the Activation of their innovative activities. The need of implement measures to increase the level of investment attractiveness of Ukrainian enterprises, determines the feasibility of the analysis of the current state of the machine-building industry. The aim of study is to investigate the role of machine-building industry production in total industrial complex, the research status, the challenges and to identify priorities for further development of engineering in Ukraine that are taking into account the requirements of the Modern market.  Research object. The object of the research is the machine-building industry of Ukraine and its condition in the conditions of world globalization. Methods. Research methods that were used in the process of writing the article - providing for the application of General scientific and empirical approaches to economic science – were based on a systematic approach. The appliance of the dialectical method allows us to highlight the features of modern innovation processes, furthermore, to explore the problems of creating an investment-attractive environment in the machine-building industry of Ukraine.  The traditional method is applied in the study of previous experience chronology of events and facts in the development of the economy of Ukraine.  General scientific systematical and logical methods were also used to obtain research conclusions.  The basis of the information in this paper is on the researches consisted of monographs, scientific articles of domestic, foreign articles, legal activities of the enterprises and data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. The hypothesis of the study. Continuous monitoring of the current state of machine building in Ukraine and implementation of the results of its practical analysis will improve the investment attractiveness of the industry.  Presentation of the main material. In this scientific article the role of mechanical Engineering as the leading industry of economy of Ukraine is investigated.  Based on statistical data, the dynamics of the main indicators of development of the machine-building industry of Ukraine for 2010-2018 was analyzed. Significant problems of the studied area are Identified, priorities for further development are determined.  The originality and practical significance of this study is to investigate deeply the main problems of investment attractiveness of the engineering industry.  also this study’s main provisions can serve as a scientific basis for the development of machine-building enterprises, in the context of the study of the problems of increasing the investment attractiveness of the industry.  Conclusions of the study. Since Mechanical Engineering is one of the leading industries, it is an indicator of the technical level of the country.  Lack of financial resources at the enterprises through problems such as low speed potential restoration of production in industry were solved. This leaded to braking of the General development of mechanical engineering of Ukraine.  In challenging situations of financial and economic activity, the enterprises of the machine-building industry need support from the State, in particular that needs a part of tax incentives for large-scale projects to modernize production facilities and Provide domestic producers with state orders.  According to the results of the conducted research it can be argued that the main stimulus for the realization of the industry’s potential is the lack of material resources.  Therefore, the solution for problems of increasing the investment attractiveness of industry will insure the further development of machine-building complex of Ukraine.

Introduction. As the industrial sector is of key importance for the economy of Ukraine, the indicators of its functioning are the main factor in the social and economic development of the country. In particular, mechanical engineering is one of the basic sectors of Ukraine's economy and a strategically important sector that affects the development of technological potential and competitiveness of Ukraine's economy as a whole. The level of development of mechanical engineering is one of the main factors that allows to ensure sustainable development of the Ukrainian economy, the level of development of the country depends on its level and dynamics of development. Therefore, the study of the current state of the machine-building industry, the efficiency of machine-building enterprises, identification of current problems will identify tools for recovery and further sustainable development of machine-building enterprises as one of the key sectors of the national economy. Purpose. Analyze the state of Ukrainian machine building, identify the main trends and problems of the industrial complex in modern economic conditions and provide recommendations for their solution to ensure sustainable development of machine building enterprises and increase the level of economic potential of industry. Method (methodology). The research was conducted through the analysis and synthesis of data based on the evaluation of statistical data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (2010-2019) in order to study the current state of the machine-building industry of Ukraine; tabular and graphical methods for visual presentation of the material. Results. The study confirms the link between economic growth and industrial development. The peculiarities of the conditions of activity of machine - building enterprises are determined. The tendencies of the lag of the Ukrainian industry on level from the developed countries are revealed. The main factors of reduction of production volumes of machine - building branch are analyzed. The analysis of the level of innovative activity of machine - building enterprises is carried out. The main factors hindering innovation are identified. The existing level and structure of capital investments are analyzed. The main destabilizing problems of the machine-building industry in Ukraine are outlined. A conclusion is made and a number of measures aimed at creating conditions for sustainable development of the machine-building industry taking into account the potential and capabilities of machine-building enterprises are proposed.

The article discusses the priority directions of innovative development of the machine-building complex in Azerbaijan. Mechanical engineering as the most important branch of industry is an industry capable of ensuring sustainable and sustainable innovative development of the country's economy. However, in the era of globalization, this area has faced numerous problems. This can be explained by: a shortage of investments; outdated means of basic production; high competition in domestic and global markets; a shortage of qualified personnel, etc. All this makes it urgent to modernize and recreate the machine-building industry of Azerbaijan in accordance with the requirements of the time. Based on this necessity, the article examines the aspects of sustainable economic development of the machine-building industrial complex. The purpose of the article is to analyse the current state of development of Ukraine’s mechanical engineering, looking at export trends of mechanical engineering products across product groups and the main importing countries. The analysis indicates that Ukrainian exports of engineering products have declined significantly in recent years. The low export orientation of machine-building production is mainly due to the low level of innovation investment, as a result of which the technological development of Ukraine’s machine building industry not aligned with the requirements of the global market. The author indicates directions of machine-building production that can make the Ukrainian industry more competitive in the future arguing that thanks to the current production capacity and technological skills, availability of the labour force, research institutions, opportunities for international cooperation, Ukraine is well-positioned to increase the export potential of the mechanical engineering industry.

The article is devoted to the study of the problems of the development of the engineering industry in the conditions of the development of the neo-industrial economy of Russia. The relevance and importance of the development of the engineering industry as the basic industry for the development of the entire Russian economy is justified. A study of statistical data reflecting the current state of development of the engineering industry has been carried out. The article discusses the nature and main approaches to the integration of enterprises and organizations of mechanical engineering, introduces the concepts of «business continuity» and «business continuity management», offers recommendations for the implementation of a business continuity management procedure in mechanical engineering enterprises. According to the authors, integration refers to the process of strengthening production relations and economic relations, the organizational and economic merging of several components (components, parts) into a single whole, acquiring a higher quality than the arithmetic addition of parts. The limits of the integration processes of the organization are analyzed according to the three possible modern concepts of the company. The evolution and main stages of the integration processes in the engineering industry of Russia for the period from 1991 to the present are analyzed in the article. The current state of the level of integration in the engineering industry of Russia is also given. The assumption about the direct correlation between business continuity and the degree of integration in the engineering industry of Russia is formulated. The prospects for the further development of the integration of industrial enterprises in Russia are evaluated.

The article analyzes the features of professional training of future employees of the machine-building industry in higher education institutions of Ukraine. The existing developments on the research problem and practical aspects of training future specialists in mechanical engineering are analyzed. The object of research is the process of professional training of future specialists in mechanical engineering. The purpose of this article is to analyze the features of professional training of future specialists in the machine-building industry with further identification of problems and prospects for improving the professional training of future specialists in mechanical engineering. Based on the analysis of curricula for bachelors and masters of mechanical engineering, the structure of the study load by cycles of disciplines is established. In particular, the share of humanitarian, natural, professional and practical training of future workers in the machine-building industry is determined. The directions of improvement of professional training of future specialists of mechanical engineering by the analysis and adaptation of general didactic principles concerning definition of the maintenance of education are defined: the account of social conditions and needs of a society; compliance of the content of education with the goals of the chosen model of education; structural unity of the content of education at different levels; unity of semantic and procedural aspects of education; accessibility and environmental compliance. Currently, the agro–industrial complex (AIC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan has all the advantages and opportunities to become a new driver of economic development. The article examines the state of households of the population provides statistical data on the main indicators of the dynamics and structure of livestock products and the productivity of livestock and poultry for all categories of farms in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The paper shows the role of production of household farms in comparison with other categories of farms. In recent years, households (formerly personal subsidiary farms) play an important role in the country’s agriculture and make a significant contribution to ensuring the food security of the state. Further development of farms of the rural population is directly related, in particular, to the improvement of the living standards of rural residents, and in general to the development of rural areas. The aim of the study is to develop theoretical and practical recommendations for the further growth of the main indicators of livestock production by households and their significant impact in ensuring the country’s food security. In this regard, it is necessary to consider trends in the production of livestock products by all categories of farms, and in particular the contribution of households to the process of trends in the production of livestock products by households in the context of ensuring food security in our state.

Today, the state directly depends on the industrial complex the entire economy. Among the leading industries is mechanical engineering, as it is closely linked to other economic activities. It is engaged in production machines and equipment that ensure the production of goods and services by enterprises of other industries, thus stimulating their development. For further intensive development of the whole industry needs to ensure a sufficiently high level of activity of the engineering industry. The main problems of development of the machine-building industry include: underdevelopment internal market infrastructure; insufficient level of solvency of producers that negatively affects the financial and economic condition of enterprises in the industry; obsolescence of fixed assets basic enterprises of the industry, which have not been updated during the last 15 years, which has a negative impact on competitiveness, quality and cost of production; lack of working capital, imperfection of the mechanism of medium- and long-term lending; low domestic demand for domestic products; lack of real sources of funding, which makes it impossible reconstruction and technical re-equipment of enterprises in the industry; lack of financial mechanisms and tools that generate interest in innovation, as well as stimulate research and research and development work, as a consequence of the low level of innovation activity of domestic enterprises. All these problems significantly affect the current state of operation of machine-building enterprises. The priority is to analyze the financial and economic activities of machine-building enterprises, and as a consequence - to identify possible ways to improve the situation. The article reveals the essence and necessity of assessing the financial condition of enterprises in modern conditions. The financial condition of the machine-building enterprises of the Zaporizhzhia region was assessed on the example of the following four: PJSC «Zaporizhzhia Mechanical Plant», PJSC «Motor Sich», LLC SE «Commonwealth» and LLC SPE «Energomash» using factor analysis. Using the reporting of these enterprises, the analysis of the main financial indicators for the period from 2015 to 2019 analyzed the dynamics of changes in net income, cost, gross profit and net profit (loss) of the surveyed enterprises. The analysis of factors influencing the gross profit of the studied enterprises is carried out. It is established that in order to establish a stable financial activity in enterprises, it is necessary to thoroughly analyze the financial condition, to ensure the efficient use and formation of financial resources in their financial and economic activities.

Studying the current state of cartography and ways of further developing the industry, the role of the map in the future of the society, new methods of promoting cartographic products is impossible without a deep scientific analyzing all the paths, events and factors influencing its formation and development throughout all the historic steps of cartographic production in Russia. In the article, the history of cartographic production in Russia is considered together with the development of private, state and military cartography, since, despite some differences, they have a common technical, technological and production basis. The author describes the stages of originating, formation and growth of industrial cartographic production from the beginning of the XVIII century until now. The connection between the change of political formations and technological structures with the mentioned stages of maps and atlases production is considered. Each stage is studied in detail, a step-by-step analysis was carried out, and the characteristics of each stage are described. All the events and facts are given in chronological order, highlighting especially significant moments influencing the evolution of cartographic production. The data on the volumes of printing and sales of atlases and maps by commercial and state enterprises are presented. The main trends and lines of further development of cartographic production in Russia are studied.
