The purpose of this study is to evaluate the local government’s success in its development, especially in the field of sports from the aspect of open space availability, community participation, sport resource, and community fitness level (Sport Development Index) that an evaluative research approach is conducted in this study. The research employs both stratified random sampling and cluster sampling technique. The population basic characters used include; the differences of regional progress level, gender between male and female, age ranging from children aged 7-12 years old, adolescents aged 13-17 years old and adults aged 18-40 years old, while the basic cluster used is district and sub-district or village. The research results show that the open space index is classified in low category (0.180), human resource index in medium category (0.551), public participation index in medium category (0.572), and physical fitness index in low category (0.488). Simultaneously, the Sport Development Index of Banyumas Regency in 2010 is classified in low category (0.487).

Exercise is the right of every human being, and the government as stipulated in the law has an obligation to facilitate the community in exercising, therefore what the government has done should be evaluated to correct what policies are not true or lacking. This study aims to find out and evaluate: 1) availability of open space for sports in the metro city; 2) availability of sports human resources in the metro city; 3) the level of community participation in sports in the metro city; 4) level of people's physical fitness in the metro city; 5) sports development index (SDI) in the metro city. This research method using the quantitative method. The sample was 270 people from 3 sub-districts using cluster sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, as well as Multistage Fitness Test. The results of this study were: 1) the index of open space in the metro city was 0.712 in the SDI norm into the medium or enough category; 2) the human resource index in the metro city was 0.00104 in the SDI norms in the low category; 3) the index of participation in the metro city was 0.474 in the SDI norms in the low category; 4) physical fitness index in the metro city is 0.33 in the SDI norms in the low category; 5) SDI in the metro city was of 0.379 in the SDI norm included in the low category. That means the development of sports in the Metro city is still lagging behind or still very less, where there are 3 indicators in SDI is still low that is the availability of human resources sports, and community participation to exercise, and physical fitness of people who are still in the low category so that more attention from the Metro city. The availability of sports manpower is the lowest that is only 0.00104.

This study aims to determine and evaluate: (1) the level of physical fitness of people in Karanganyar Regency, (2) the availability of open space in Karanganyar Regency, (3) the availability of human resources in Karanganyar Regency in exercising, (4) the level of community participation in Karanganyar Regency ( 5) sports development index (SDI) in Karanganyar Regency. This research method uses quantitative methods. Samples were 270 people from 3 sub-districts using cluster sampling techniques. The instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, and also the Multi-Stage Fitness Test (MFT). The results of this study are: (1) the index of physical fitness level of the Karanganyar Regency is 0.416 in the SDI norm in the low category, (2) the open space index in Karanganyar Regency is 0.346 in the SDI norm in the low category, (3) resource index humans in Karanganyar Regency are 0.00108 in the SDI norm in the low category, (4) the Karanganyar Regency community participation index is 0.425 in the SDI norm in the low category, (5) The sports development index (SDI) in Karanganyar Regency is 0.297 in the SDI norm in the low category.

BACKGROUND: Women face a physiological and psychological struggle during labor. When labor approaches, it may be a time of contrasting feelings, with anxiety and anticipation coexisting with optimism and pleasure. AIM: To assess the effectiveness of acupressure on Labor pain during the rst stage of Labor among expectant mothers among experimental and control group. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The researcher adopted the evaluative research approach. Quasi experimental research design was used by the investigator. The accessible population for the study was mothers during rst stage of labor admitted in Medical College Jabalpur M.P. selected through purposive sampling technique. RESULTS: The majority of participants in the study sample had a mild level of pain, 44 percent had extreme pain, and 4 percent had very severe pain, according to the pretest score anger of pain level. The majority of participants in the control group have a moderate level of pain, 32% have an extreme level of pain, and 12% have slight pain. CONCLUSION: The ndings of this study indicate that non-pharmacologic interventions such as acupressure are successful in promoting relaxing and enhancing forces, allowing women to face the demands of labor. Acupressure is also an accurate, convenient, non-invasive, and cost-effective procedure that can be used in labor without causing harm to the mother or the baby, according to this report

Objectives: To determine the effectiveness of planned teaching programme (PTP) on knowledge regarding cervical cancer among women at selected urban area Karad and to find out the association between knowledge scores with selected sociodemographic variables among women in selected urban areas at Karad.Methods: Evaluative research approach was used for the study and conducted in urban area Koyana Vasahat, Karad, Maharashtra, India, using one group pre- and post-test design. Systematic proportionate sampling technique was used for selecting 60 women. On the 1st day, structured knowledge questionnaire was used for collecting data, and PTP on knowledge regarding cervical cancer was conducted, followed by posttest on the 7th  day. The data collected, tabulated, and analyzed in terms of objectives of the study using descriptive and inferential statistics.Results: The mean pretest value was 7 and the mean posttest value was 11 with a difference of 4. The paired t-value was 10.2, (p<0.05) showing a significant increase in the knowledge regarding cervical cancer and its prevention. There was no significant association between knowledge scores of women with the selected demographic variables.Conclusion: The study showed that the PTP on cervical cancer was effective in improving the knowledge of women and thus helps them to understand the harmful effects of cervical cancer as well as to take necessary steps for early detection and prevention.Keywords: Effectiveness, Planned teaching programme, Cervical cancer, Knowledge, Women.

<p><em>This research was based on the unked development of sports in Sambi Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency, which was reviewed from the Sport Development Index (SDI). In SDI itself there are 4 indicators that are used as a tool to help how sports development in Sambi District Boyolali Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the availability of open space in Sambi Subdistrict (2) the availability of human resources in Sambi Subdistrict (3) the level of community participation in exercising in Sambi Subdistrict (4) the physical fitness level of the community of Sambi Subdistrict so that later known sports development index (SDI) in Sambi Subdistrict. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The approach used in this research is survey. The sample of this study amounted to 90 people who were distinguished into 3 age categories, namely children 7-12 years old, teenagers 13-17 years old, and young 18-40 years taken from 3 different villages in the district of Sambi which is representative of Catur Village, Sambi Village, and Canden Village. The collection of areas from cluster 3 villages is based on SDI guidelines where the 3 villages represent low, medium, advanced categories. Instrument test used in the form of questionnaires and Multi Stage Fitness Test (MFT). The results of this study are (1) the availability of open space in the district of Sambi Sudan is quite good and in the index of open space 0.726, (2) The availability of human resources in Sambi sub-district is relatively low with an index of 0.0024, (3) the index of community participation in exercising is quite good in view of the participation index of 0.522, (4) physical fitness of the community wilaah Sambi district gets an index of 0.292 which is in the low category. The conclusion of this study is the SDI index which includes Physical Fitness, Human Resources, Open Space Sports, Sports Participation in Sambi District of 0.385, and if seen from the norms of SDI, Sambi district is still classified in the low category.</em><em></em></p>

Bogor city has a natural phenomenon as a tourist destination. Therefore, until now when entering the holiday period, Bogor City is always crowded by tourists. To promote tourism in the city of Bogor, it is necessary necessary facilities that can support such as hospitality industry. The existence of hospitality industry in the city of Bogor becomes a very big attraction for tourists both for the purpose of seeking entertainment or for business purposes. Based on information obtained by tourists on the existence of tourist destinations in the city of Bogor, the tourists are interested to travel by spending time and money to satisfy curiosity.This research is conducted to learn more with the formulation of the problem as the factors of what hospitals can satisfy tourists who visit the city of Bogor?The research approach used in this research is quantitative approach. While this type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research aims to describe or describe a research object.Technique of taking data using primary and secondary data. Primary data were taken using questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 travelers with sampling technique of cluster sampling, at Bogor Botanical Garden object, Taman Hat / Taman Ade Irma Suryani and Suryakencana Culinary Tour. Data were analyzed using factor analysis.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that of the 24 most influential community hospital factors on tourist visit in Bogor City can be grouped into 7 components or variables.

Teachers personality plays a significant role in accomplishing students educational achievement. Teaching and learning have a major part in creating a friendly and encouraging learning environment for students. In this context, the current research was conducted to explore the influence of tutors character on pupils learning and accomplishment. It was a descriptive correlative research approach. The sample comprised of 1,152 teachers and 2,304 students of 10th grade of public and private secondary schools who were chosen through a cluster sampling technique. The respondents were taken from 12 districts of Punjab, Pakistan. Two questionnaires; one for teachers and one for students were used to collect data. Teachers questionnaires were based on an adapted personality measure scale of John and Srivastavas Big Five Inventory (1999). The statistical analysis displayed no significant rapport among teachers personality and pupils academic success. The regression analysis and correlation coefficient showed that the dimension of agreeableness, extroversion, neuroticism, and conscientiousness has no correlation with students performance. However, openness has a significant correlation between students performance.

Background: The basic food of infant is mother’s milk. Breastfeeding is the most effective way to provide a baby with a caring environment and complete food. It meets the nutritional as well as emotional and psychological needs of the infant. But there is tendency to replace the natural means of infant feeding and introduction of breast milk substitutes. So, breastfeeding deserves encouragement from all concerned in the welfare of children.Methods: A quantitative evaluative research approach and Quasi experimental one group pre-test post-test design was used. By using purposive sampling technique total 65 mothers of under two years children admitted in selected wards i.e.; pediatric and maternity ward at V.P.I.M.S., Lucknow, were selected to assess the effectiveness of an information booklet on knowledge regarding breastfeeding. Written permission was obtained from the authorities of Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, where the study was conducted.Results: In pre-test the majority of mothers, 50.80% had moderate knowledge, 40.00% of mothers had inadequate knowledge whereas 9.20% of mothers had adequate knowledge. In post-test majority 92.30% mothers had adequate knowledge, 7.70% mothers had moderate knowledge whereas none of the mothers had inadequate knowledge.Conclusions: The study concluded that after the distribution of information booklet on knowledge regarding breastfeeding mothers of under two-years children have gained their knowledge.

<p><em>This research uses descriptive and comparative research methods. The sampling technique in this study was stratified random sampling with cluster sampling. The samples taken in this study were Wonogiri District as a district with high population density, Slogohimo sub-district as a district with medium population density and Pracimantoro District as a sub-district with low population density and divided into age group and gender, totaling 270 people. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire technique. The reliability test in this study is guided by the SDI instrument as an instrument for measuring the results of sports development which has been trusted because it has been patented in the book Sport Development Index 2007 by Cholik and Maksum. The validity test of the measuring instrument used is the standard set in the Sport Development Index (SDI). The data analysis technique in this research is the stage of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) the sports participation index in Wonogiri Regency is 0.388. The index was obtained by combining the sports participation index in Wonogiri District of 0.588, the sports participation index in Slogohimo District of 0.488, and the participation index of the Pracimantoro District of 0.477. The sports participation index of Wonogiri Regency shows that the level of sports participation is included in the low category, (2) The comparison of sports participation in Wonogiri Regency in 2017 and 2020 is sports participation in 2017 of 0.237 while sports participation in 2020 is 0.388 which means sports participation in Wonogiri Regency 2020 has increased and is better than in 2017, (3) The sports development of Wonogiri Regency in terms of sports participation is still far from being good or advanced, there are many things that need to be considered and addressed by the Wonogiri Regency government.</em></p>
