This paper explains how focused implementation of a broad range of technologies was used as the key strategy resulting in the establishment of highly efficient, dedicated facility for manufacture of gas turbine disk, hub, and drum rotor components. The physical and operational constraints associated with the conversion of an existing operating facility, along with the rigid time constraints, required a carefully phased and integrated plan. Reviews and tradeoffs of each of the many available manufacturing technologies are discussed and those selected, such as flowline units, group technology, rule based design/manufacturing and product improvement teams are explained in the context of their implementation phase-in. Before and after performance results are provided and on-going enhancements of this manufacturing system are covered.

The implementation integrated health center of adolences begins in 2018 at Aur Duri Primary Health Care, the number of adolescent visits has decreased due to one of them being established and there is no specific method in providing information and education communication (IEC) reproductive health. The target activities are 30 adolescents in Penyengat Rendah from April to June 2019. These community service activities through 3 stages of activity: the pre-implementation stage determining and obtaining a response letter from partners, arranging cooperation and determining goals activities, determine fun and flexible methods, determine activities which include lectures, discussion of Buzz Group methods and IEC practices. The implementation phase includes the provision of information about IEC through discussions using the Buzz Group and IEC practices. The post-implementation phase evaluates the knowledge and skills in providing IEC. The results of knowledge tests showed differences in the mean knowledge before and after using the Buzz Group of 3.133. The conclusion was level of achievement the target good, and adolescents feel the many benefits received increasing knowledge and skills of giving IEC to their peers. It is recommended for Primary Health care can develop this activity in other integrated health center of adolescent

Abstract Nowadays the climate change is widely recognized as a global threat by both public opinion and industries. Actions to mitigate its causes are gaining momentum within all industries. In the energy field, there is the necessity to reduce emissions and to improve technologies to preserve the environment. LCA analyses of products are fundamental in this context. In the present work, a life cycle assessment has been carried out to calculate the carbon footprint of different water washing processes, as well as their effectiveness in recovering Gas Turbine efficiency losses. Field data have been collected and analyzed to make a comparison of the GT operating conditions before and after the introduction of an innovative high flow online water washing technique. The assessments have been performed using SimaPro software and cover the entire Gas Turbine and Water Washing skids operations, including the airborne emissions, skid pump, the water treatment and the heaters.

Abstract Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) of metallic components is unlocking new design options for high efficiency gas turbine component designs not possible by conventional manufacturing technologies. Surface roughness is a key characteristic of LPBF components that impacts heat transfer correlations and crack initiation from co-located surface defects — both are critical for gas turbine component durability and performance. However, even for a single material, there is an increasing diversity in laser machines (single vs multi-laser), layer thicknesses (∼20–80 microns) and orientations to the build plate (upskin, vertical and downskin) that result in significant variability in surface roughness. This study systematically compares the surface roughness across the above-mentioned variables to further develop a repeatable correlation of surface roughness to the angle between the substrate normal and laser incidence direction. This presented data will be discussed in detail, to show potential applicability of this process signature curve across materials, machines, and substrate orientations. Future steps to a rapid process qualification standard for surface roughness, across Siemens Energy’s global manufacturing footprint will also be discussed.

Precise simulations of gas turbine performance cannot be done without component maps. In the early days of a new project one often has to use scaled maps of similar machines. Alternatively one can calculate the component partload characteristics provided that the many details needed for such an exercise are available. In a later stage often rig tests will be done to get detailed information about the behavior of the compressors respectively turbines. Performance calculation programs usually require the map data in a specific format. To produce this format needs some preprocessing. Measured data cannot be used directly because they show a scatter and they are not evenly distributed over the range of interest. Due to limitations in the test equipment often there is lack of data for very low and very high speed. With the help of a specialized drawing program available on a PC one can easily eliminate the scatter in the data and also inter- and extrapolate additional lines of constant corrected speed. Many graphs showing both the measured data and the lines passing through the data as a function of physically meaningful parameters allow to check whether the result makes sense or not. The extrapolation of compressor maps toward very low speed, as required for the calculation of starting, idle and windmilling performance calculations, is discussed in some detail. Instead of true measured data one can use data read from maps published in open literature. The program is also an excellent tool for checking and extending component maps one has derived from sparse information about a gas turbine to be simulated.

The relationship between depressed mood, reasoning and perceptual performance was examined with 57 undergraduate volunteers. To intensify its effect, Velten's 1968 mood induction procedure was modified by having subjects hear a prerecording of each mood statement prior to saying it themselves. Also, midway through the experiment subjects completed an abbreviated mood induction to ensure continuation of the appropriate mood. Ratings of subjects' mood on a 13-point Likert scale before and after mood induction indicated the mood induction was effective. Subjects completed the reasoning measure of 48 syllogisms, and the perceptual measure involving identification of positive, negative, or neutral stimulus words presented tachistoscopically. “Depressed” individuals showed poorer reasoning performance of marginal significance than “elated” subjects. Mood induction did not appear to affect perceptual performance. Results are discussed in terms of the research on reasoning deficits in depression.

Globalization has resulted in a shift in human morals, marked by the many cases of moral deviations that are rife in various parts of Indonesia so that the application of spiritual attitudes has not been maximized. The attitude of dishonesty is shown by the number of students who cheat on the test, and the attitude of indiscipline is shown by the number of students who are late so that the application of social attitudes does not seem to be visible. The role of PAI teachers is considered quite important for the development of these two attitudes. At SMPN 1 Darussalam, PAI teachers have played a role in fostering spiritual and social attitudes. Big. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. The results showed the role of PAI teachers in fostering spiritual attitudes by praying before and after lessons, praying in congregation, doing charity activities every Friday, and religious activities. The role of PAI teachers in fostering social attitudes is carried out through social service activities, visiting the Disabled Foundation and nursing homes, getting used to the 3S (smile, greeting, greeting), reporting to the teacher what items are found, punishing students who are late. Factors supporting the role of Islamic Education teachers in fostering spiritual and social attitudes are seen from adequate school facilities in the form of female/male prayer rooms, learning media such as LCD, the use of active methods. While the inhibiting factors include the lack of adequate facilities, especially LCDs, the lack of interest in teachers and knowledge, and the lack of interest in students to improve themselves.

<p>Goals of the research to analyze whether occurred abnormal return of ASIAN Games phenomena and see how investors react to the big ASIAN Games 2018 event in Indonesia. . This reseach uses a sample of companies included in the hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the observation period, based on the purposive sampling method which obtained 22 companies and used the event study method. There is a significant abnormal return but not on the phenomenon of the Asian Games 2018. This shows that investors still wait and see to the organization of the Asian Games in 2018. No difference of abnormal return before and after the Asian Games 2018. This is because, as investors look to the many tourists who have started to flock to Indonesia before the Asian Games in 2018 took place.<em></em></p><p><strong><em></em></strong><em><br /></em></p>

AbstractHaemaphysalis longicornis, the Asian longhorned (or bush) tick has been detected on a sheep in August 2017 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. By October 26, 2018, this tick has been detected in 44 counties in 9 states along the Atlantic coast of the United States, with the first detection backdated to 2010. Here, I use a simple rule-based climate envelope model, based on a prior analysis in New Zealand, to provide a preliminary analysis of the potential range of this introduced tick species in North America. After validating this model against the counties where the tick has been already detected, I highlight the counties where this tick might cause considerable economic harm. I discuss the many limitations of this simple approach, and potential remedies for these limitations, and more sophisticated approaches. Finally, I conclude that substantial areas of the US, especially along the Gulf and Atlantic coast, are suitable for the establishment of this tick, putting millions of heads of livestock potentially at risk.

Process selection as a part of CAPP has captured significant attention in CAPP research. Procedures have been developed for backward and forward algorithms in process selection. Most of these procedures lack the complete integration of process selection into CAPP system. In this paper, we present the results of the development and prototype implementation for process selection module for hole making operations for integration with Math Based Manufacturing System already in use in industrial partner. We have developed architecture and implemented module for rule-based machining process selection of hole making operations. The architecture enables the interface from the Process Selection prototype to Math Based Manufacturing System (APPS). The prototype also includes the user interface for interaction with the process selection procedure. Actions for starting prototype from APPS, performing process selection steps and sending the result back to APPS have been developed and implemented.
