Chain- disc conveyors are widely used in the organization of the distribution of fodder for livestock farms of different types due to the simplicity of design and high reliability conveyors of this type. The portion of mixed fodder, transported by chain- disc transporter, is characterized by the following geometric parameters: the length of the l1and l2sections, the angle forming the bulk of the slope, the radius R of the cylindrical part of the piece is equal to the radius of the conveyor fodder line. In accordance with the kinds of the transported forms of the bulk of the body, the mode of the chain- disk conveyor can be divided into three types: an unloaded conveyor, loaded conveyor, overloaded conveyor. The volume of fodder portions may be expressed as a function of the length of the cylindrical portion l1. When fodder’s driving on a gently sloping portions of conveyor sections, this function will have a different appearance under different loading modes. With the change in the angle of the conveyor, the character depending on the length of the cylindrical portion is not changed, only change the boundaries of reality functions for different boot modes. At the angle of inclination of the conveyor х = 400, the total angle of the slope forming the bulk φ+х = 900, i.e., the forming plane flatness becomes perpendicular to the axis of the conveyor, and a granular body takes the form of a cylinder. With such tilted of transporter, body particulate volume is a linear function of its length, and the conveyor operates in the linear regime only boot.

The article considers the issues of analysis of the patterns of operation of the loadbearingelements of the body of carriage. A comparative analysis of the size and nature of theoperation of structural elements of carriages of different types and years of their construction. In recent years, there has been a significant aging of the operational fleet of carriage. Atnowadays, carriages of various models and their modifications with an extended service life, whichis approaching the limit, are in operation on the railway network of Ukraine. The technical, economic and ecological indicators of transport, the degree of reliability andtraffic safety depend on the age of the carriages. At nowadays, the level of development of technicalmeans and technology of repair and restoration of rolling stock is increasing fast.To increase the competitiveness of rail passenger transport, it is necessary to overcome thehigh degree of wear of the carriages fleet of JSC «Ukrzaliznytsia». Because of the lack of domesticand the complete absence of foreign investment in the railways, the tendency to increase physicaldepreciation and obsolescence of fixed assets is progressing. According to the data of the branch of«Passenger Company» JSC «Ukrzaliznytsia» in 2020 the inventory includes is almost 5 thousandcarriages, most of which have served their intended service life. As a result, the current wear of thecarriages fleet is approaching 92 %.Most of the carriages fleet was built in the 70s and 90s of the last century at car plants inGermany and Russia. Due to the constant lack of funding, the fleet of carriages of JSC«Ukrzaliznytsia»was renewed at a slow pace. Every year the carriages fleet wears out and ages. Thisreduces the competitiveness of railways, which negatively effects on quantity of passenger traffic.Naturally, carriages should not only create the necessary level of comfort, but also ensure trafficsafety and high reliability in operation. The results of the study made it possible to consider the issueof further use of carriages, which are most affected by corrosion.

The assessment and dynamic control over students’ status is a very important task. It allows timely detection of prenosological status prior to pathology and health maintenance in students. The objective of the paper is to assess the adaptive abilities of the body, to analyze changes in heart rate variability indicators in students with various types of autonomic regulation, to identify prenosological status and precursory pathological symptoms. Materials and Methods. The study enrolled 302 students from India, aged 21.54±1.43. Programming complex «Psychophysiologist» was used to register the main HRV parameters within 5 minutes. Health status was evaluated according to the index of functional changes and the scale of functional states. Results. N.I. Shlyk (2009) distinguished two groups of students with different types of autonomic regulation: type 1 (53 %) with moderate and type 2 (5 %) with marked characteristics of central regulation profile, type 3 (35 %) with moderate and type 4 (7 %) with marked characteristics of autonomous regulation profile. Main parameters of HRV and adaptation potential were defined for each student. All the parameters characterized functional and health status. Conclusions. It was shown that 82 % of trial subjects (type 1), 53 % (type 2), 94 % (type 3) and 95 % (type 4) demonstrated satisfactory adaptation and their physiological processes were at an optimal level. 18 % of students (type 1) demonstrated reduced adaptive abilities of the body. Moreover, they were under moderate stress. 47 % of subjects (type 2) were also under a significant stress, which was proven by excessively high SI, low SDNN and TP, and an increased index of functional changes. 5 % of students (type 4) revealed dysfunctional characteristics in the heart rhythm, peculiar to pathology. Keywords: foreign students, heart rate variability, types of autonomic regulation, adaptation potential, functional status.

Most safety related valves in EDF’s nuclear plant must prove their ability to sustain thermal shocks of approximately 240K amplitude. This paper evaluates the simulation of a globe valve tested for thermal shocks. Since the physical test campaign showed inadequate internal sealing, the simulation focuses on the residual deformation of the hard alloy, planar seat, welded on successive body designs. This deformation is the result of the thermal loadings first induced by the welding process, then by fluid flow inside the valve. A chain of 3D simulations successively computes: a welding temperature transient in the body, the resulting strain hardening — especially in the seat vicinity —; temperature transients in the flow and the valve parts, and the resulting strains in the body causing a bump deformation of the seat surface. This end result agrees with measurements on the tested valve specimen. We show that inaccurate results are obtained on simpler assumptions, such as no welding, and we give insights on the dominant effect of the first hot, cold, hot transient over other profiles. Finally, the agreement we obtain on deformation predictions is toned down by an unsatisfactory sealing prediction, as well as the complexity and duration of the simulation chain compared with physical testing.

The Bodies’ Poetry: Eva Runefelt, Eva Ström and Swedish Poetry in the Late 1970’s In the mid 1970’s a new type of poetry, associated with the body, emerged in Sweden. Especially young women writers appeared to take Swedish poetry in new aesthetic directions, exploring questions regarding experience and language. This article focuses on two prominent writers, Eva Runefelt and Eva Ström, and discusses how their different types of poetry can be said to be a bodies’ poetry, and how it was discussed in contemporary literary critique. It also reflects on why this strand of poetry has been granted such a peripheral place in literary history.

Abstract: The theory distinguishes human based on four different personality types such as: sanguine, choleric, melancholic, and phlegmatic. Different types of personality caused by differences in the dominant fluid in the body. These differences will result in terms of behavior, ways of thinking and to get along. The type of this research that is descriptive qualitative which it is describing the logical reasoning based on Hippocrates personality types. The logical reasoning is analyzed through the four types of personality in relation to mathematical problem solving. The Analysis is done based on the logical reasoning indicator/ subindicator and the steps of problem solving stated by Polya. The result shows that there is a reasoning difference on each type of personalities. The difference can be terms of the strenght or the weakness. Sanguine is quicker in understanding problems and communicating results, choleric is more accelerated in work, melancholic is more perfect at work, and  phlegmatic is superior in terms of accuracy. Keywords: Logical reasoning, Hippocrates, sanguine, choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic

Massage is the manipulation of the body tissues by using techniques, such as rubbing, kneading, pressing, and rolling to sustain a state of health and wellness. Massage is one of the oldest and most natural healing applications in human history. Avicenna (980 – 1037) gained a very important position in the medical world with his most important work, the Canon of Medicine, known as the holy book of medicine in the Western world. Different types of massage were defined in the book. These were hard friction that braces the body, soft friction that relaxes the body, repeated friction that reduces the amount of fat in the body, moderately hard friction that improves the body, rough friction that leads the blood to the surface rapidly, gentle friction that increases blood flow in the application area, preparatory friction that prepares the body before exercise, and restorative friction that is applied after exercise which alleviates exhaustion. It may be seen that Avicenna, whose work shows influence of Greek and Roman physicians, was heavily influenced by Hippocrates and Galen. It is seen that the massage techniques and effect mechanisms defined by Avicenna about a thousand years ago have contributed a lot to the developments in massage through the historical process.

Sleep disorders have become nowadays one of the most important health issues in the community; they will affect many functions of the body and regular physical activities. The goal of our research is implementation improvement of the software for polysomnography signal analysis based on AASM standards published in 2014 to create a comprehensive assessment method for different abnormalities or pathologic symptoms. By using a combination of different learning machine algorithms, program can flexibly update threshold and characteristics of polysomnography signal for each people and reduce errors in calculated results. The program is designed with friendly user interface without support of other special software. The results checked by comparative measurements with other facilities showed high reliability, which give the similarity over 83% for all data. The most advantage of the software is the ability to synchronize data and analysis results with other systems. Program can be decomposed in block modules, which can be easily integrated with other equipment to make independent and continuous diagnostic systems.

Rhubarb is one of the Chinese traditional medicines. About ninety-four compounds with five different types of skeletons (anthraquinone, anthrones, stilbenes, flavonoids and acylglucosides) have been isolated from rhubarb so far. These constituents are effective in purgative, clearing heat-fire, removing toxic materials from the body, cooling blood and promoting blood circulation. Recent studies have shown that the appropriate processing methods may directly impact on its nutraceutical activities and chemical compositions. Here, we summarize the update progress in the chemical compositions, pharmacological activities and processing methods of rhubarb.

ABSTRACT The proportion of two allelic mutant forms of a haploid species can be calculated from six quantities, the original proportion, the two effective growth rate constants, the two mutation rate constants for the transition from one to the other, and the elapsed time. With a program for carrying out this calculation in a mini-computer, we set about investigating the rates of exploration of multiple intragene changes in populations of enormous numbers over a large number of cell generations. It seemed evident from the outset that unless in the past very different proportions of the different types of mutational changes occurred, then neither the numbers nor the times could have been of sufficient magnitude to account for enzyme evolution by multiple simultaneous changes within a gene to yield a superior protein. Rather, we propose that the more rapid path of enzyme evolution consisted of the sequence: 1) gene duplication, 2) inactivation of a gene copy by a chain-terminating mutation or other mutational change which suppresses transcription and/or translation, 3) multiple base-pair changes and/or small deletions and additions within the non-functioning gene, and finally, 4) reversion of the mutation which was suppressing translation. It is shown that this path will lead to faster advance, if the selective advantages of different forms are dependent on the function of the gene products at certain times in history, while at other times, although this function may be necessary, it is not limiting for growth.
