AbstractAlthough even small volumes (15–20 min) of daily physical activity (PA) are associated with health benefits, the optimal volume for healthy aging and longevity is substantially larger, amounting to about 100 min of daily moderate PA. The accomplishment of this objective likely requires the development of an appropriate PA lifestyle at an early age. Research initiatives are necessary addressing the motivational contribution of families, school surroundings and sport clubs, perhaps combined with role model effects and instructions for the specific implementation. Such approaches would need an enlarged agreement in readdressing this new aim followed by the launch of a new research strategy in order to develop specific offers for the respective age cohorts.

<p>One of the important parts relating to education for children is teaching da’wah since their early age, so that it becomes a habit for their life till they reach adulthood. Da'wah  is regarded as a good process of education and  it really should refer to the Islamic values which is implemented to children since early age. If this education process can run well, it would generate younger generations who have strong commitment. Introducing da’wah in early childhood requires extra patience to understand the child's condition; like the pra-formal operational stage of cognitive growth process, so that it requires easily understandable methods for children in its implementation.  There are some methods to introduce da’wah for children; namely singing, role model, role playing, field trips, poetry, and speeches.</p><p align="center"><strong>***</strong></p><p>Salah satu bagian penting yang harus mendapatkan perhatian terkait dengan pendidikan yang diberikan sejak usia dini adalah mengajarkan dakwah pada anak sejak dini, sehingga  dakwah sudah menjadi kebiasaan dan menjadi bagian hidup anak ketika dewasa. Dakwah dipandang sebagai proses pendidikan yang baik dan benar-benar harus mengacu pada nilai-nilai Islam yang diterapkan sedini mungkin kepada anak-anak. Apabila proses tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik, maka akan  muncul generasi muda yang memiliki komitmen yang kuat. Untuk mengenalkan dakwah pada anak usia dini membutuhkan kesabaran yang ekstra dengan memahami kondisi anak misalnya proses pertumbuhan kognitifnya yang masih dalam tahap pra operasional formal, sehingga membutuhkan metode dalam aplikasinya yang mudah difahami anak. Metode dalam mengenalkan dakwah pada anak melalui bernyanyi, tauladan, bermain peran, karya wisata, bersyair, dan berpidato.</p>

The involvement of young people in the planning of research continues to be rare, particularly for young people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. This paper describes our experience in establishing a Youth Research Advisory Group (YRAG) in South West Sydney (SWS), including barriers and successful strategies. One hundred and fifteen students between school Years 7 and 12 (ages 11–18) took part in at least one of five sessions between 2019 and 2021. In total, we carried out 26 YRAG sessions, with between five and 30 students in each. Sessions focused on mapping the health priorities of the participants and co-developing research project proposals related to their health priorities. Our work with students revealed that their main areas of concern were mental health and stress. This led to material changes in our research strategy, to include “Mental Health” as a new research stream and co-develop new mental health-related projects with the students. Important strategies that enabled our research included maintaining flexibility to work seamlessly with organisational and individual preferences, and ensuring our processes were directed by the schools and—most importantly—the students themselves. Strategies such as maintaining an informal context, responding rapidly to student preference, and regularly renegotiating access enabled us to engage with the students to deepen our understanding of their experiences.

Regular physical exercise and a healthy diet are major determinants of a healthy lifespan. Although aging is associated with declining endurance performance and muscle function, these components can favorably be modified by regular physical activity and especially by exercise training at all ages in both sexes. In addition, age-related changes in body composition and metabolism, which affect even highly trained masters athletes, can in part be compensated for by higher exercise metabolic efficiency in active individuals. Accordingly, masters athletes are often considered as a role model for healthy aging and their physical capacities are an impressive example of what is possible in aging individuals. In the present review, we first discuss physiological changes, performance and trainability of older athletes with a focus on sex differences. Second, we describe the most important hormonal alterations occurring during aging pertaining regulation of appetite, glucose homeostasis and energy expenditure and the modulatory role of exercise training. The third part highlights nutritional aspects that may support health and physical performance for older athletes. Key nutrition-related concerns include the need for adequate energy and protein intake for preventing low bone and muscle mass and a higher demand for specific nutrients (e.g., vitamin D and probiotics) that may reduce the infection burden in masters athletes. Fourth, we present important research findings on the association between exercise, nutrition and the microbiota, which represents a rapidly developing field in sports nutrition.

Purpose of Proposal. A consolidated framework is proposed to highlight modifiable factors in work organizations that may contribute to alcohol-related problems. This research model serves to organize existing knowledge, highlight pathways for new research initiatives, and offer insights into the design of primary and secondary preventive strategies. Contributing Influences. Current research on problem drinking in the workplace either locates problems in individual drinkers or looks to the social environment to understand how drinking problems unfold. There is a clear need for a more complete theoretical model which incorporates social, cultural, organizational, and personal factors. Proposal Summary. This article elaborates on a model for examining problem drinking at work which integrates policy, normative, and psychosocial influences. It emphasizes the structures within which health-related decisions and actions are contained and constrained. The focus here on the connections between alcohol use and work builds on the premise that health is socially produced.

A chronic inflammatory state is a major characteristic of the aging process, and physical activity is proposed as a key component for healthy aging. Our aim was to evaluate the body composition, hypertension, lipid profile, and inflammatory status of older adults, and these factors’ association with physical activity. A total of 116 elderly volunteers were categorized into terciles of quantitative metabolic equivalents of task (MET). Subjects in the first and third terciles were defined as sedentary and active subjects, respectively. Anthropometric and biochemical parameters, hemograms, and inflammatory markers were measured in plasma or peripheral mononuclear blood cells (PBMCs). The active groups exercised more than their sedentary counterparts. The practice of physical activity was accompanied by lower weight, fat mass, body mass index, and diastolic blood pressure when compared to a more sedentary life-style. Physical activity also lowered the haematocrit and total leukocyte, neutrophil, and lymphocyte counts. The practice of exercise induced a decrease in the IL-6 circulating levels and the TLR2 protein levels in PBMCs, while the expression of the anti-inflammatory IL-10 was activated in active subjects. The regular practice of physical activity exerts beneficial effects on body composition and the anti-inflammatory status of old people.

For more than half a century fellows of the National Academy of Kinesiology have enthusiastically advocated for the promotion and adoption of physically active lifestyles as an affordable and effective means to prevent chronic diseases and conditions, and enhance independence and high quality of life for older adults. It is possible to discern distinct evolutionary stages when examining scholarship related to the role of physical activity in the promotion of healthy aging. Research into physical activity and aging began with critical early studies that established the underlying scientific evidence for a relationship between physical activity and healthy aging. More recent work has addressed such topics as building consumer demand, developing policies and legislation to support active aging, and understanding the complex interrelationships between physical activity and other lifestyle factors in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and conditions. It is increasingly apparent that strategies to promote active and successful aging must be integrated into an effective public policy. Kinesiologists and other health professionals, working in collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines, can help to reduce risk factors for chronic disease and improve quality of life for older adults by building awareness of the importance of physical activity and by assisting with the development and implementation of appropriate and effective interventions that reduce risk factors and improve quality of life.

En las últimas décadas se observan cambios demográficos significativos, se observa una tendencia progresiva en cuanto al envejecimiento de la población, la longevidad se trata de una característica presente en nuestra sociedad. Dicho cambio está propiciando el desarrollo de diversas políticas orientadas a fomentar un envejecimiento activo y saludable, teniendo en cuenta los beneficios de la actividad física para su promoción. El principal objetivo de este estudio se centra en realizar una revisión sistemática de estudios sobre la incidencia positiva de la actividad física en el bienestar de las personas mayores asociado a un envejecimiento saludable. Para ello, se utilizaron los estudios recogidos en la colección principal de la base de datos Web of Science, seleccionando las revistas con mayor índice de impacto. La muestra consta de 15 artículos, los cuales se estudian a fondo para desglosar la información más relevante. Los artículos han sido seleccionados teniendo en cuenta las siguientes variables: objetivos, diseño, muestra e instrumentos y resultados. Los artículos analizados muestran que la práctica diaria de actividad física incrementa los niveles de autoestima e incide en la felicidad de los mayores, además de contribuir a mejorar la capacidad para el autocuidado, favorecer la integración del esquema corporal y facilitar las relaciones intergeneracionales, entre otros aspectos positivos. Es necesario promover un envejecimiento activo y saludable en mayores basado en la promoción de la actividad física. Abstract: A significant change is taking place nowadays, i.e. the progressive tendency to aging of the elderly population: longevity is a very latent characteristic in our society. This change is favoring the development of various policies for the preparation of the population towards an active and healthy aging, taking into account the benefits of physical activity for its promotion. The main objective of this study is to review the bibliography on the positive impact of physical activity on elders’ well-being associated with healthy aging. Studies collected in the Web of Science database were chosen from those journals with the highest impact index. The sample consisted of 15 articles, which were thoroughly studied so to break down the most relevant information. The articles were selected taking into account the following variables: objectives, design, sample and instruments, and results. The analyzed articles showed how daily practice of physical activity increases self-esteem levels, affects elderly’s happiness, contributes to improving self-care competence, promotes corporal scheme integration, facilitates intergenerational relations, increases social participation, creates positive changes in lifestyle, improves sleep quality, reduces anxiety, stress, depression and insomnia, and reinforces intellectual activity due to good cerebral oxygenation, among other effects. In the third age it is necessary to promote an active and healthy aging based on the promotion of physical activity.

Introduction: Health behaviors are fundamental for healthy aging. In this sense, the practice of physical activity is one of the most beneficial factors for the health of individuals. Objective: To describe the prevalence of leisure-time physical activity among the older adults and analyze in terms of sociodemographic characteristics, national regions, Federative Units of Brazil, and types of physical activity practiced. Methods: Study utilizing data from the Brazilian National Health Survey - 2013. Leisure-time physical activity was analyzed with two distinct cutoff points: 1) Some physical activity - 10 or more minutes/week; 2) Meeting recommended 150 minutes/week of physical activity. Results: Nearly 21% of the older adults completed some physical activity, and 13.2% reached the physical activity recommendations. There was no difference in the prevalence of physical activity between men and women. Individuals aged 60-69 years and those with higher income were more active than their peers. As for the national regions, the North had the lowest prevalence of physically active older adults. Among all regions, walking was the most frequent form of physical activity practiced. Conclusion: The prevalence of older adults who practiced some physical activity and reached the physical activity recommendations was low, with walking being the most common form of physical activity. Older adults with higher age, low socioeconomic status and from the Northern Brazilian regions were the least active.

Having children who has a good character is every parent wish. For having this good character its need to be done from early age. All the parents has an important role on building this character to their children. Children as a good imitators will do what they see, so that the parent in this case need to be a good role model to the children. Like a wise words say an apple never fall far from the tree, so its mean childrens is the reflection of their childrens. If we want to have children with good character so the parent must have a good character too. So that the parent has a main role to building this early age children. Every child is like a clean white paper, they will follow every direction that been given to them. Not only the parents, school and the environtment having a huge role to building this children character. But back again if the parents already put the values of the good character the children wont absorb other influence from their environment. So it means that father and mother roles in the family becoming the most important things on this children character building. Other than that the parent responsibilities to their children character building need to be their main concern.

The article brings about another attempt to reconstruct the shape of house No. 4 from Kościeliska, Olesno district (Hedwigstein, Kr. Rosenberg) within the context of arcaded houses noticed at the Przeworsk culture settlements. The undertaken analysis makes possible a reinterpretation of the already published materials and proposes a new research strategy that addresses this issue more efficiently. This makes it possible to prove the existence of comer arcades in the architecture of the Przeworsk culture.
