The method of focus group survey helped to identify the value orientations and information needs of the youth audience in the evaluation of the literary and artistic radio program, the motives that determine the attitude to its sound image, as well as the effectiveness of its influence on the cognitive processes of listeners, perception in general.

The study found that the literary radio program was perceived as a low-intensity audio text by the participants of the focus group without much enthusiasm, restrained. Respondents mostly expressed negative emotions. Attention was low, average material memorization was medium. Interest in the program was also mediocre. This was influenced by the discrepancy between the content and the form of the program with the values and life meanings of the respondents. Political conformism, distrust, indifference to social, cultural norms and traditions, preference for emotional individual satisfaction, enjoyment of life and low threshold of responsibility for one’s own actions and future – traits inherent in echo-generation Y. The paper analyzes the ways in which destructive internet content influences the legal awareness of youth. Young people use the Internet most actively, so they are the most subject to the influence of both positive and negative internet trends. Various means of legal education will be inefficient if the character and learning styles of the younger generation are not taken into consideration. The authors define the specifics of the perception of the information by Generation Z, aka zoomers. Also, they briefly survey some features of internet content, especially those that are significant for perceptual psychology. The authors draw conclusions about trends in the sphere of education, as well as offer some recommendations about how to use the knowledge of the specifics of Generation Z in the legal education process

In this book, the authors focus their attention on the role that culture, that collection of values, beliefs, attitudes, and preferences responsible for creating national identities, has played and continues to play on individuals’ decisions when they are in or about to enter the labor market. At a time when millennials face many employment challenges and Generation Z can be expected to encounter even more, a clearer understanding of the ways cultural transmission could facilitate or hinder productive and rewarding work would appear to be both useful and well-timed. The book’s title—Caught in the Cultural Preference Net: Three Generations of Employment Choices in Six Capitalist Democracies—conveys the authors’ aim to determine if work-related beliefs, attitudes, and preferences have remained stable across generations or if they have become pliant under changing economic conditions. And while millennials serve as the anchoring point for much of our discussion, they do not neglect the significance that their parents from Generation X (b. 1965–1982) and their baby boomer parents (b. 1945–1964) may have had on their socialization into the world of work. The book is organized around three lines of inquiry: (a) Do some national cultures possess value orientations that are more successful than others in promoting economic opportunity? (b) Does the transmission of these value orientations demonstrate persistence irrespective of economic conditions or are they simply the result of these conditions? (c) If a nation’s beliefs and attitudes do indeed impact opportunity, do they do so by influencing an individual’s preferences and behavioral intentions? The authors’ principal method for isolating the employment effects of cultural transmission is what is referred to as a stated preference experiment. They replicate this experiment in six countries—Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, India, and the United States—countries that have historically adopted significantly different forms of capitalism. They not only find some strong evidence for cultural stability across countries but also observe an erosion in this stability among millennials.

Health consciousness and environmental issues have been concerned greatly in recent years. In the cosmetics industry, these considerations initiated a tendency for Generation Z (Gen Z) to purchase green cosmetics instead of chemical cosmetics. This paper summarizes several theoretical foundations to build hypotheses and framework examining factors affecting Gen Z 's purchasing intention towards green cosmetics. Based on Value - Belief - Norm Theory (Stern, 2000), this research focuses on exploring the influence of psychological factors on green purchasing intentions (GPI). In addition, this study investigates the mediating effects of pro-environmental belief and personal norms on the relationship between the value orientations and the green purchasing intention. Finally, researchers will analyse data collected from people of different gender, ages and their monthly spending on cosmetics. A total of 655 valid responses were gathered through online and offline surveys using convenient sampling techniques. The authors evaluate the reliability (Cronbach's Alpha) and validity (EFA) by using SPSS 25 software, and test the study hypotheses by using SmartPLS 3.7 technique. The findings reveal that hedonic (β=0.290) and egoistic value orientation (β=0.237) indirectly affect GPI while personal norm exerts significant influence on GPI directly (β=0.419). The findings of the study have important implications for formulating appropriate governmental public policies and developing better marketing strategies for green cosmetics brands to approach customers.

The article discusses searching for solutions related to the university education of preschool and early school teachers in a time marked by intense and unpredictable changes. The fluid reality we live in poses an important challenge for those responsible for teacher training, requiring them to prepare teachers to deal with constant changes and remain open to what is yet to come. In a constantly changing reality, it is difficult to predict which competencies teachers will need in the next decades of the 21st century. It is certainly worth the effort to focus on fostering the passion and developing the personalities of future teachers working with children of preschool and early school age. The education process should also take into account the needs and expectations of the new generation of teachers, representing what the literature of the subject describes as “generation Z”. Apart from including theoretical considerations, the article is an attempt to showcase selected solutions developed at the Faculty of Educational Studies of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

The article presents the results of the study of the values of representatives of generations through actual fears through the author’s questionnaire. We have compiled data on the study of values in psychology and sociology and showed that values, value orientations constitute the core of the individual, underlie social norms. The avail able methods for the study of values that identify them at the group or personal level are discussed. A link is found between values and human fears. A working version of the author’s questionnaire examining the values of generations through actual fears (fears: I, others, nature, culture, technology, mystical) is presented. The sample of representatives of generations (180 people) shows the results of the initial testing of the questionnaire. It was shown that the «Transitional» generation (according to N. Howe, W. Strauss is generation X) is dominated by the value of culture and the fear of losing it, the «Informational» generation (generation Y) is dominated by the value I and the fear of losing oneself, The «New» generation (generation Z) is the most valuable information technology and the fear of the multiplicity of worlds is actualized. It is concluded that the submitted questionnaire is easy to use, speeds up the process of use and reveals the peculiarities of values from deep positions.
