Due to the outbreak of the global pandemic (COVID-19), 2021 International Conference on Industrial Manufacturing and Structural Materials (IMSM 2021) was held virtually online on September 17-19, 2021. The decision to hold the virtual conference was made in compliance with many restrictions and regulations that were imposed by countries around the globe. Such restrictions were made to minimize the risk of people contracting or spreading the COVID-19 through physical contact. There were 50 individuals who attended this online conference, represented many countries including China, Algeria, Malaysia, and Russia. IMSM 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Industrial Manufacturing and Structural Materials to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities industrial manufacturing and structural materials and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-10 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. In the second part, we invited two professors as our keynote speakers. Prof. Feng Wen, from Hainan University, China. His primarily developing wide interests in research on Micro/Nano-scaled thin films and surface modification of materials. And then we had Prof. Kamal Z. ZAMLI, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. Their insightful speeches had triggered heated discussion in the third session of the conference. Every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. Topics include but are not limited to the following areas: Industrial Manufacturing Technology, Structural Materials and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported IMSM 2021. The help and contribution of each individual and institution was instrumental in the success of the conference. In particular, we would like to thank the organizing committee for its valuable inputs in shaping the conference program and reviewing the submitted papers. We sincerely hope that the IMSM 2021 turned out to be a forum for excellent discussions that enabled new ideas to come about, promoting collaborative research. We are sure that the proceedings will serve as an important research source of references and knowledge, which will lead to not only scientific and engineering findings but also new products and technologies. The 2021 International Conference on Materials Genetic Engineering and Information Science (MGEIS 2021) was held on September 03-05, 2021 as a virtual conference due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), and in order to protect the well-being of our attendees, partners, and staff as our number one priority. MGEIS 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Material Genetic Engineering, New Materials and Information Science to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Materials and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Material Genetic Engineering and Information Science and related areas. This scientific event brings together more than 80 national and international researchers in materials genetic engineering and information science. On top of the local participants coming from different national universities, international participants are also registered from different countries. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. We are glad to introduce you that the 2021 4th International Conference on Mechanical, Electrical and Material Application (MEMA 2021) was successfully held on October 29-31, 2021. In light of worldwide travel restriction and the impact of COVID-19, MEMA 2021 was carried out in the form of virtual conference to avoid personnel gatherings. Because most participants were still highly enthusiastic about participating in this conference, we chose to carry out MEMA 2021 via online platform according to the original schedule instead of postponing it. MEMA 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Mechanical, Electrical and Material Application to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Mechanical, Electrical and Material Application and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Mechanical, Electrical and Material Application and related areas. We were greatly honored to invited Prof. Kun Li, from Chongqing University, China and Assoc. Prof. Wei Wei, from Xi’an University of Technology, China as our Conference Chairmen. This scientific event brings together more than 100 national and international researchers in mechanical, electrical and material application. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-10 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. We were pleased to invite four distinguished experts to present their insightful speeches. Our first keynote speaker, Prof. Shahid Hussain, Jiangsu University, China. His research interests include MOS-MOF-MXene Nanomaterials, Gas-Sensors, Electrochemical Supercapacitors, Li-S batteries. And then we had Prof. Jie Huang, from Southwest University, China. His research includes RF/Microwave circuits and sensors. Prof. Qiyan Xu, Anhui University of Technology, China. His main research directions are: New process and technology of low cost steel making, Direct reduction and melting reduction, Development of new metallurgical technology - comprehensive utilization of waste resources. Lastly, we were glad to invite Prof. Kun Li, Chongqing University, China. He mainly engaged in additive manufacturing, intelligent 3D net forming, high performance materials and phase transformation, material computing and other research. In the last part of the conference, all participants were invited to join in a WeChat group to discuss and explore the academic issues after the presentations. The online discussion was lasted for about 30-60 minutes. We are glad to share with you that we still received lots of submissions from the conference during this special period. Hence, we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. These papers feature following topics but are not limited to: Mechanical Dynamics and its Applications, Material Physics, Electrical and Electronic Systems and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard. Lastly, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Chairman, the distinguished keynote speakers, as well as all the participants. We also want to thank the publisher for publishing the proceedings. May the readers could enjoy the gain some valuable knowledge from the proceedings. Due to recent pandemic, the 2021 International Conference on Energy, Power and Electrical Engineering (EPEE 2021) which was planned to be held in Jilin, China, was held virtually online during September 24-26, 2021. The decision to hold the virtual conference was made in compliance with many restrictions and regulations that were imposed by countries around the globe. Such restrictions were made to minimize the risk of people contracting or spreading the COVID-19 through physical contact. There were 100 individuals who attended this online conference, represented many countries including Malaysia, Australia, Ireland and China. As a leading role in the global megatrend of scientific innovation, China has been creating a more and more open environment for scientific innovation, increasing the depth and breadth of academic cooperation, and building a community of innovation that benefits all. These endeavors have made new contribution to globalization and creating a community of shared future. EPEE 2021 aimed to promote an exchange of recent and advanced information among scientists and engineers in the wide field of “energy„, “power„ and “electrical engineering„. The forum is also aimed particularly at promoting communication and collaboration between fundamental researchers and those engaged in the development of practical technology in respective areas of energy, power and electrical engineering. The continuing "explosion" of scientific information and the arborization of medical specialties have caused physicians to invent names and catch phrases to define their new activities. Regrettably, much of this latter-day vocabulary is unmusical and clumsy. Some examples represent a downright assault on the English Ianguage. It is alarming that a profession whose members demand such precision in their work would tolerate such slapdash semantic shenanigans. One has winced at such utterances as "examination of the chest showed no pathology;" one has cringed when otherwise esteemed colleagues have indulged in such semantic horrors as "coagulogram" and "febrile agglutinins;" but, in years to come the one atrocity whose promulgation may be remembered with particular mal de mer by the older pediatricians will be the term "ambulatory pediatrics."

The generl goal of this research study is to rethink the marketing opportunities to manage the customer experience with the tourism brand based on some world-renowned marketing innovations in tourism. The ongoing global pandemic crisis poses challenges to the future successful development of tourism and in particular tourism brands. The revival of the tourist brand is based on the inevitable process of total digitalization of business and market processes on one hand, but on the other hand the living human contact with the brand is becoming more and more demanding. Overcoming travel fears is in alignment with the restoration of the customer trust in the tourist brand. The transformation of tourism brand is still to come and the key to a successful completion is the new way of managing the customer experience.

The 2021 2nd International Conference on Electrical Technology and Automatic Control (ICETAC 2021) was held on October 23, 2021 as a virtual conference due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), and in order to protect the well-being of our attendees, partners, and staff as our number one priority. ICETAC 2021 brings together more than 70 national and international researchers from industry, government, and academia. We invited submissions of papers and abstracts on all topics related to Electrical Technology and Automatic Control. The conference provides networking opportunities for participants to share ideas, designs, and experiences on the state-of-the-art and future direction of Electrical Technology and Automatic Control. ICETAC 2021 will feature a high-quality technical & experiential program dealing with a mix of traditional and contemporary hot topics in paper presentations and high-profile keynotes. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-10 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Prof. Yuanchang Zhong, our first keynote speaker, from Chongqing University, China. His mainly research focus on Electronic Technology, Electronic Measurement Technology, System Engineering etc. And then we had Prof. Qinmin Yang, from Zhejiang University, China. He presented an insightful speech: Theoretical research and practice in intelligent control design for wind energy. In this talk, challenges faced by control community for high reliable and efficient exploitation of wind energy are discussed. Prof. Badrul Hisham Ahmad, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, performed a speech: Switchable Absorptive Bandstop to Bandpass Filter using Parallel-coupled Resonator. Our finale keynote speaker, Prof. He Yan, from Chongqing University of Technology, China. He presented an insightful speech: Research on Key Technologies of Semantic SLAM for Mobile Robot in Dynamic Scene. Their insightful speeches had triggered heated discussion in the third session of the conference. Every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. The thought of breath grips the world as climate change, racial injustice and a global pandemic converge to suck oxygen, the lifeforce, out of the earth. The visibility of breath, its critical significance to existence, I argue, is made evident by poets. To speak of breath is to lodge ourselves between birth and death and requires sustained, meditative, attentive study to an everyday yet taken for granted practice. Like breathing, reading is also a practice that many took for granted until the pandemic. My paper will engage the affective and/or poetic dimensions of reading left out of theories of literacy that render it instrumental and divorced from the life of the reader (Freire, 1978). I will suggest that scholars of literacy, in every language, begin to engage a poetics of literacy as attending to the existential significance of language in carrying our personhood and lives. I will also argue that our diminishing capacities to read imaginatively and creatively have led to the rise of populist ideologies that infect public discourse and an increasingly anti-intellectual and depressed social sphere. Despite this decline in the practice and teaching of reading, it is reported that more than any other activity, reading sustained the lives of individuals and communities’ during a global pandemic. Teachers and scholars might take advantage of the renewed interested in reading to redeliver poetry and literary language to the public sphere to teach affective reading. Poetry harkens back to ancient practices of reading inherent in all traditions of reading. It enacts a pedagogy of breath, I argue, one that observes its significance in our capacity to exist through the exchange of air in words, an exchange of vital textual meanings we have taken for granted as we continue to infect our social and political world and earth with social hatred, toxins, and death. In this paper I engage fragments of poetry by poets of our time (last century onward) that teaches us to breathe and relearn the divine and primal stance that reading poetry attends to and demands. More than any other form, “poetry,” Ada Limon claims, “has breath built into it”. As such, reading poetry helps us to breathe when the world bears down and makes it hard for us to come up for air.

Many urgent problems that societies currently face—from climate change to a global pandemic—require citizens to engage with scientific information as members of democratic societies as well as to solve problems in their personal lives. Most often, to solve their epistemic aims (aims directed at achieving knowledge and understanding) regarding such socio-scientific issues, individuals search for information online, where there exists a multitude of possibly relevant and highly interconnected sources of different perspectives, sometimes providing conflicting information. The paper provides a review of the literature aimed at identifying (a) constraints and affordances that scientific knowledge and the online information environment entail and (b) individuals' cognitive and motivational processes that have been found to hinder, or conversely, support practices of engagement (such as critical information evaluation or two-sided dialogue). Doing this, a conceptual framework for understanding and fostering what we call online engagement with scientific information is introduced, which is conceived as consisting of individual engagement (engaging on one's own in the search, selection, evaluation, and integration of information) and dialogic engagement (engaging in discourse with others to interpret, articulate and critically examine scientific information). In turn, this paper identifies individual and contextual conditions for individuals' goal-directed and effortful online engagement with scientific information.

The first two parts were conducted via online collaboration tool, Zoom, while the online discussion was carried out through instant communication tool, WeChat. The online platform enabled all participants to join this grand academic event from their own home. We are glad to share with you that we still received lots of submissions from the conference during this special period. Hence, we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. This paper traces the course of the ongoing pandemic as it was reported in some of the established world media as well as in scientific journals. The author has been following the various sources since practically the begining of the pandemic in Europe and here will try to assess the role and the actual practice of scientists, politicians and other actors throughout the pandemic, from its begining in China at the close of 2019 till end of February 2021. The key questions addressed in this paper are: Why the events of the ongoing pandemic unfolded as they did, with so many misguided decisions by politicians (as well as experts at times), with so much misinformation and fake news and so many missed opportunities for decisive and life-changing action? What is the reason behind prolonged intervals of silence in the communication chain? And what cost the insufficient familiarity with science – its facts, methods or means of communication – in the time of global pandemic? The main thesis is that the insufficient level of scientific knowledge – and at times of basic scientific litteracy – as witnessed from the highest places of political power to the so called conspiracy theorists, costed us all too many lives lost and an unforseeable suffering to come. The responsibility is shared between virtually all actors and it must be given due consideration, in some cases even at the courts of justice, if we are to learn all the valuable lessons for the future of public health, world economy and, indeed, the survival of humanity.
