Background/Aims: There have been many studies on the etiology of osteoarthritis (OA) with regard to the function of inflammatory cytokines, the process of cartilage degradation, the function of miR-146a, hypoxia stimulation and autophagy in OA chondrocytes, but there have been no reports on the relationship between miR-146a and autophagy in cartilage, especially under hypoxia. This study aimed to confirm the relationship of miR-146a and autophagy in cartilage under hypoxia. Methods: Chondrocytes were treated by hypoxia gradients, and the main factors including HIF-1α, HIF-2α, miR-146a and Bcl-2 and autophagy markers ULK-1, ATG-5 were detected by quantitative PCR (Q-PCR) and western blotting. The autophagy marker LC-3 was detected by immunofluorescence. The reciprocal effects between miR-146a and Bcl-2 were confirmed by several combinations of shRNAs and adenovirus-gene systems followed by Q-PCR and western blot detection. Results: Hypoxia maintained the chondrocytes phenotype and promoted autophagy and miR-146a expression via HIF-1α, but not HIF-2α, while miR-146a did not reversely affect HIF-1α. The autophagy induced by hypoxia through HIF-1α, miR-146a and Bcl-2. Simply, hypoxia induced HIF-1α, and HIF-1α increased miR-146a, but miR-146a suppressed Bcl-2, an autophagy inhibitor. While Bcl-2 affected neither HIF-1α nor miR-146a. The absence of both HIF-1α and miR-146a or Bcl-2 over-expression inhibited hypoxia-induced autophagy. Conclusion: HIF-1α, miR-146a and Bcl-2 play crucial roles during hypoxia-induced autophagy, Hypoxia, HIF-1α and miR-146a promote chondrocytes autophagy via depressing Bcl-2. We conclude that miR-146a may serve as a novel therapeutic target for protecting cartilage from degeneration in OA.

This research is aimed at understanding the relationship of leadership style and compensation on employee performance at PT SSBP considering that the two independent variables are the main factors that determines the success of a company as general as well as PT SSBP. The research obtained data from 144 respondents out of 210 total employees. A questionnaire was prepared to catch their perception on leadership style and compensation and how they affect their performance in the company they work with. From the data obtained and the analysis result shows that the relationship and the contribution of leadership style and compensation on the performance of employees is strong and significant, either partially or simultaneously. Therefore as managerial instruments, leadership style and compensation are extremely important factors to be considered and continuously updated in order to keep and maintain employees motivation that in turn will boost their performance,

Subject. This article raises the urgent problem of developing and increasing Russia's innovation competitiveness by improving the management of human resources in conditions of uncertainty and instability of the external environment associated with the sanctions and economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Objectives. The article aims to propose strategic areas for the development and improvement of Russia's innovation competitiveness, recommendations and a programme to improve human resources management. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of analysis, information sampling and grouping. Results. The article describes the relationship of human capital with traditional concepts that characterize human labor activity and offers certain recommendations for the development and improvement of Russia's innovation competitiveness and human resources management. Conclusions. The provision of highly qualified labor power at all levels of management and categories of staff of organizations, the motivation and forms of work are the main factors in the advancement of the country's competitiveness.

The results of analysis of the relationship of structure and mechanical properties of ductile cast ironpots with globular graphite form, experience and perspectives of their industrial application. It is shown thatthe growth in the production of castings of ductile iron is caused exclusively by a favorable combination ofphysical, mechanical, operational and technological properties of this material, as well as economicconsiderations.The main factors regulating the cast structure and level of physical, mechanical and operationalcharacteristics of ductile iron are: the quality of the initial melt modification modes (including composition,quantity, method and sequence of input and additives), chemical composition and rate of solidification of themetal.Heat treatment of ductile iron is more effective than iron with lamellar graphite , since graphitespherical than weakens the metal substrate than the plate . Castings from nodular iron are exposed tovarious types of heat treatment. The purpose of heat treatment - structurally free cementite decomposition inrelatively thin sections of the casting ( graphitizing joke ) or hardening of pearlite matrix ( normalization).Can be used combined heat treatment, the purpose of pursuing the expansion of structurally free cementitewith subsequent normalization.

The article outlines the main directions of theoretical discussions on the possibility of objective and value-neutral sociological knowledge and in general, the relationship of scientific knowledge with value positions. The ideas on the connection between the directions of research and the nature of sociological theorizing depending on the position of the sociologist in society and the scientific environment are considered. The article uses ideas of basic and domain preconditions of A. Gouldner, academic field of P. Bourdieu, sociological imagination and directions of sociology according to Ch.R. Mills, the correlation of sociological theorizing with the historical social demand of P. Shtompka and others. to describe the main factors that influence the interest of the sociologist as a researcher. A sociologist, in relation to a particular social phenomenon as an object of study, acts as a researcher and as a participant in this social reality. At the same time, different positions of researchers cause changes in the sociological science itself. The analysis of higher education (HE) inRussiafocuses on the complicated issues of the relationships between higher education institutions (HEIs) and provincial cities. The authors characterize different typologies of Russian HEIs and cities. It is suggested to distinguish between the HEIs related to the core of HE, semi-periphery, and to the periphery. The situation of peripheral HEIs that are located mainly in provincial cities seems to be the most complicated. Recently, about 300 HEIs and more than 800 branches of universities, a significant part of which belongs to the peripheral group, ceased to exist autonomously. Today the fate of some other provincial HEIs is yet to be defined. Meanwhile, the future of the young people is also tied to the HEIs’s destiny as well as the future of the cities’ population, where they are located. The analysis of the materials based on the authors’ empirical research conducted in the Ural Federal District (UFD) revealed that the elimination of autonomous universities, their transformation into branches and weakening in such a way of the HE in the medium, big and even large cities of the Russian province lead to stagnation and depression of these cities. One of the main factors of this situation is the mass educational migration of young people. The study discusses certain ideas for positive solution of these problems regarding the relationship of provincial Russian universities and cities, which could lead to their preservation and development.

The article is devoted to the problems of disturbed lands that are part of urban territories, the need for reclamation and the creation of recreational spaces based on them. There are a large number of quarries on the territory of the Belgorod region, many of which are no longer functioning and they need to be transformed. The work in this direction entails an improvement in the environmental situation, increases the quality of the urban environment and makes these objects attractive for investment. The authors consider the main factors affecting the reclamation of the territory, analyze the types of soil and identify the relationship of geodesy with the architectural component of reclamation, present foreign and domestic experience in solving problems related to disturbed lands, comply a table of the main quarries of the Belgorod region in order to identify features characteristic of this region. As a result of the research, proposals and methods are put forward, taking into account regional peculiarities, for the reclamation of a chalk quarry in order to create a recreational space and then integrate it into the forest park framework in Belgorod, which will lead to an improvement in the environmental situation and aesthetic perception of the city as a whole.

Rice Color Sorter plays an important role in the postharvest rice processing assembly. The quality and price of rice export will be increased by using this machine for classifying finished-rice. This paper presents the designing, the slide–adjustment structure and the position of nozzles for a rice color sorter machine. Slides, nozzles and materials-catching slide are main factors in classifying-component of Rice Color Sorter. The relative positions of these factors will decide the accuracy and response-ability of identification process using the high speed CCD camera. Moreover, the relationship of parameters decides the relative distance between devices in classifying-component of Rice Color Sorter with a standard-work mode. It also gives suitable-adjustment-structures for Rice Color Sorter responding the best image-identifying-control module of CCD camera.

The characteristic of soil is one of the main factors that influence the modal parameters of retaining wall. This paper analyzes the influence to modal parameters of retaining wall by the elastic modulus of soil. Due to the complexity of the interaction of soil and retaining wall and based on the three-dimensional numerical test, dynamic response signals of retaining wall are obtained, processing of which and identification of modal parameters lead to the modal parameters of retaining wall. Lastly, vibration characteristic, frequency characteristic and the relationship of frequency and elastic modulus are also obtained.Therefore, the real elastic modulus of soil is gained by response signals in practical projects, and the degree of soil compaction can be pre-judged.

This study was conducted to know about the dimension that three main factors becomes the objective of the study, namely knowledge, practice and skills. The study also aims to see how far the relationship of these factors in entrepreneurial field. The data obtained from review literature from various characters found from internet sources, namely, journal, thesis collection, theory of entrepreneurship book collection in the library and also access information online database using a web of university. Based on the research, the result show that three elements knowledge, practice and skills is most important for our lecturer and student to gain experience and more success in entrepreneurial field.
