The life development and increase the number of internet users imposed an increase in data circulating on the internet network and then make the network more congestion. As a result of all this, some problems arose such as time delay in packets delivery, loss of packets, and exceed the buffer capacity for the middle routers. To overcome those problems, transmission control protocol and active queue management (TCP/AQM) have been used. AQM is the main approach used to control congestion and overcome those problems to improve network performance. This work proposes to use the proportional-integral (PI) controller with a genetic algorithm (GA) as an active queue manager for routers of the Internet. The simulation results show a good performance for managing the congestion with using proportional-integral genetic algorithm (GA-PI) controller better than the PI controller.

Along with the development of technology, especially computers and the internet, we can get information more easily. This also encourages the number of computer and internet users to grow. Especially in the SMK ASY-SYARIFIY IBS PANDANWANGI, the number of students and employees who use the internet is increasing from time to time. The increase in users using the network will cause the existing network infrastructure to be further improved so as not to disappoint users due to decreased network performance. VLAN is a technology that allows a LAN to be divided into several different domains. VLANs also allow the joining of networks that are separate locations, but seem to be located in the same domain. Research on the use of VLANs in the laboratory environment of SMK ASY-SYARIFY IBS PANDANWANGI provides results that VLAN is can improve network performance, share networks based on certain conditions, simplify management, minimize costs, and apply security methods.

This work described in the paper to show the implementation of Proportional Integral (PI) controller, Genetic algorithm based PI (GAPI), and Particle swarm optimization based PI (PSO-PI) for a Quarter Car System. The trip comfort is developed by means of the decrease of the body acceleration caused by the car body, due to the smoothness of the road. This paper tells about the model and controllers used in the study and discuss the vehicle response results. In the conclusion, a comparison of PI, GA-PI, and PSO-PI is shown using MATLAB simulations.

Routers have important functions in the network, especially the internet. Routers can connect several network segments so that they can communicate with other users even though they are separated by a great distance (Sofana, 2013). IPv4 was originally a 32-bit binary number that was used to identify hosts on the network, after successful use by internet users then a new problem arises where IPv4 cannot accommodate Internet users in the future because it runs out of IPv4 addresses. Then IPv6 was created with the aim to provide more addressing than IPv4 (Sugeng, 2015). The problem is seen from the difference in the bit width between IPv4 and IPv6 whether it affects the CPU performance of the computer and the performance of data sent, average speed on the network. Then there will be research on the comparative performance of the CPU load and the performance of the data sent, the average speed of the computer network on the implementation of IPv4 and IPv6 using Passmark Advance Network Test. So that it can provide an overview of the results of the comparison of IPv4 and IPv6 QoS that are better than the 3 parameters tested with TCP and UDP protocols

Perbandingan adalah berdasarkan prestasi time response. Kata kunci: Penalaan proportional integral tuning; imulated annealing; genetic algorithm This paper introduces the application of a stochastic search technique, known as Simulated Annealing to the problem of tuning the proportional–integral controller for a linearized coupled tank liquid level control. After describing the basic principles of the Simulated Annealing, the proposed method concentrates on finding the optimal solution of PI controller by optimizing the performance index, the Integral Time Absolute Error, ITAE. The efficiency of Simulated Annealing algorithm for tuning the controller is compared with an evolutionary method, Genetic Algorithm. The comparison is based on the time response performance. The results shows the effectiveness and the capability of the SA to tune the proportional–integral (PI) controller for the coupled tank liquid level control. The proposed method does not depend on the system order and has the ability to tune the controller even there is unknown process parameters. In addition, the technique avoids the requirement for mathematical modeling of the system and the overall results have shown that SA yields better performance as compared to GA, hence, it is recommended for an alternative for optimizing the PI controller. Key words: Proportional integral tuning; simulated annealing; genetic algorithm

Background: Previous studies have shown that suicide-related Internet use can have both negative and positive psychological effects. Aims: This study examined the effect of suicide-related Internet use on users’ suicidal ideation, depression/anxiety tendency, and loneliness. Method: A two-wave panel study of 850 Internet users was conducted via the Internet. Results: Suicide-related Internet use (e.g., browsing websites about suicide methods) had negative effects on suicidal ideation and depression/anxiety tendency. No forms of suicide-related Internet use, even those that would generally be considered positive, were found to decrease users’ suicidal ideation. In addition, our results suggest that the greater the suicidal ideation and feelings of depression and loneliness of Internet users, the more they used the Internet. Conclusion: Since suicide-related Internet use can adversely influence the mental health of young adults, it is necessary to take measures to reduce their exposure to such information.

Abstract:The internet developed for the first time in Indonesia in the early 1990s. Starting from the pagayuban network, it is now expanding without boundaries anywhere. A survey conducted by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) said that the number of internet users in Indonesia in 2012 reached 63 million people or 24.23 percent of the country's total population. Next year, that figure is predicted to increase by close to 30 percent to 82 million users and continue to grow to 107 million in 2014 and 139 million or 50 percent of the total population in 2015. million people. This matter also results in political communication with the internet media, or is often said to be cyber politics. Cyber politics in Indonesia has faced growth in recent years. There are many facilities that support the growth of cyber politics, such as Facebook, Twitter, mailing list, YouTube, and others. Keywords: Cyberpolitik, Internet  Abstrak:Internet berkembang pertama kali di Indonesia pada awal tahun 1990-an. <p> </p> <p>the present study deals with a more detailed, and updated, modified model that allows for the identification of internet usage patterns by gender. The model was modified due to the development of the internet and new access models, on the one hand, and to the fact that previous studies mainly focuses on various individual (non-interactive) influences of certain factors, on the other.</p> <i></i><u></u> <p>The Decision Tree (DT) method, which is used in our study, does not require a pre-defined underlying relationship. In addition, the method allows a great many explanatory variables to be processed and the most important variables are easy to identify. </p><p>Obtained results can serve as to web developers and designers, since by indicating the differences between male and female internet users in terms of their behaviour on the internet it can help in deciding when, where and how to address and appeal to which section of the user base. It is especially important to know their online preferences in order to enable the adequate and targeted placement of information, actions or products and services for the intended target groups.</p><p> <b></b><i></i><u></u><br></p>

There is a tendency, particularly among Western pundits and technologists, to examine the Internet in almost universally positive terms; this is most evident in any discussion of the medium’s capacity for democratization. While the Internet has produced many great things for society in terms of cultural and economic production, some consideration must be given to the implications that such a revolutionary medium holds for the public sphere. By creating a communicative space that essentially grants everyone his or her own microphone, the Internet is fragmenting public discourse due to the proliferation of opinions and messages and the removal of traditional gatekeepers of information. More significantly, because of the structural qualities of the Internet, users no longer have to expose themselves to opinions and viewpoints that fall outside their own preconceived notions. This limits the robustness of the public sphere by limiting the healthy debate that can only occur when exposed to multiple viewpoints. Ultimately, the Internet is not going anywhere, so it is important to equip the public with the tools and knowledge to be able to navigate the digital space.
