The literature on the limitations on the current archaic education system is limitless, the consequences of which have only been exacerbated in the current lockdown scenario. The timed evaluations have not only failed as an assessment tool during these times but research has shown there are increased rates of using unfair means and proctoring as a result. Not only was the system faulty to begin with, it is failing miserably under current lockdown situations. Simultaneously the current literature keeps positing that since technology has become an integral part of our life already, it would not be long before technology integrates with education and assessments. Taking into consideration the need and potential of an integrative system, this paper aims to explore how artificial intelligence can be effectively introduced into education and improve learning outcomes. The paper performs a Comprehensive Literature Review (CLR), and analyses data based on the framework developed by Onwuegbuzie and Frels (2015). The paper thus reviews literature with the aim to explore current models of AIEd and relevant psychological concepts relating to learning and career outcomes.

The last six months have been marked by the worldwide spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) which has triggered a global pandemic crisis. Thus, among the most affected fields of activity is education, educational institutions being forced to transfer all the curricular activities in the online environment, by using various digital tools and also Social Media. Due the rapidly spreading of the novel coronavirus, since the beginning of this year, thousands of higher education institutions around the world have been gradually constrained by local gouvernments and public authorities to replace traditional in-person educational activities with distance education, mediated by the digital environment. In turn, the Romanian educational system, as in the case of other countries, has been forced to respond promptly to the arising pandemic crisis challenges. Over the past decades, several researchers from various scientific fields have shown a growing interest in studying the ways in which technology (Marchello and Kelly, 1989), information and communication technology – ICT (Campbell, 2006; Aczel and Hardy, 2007; Saadik, 2008) or digital tools (Säljö, 2010) can be successfully integrated into curricular activities. Nowadays, all these contributions acquire a special significance, once the educational system has had to adapt, willingly or unwillingly, to the current context. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to present several results of an exploratory quantitative sociological research conducted between 26th of March - 20th of April  2020, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, on a sample of 643 students. The main purpose of this research was to highlight the impact of the pandemic crisis on the learning process among students. Among the main research objectives were: (a) to identify students perceptions about the closure of face-to-face university courses and seminars; (b) to measure the proportion of students who were considering, at the time of the study, that the Romanian educational system is ready to switch traditional learning activities with online courses and seminars; (c) to analyze the main concerns among students toward the effects of pandemic crisis on their future educational path and educational outcomes.

The article presents one of the current directions of development and optimisation of modern education – a features of each of the current generations and the use of such teaching tools that reflect and embody these features. We are talking about both the didactic and technological features of the learning process and the semantic, essential aspects of the learning process that make the learning process itself relevant, meaningful, promising for each of the generations, not formally required. The result of such an approach to optimising the learning process is to increase the effectiveness of both the learning process and the education system as a whole in each specific historical period in the development of society.

The article highlights one of the current trends in the development and optimization of modern education – taking into account the characteristics of each of the present generations and the use of such learning tools that reflect and embody these features. We are talking about both the didactic and technological features of the learning process (how to learn and train?), the most sensitive for each of the generations, and the semantic, essential aspects of the learning process (what and why learn and train?) that make the learning process itself relevant, meaningful, promising for each of the generations, not formally required. The result of such an approach to optimizing the learning process is to increase the effectiveness of both the learning process and the education system as a whole in each specific historical period in the development of society. Yes, of course, what is the modern Teacher and the modern Pupil today?

Presented is an attempt to understand the concept of individualization of education. The article analyzes interpretations of this concept, that have emerged in recent years. Identified are elements, on which is focused attention of researchers, namely: individualization of the educational process, and individualization of the student. It is established that reasons, that prevent individualization of learning, are features of organization of educational process, while influence, that conservative nature of institute of education has effect on reducing effectiveness of the process of differentiation and individualization is not noticed. It is revealed that the need for educational system to perform functions of socialization and cultural reproduction sets tasks that at latent level contradict with requirements of individualization. Implementation of these functions is accompanied by formation of logical conformism among students and unification of their identifications that are individually and personally expressed in processes of self-typing. Thus, in order to transform education in accordance with ideas of variation, differentiation and individualization, it is necessary to study the limits of institutional possibilities for individualization of both student and learning process, as well as to explore the possibility of transformation in the context of individualization of institutional nature of the education system itself.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a complete reorganization of the education system. Thus, the entire process of education began to take place online, using various platforms and digital tools. This implies a certain adaptation of the work of teachers and pupils. In the changed conditions, gifted pupils represent a particularly sensitive group of individuals, because working with them requires a lot of attention, a stimulating environment, and the learning process should follow their needs and interests in order to fully develop their potential. Questions are asked: does learning in a changed social context stimulate the development of potential in gifted pupils, and does it follow their needs and interests. The aim of this article is achieved on a theoretical level, by applying the method of theoretical analysis and content analysis techniques. The pedagogical implications of this article are reflected in the improvement of optimal conditions for the education of the gifted in a changed social context.

Technologization and digitalization have an impact on public life and culture in general, culture is becoming mainstream. The inevitability of the onset of the postmodern epoch with its basic principles, including pluralism, relativism, mosaicism and heterogeneity, is considered. Postmodern philosophy represents the world as a multitude of fragments, stable links between which are not observed. The influence of postmodernist principles on pedagogy and the formation of anti-pedagogy is analyzed. The concept of anti-pedagogy in a radical form rejects the value and significance of upbringing and education. Attention is focused on the critical attitude of anti-pedagogy not only to educatory and pedagogic methods, but also to the consumer society. The technocratic approach is being criticized, the trainee must have a correct idea of a democratic society, and teachers must be broad-minded people who can step beyond the bounds of the subject being taught. The implementation of postmodernist principles leads to an increase and saturation of the educational environment, to the alignment of the subject-subject interaction of the teacher and student. It is concluded that particular ideas of anti-pedagogy organically exist in the modern education system, but the idea of anti-pedagogical theorists seems to be utopian that a reliable and sure way of changing the educational system is the destruction of this system.
