The problem in this study is how the structure of the folklore "Ki Ageng Mangir", the function of folklore from Bantul district "Ki Ageng Mangir", as well as any moral values contained in the folklore. This study aims to describe the structure, function and the moral value of the folklore "Ki Ageng Mangir" The research method used is descriptive, data collection techniques using reading and note-taking techniques, the data generated in this study are written data.The results of the study indicate that the Ki Ageng Mangir people's stories have a function as the source of reference for historical events in Bantul district, the values contained in this story are cultural, religious and moral values.

Formal research to describe moral values in Syair Kabanti Ganda Waborobo Village, Betoambari District, Baubau City. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Research data in the form of speech in the form of words, sentences that contain moral values in the Syair Kabhanti Ganda verse. Data collection uses recording techniques and note-taking techniques. The right moral values of the 3 syair Kabanti Ganda; (1) Moral Value in Kabanti Ngkitaana: (a) Principle of Good Attitude; human awareness of the existence of humanity. (b) the principle of harmony; call for harmony for green people because we are one origin. (2) Moranti Value of Kabanti Yoai: (a) Good Attitude Principle in the form of tabe words when passing in front of a person or many people or during a meeting. (b) The principle of harmony in the form of mutual advice and respect for one another. (c) Respectful Principles in the form of respect and submission to the mother. (3) The Moral Value of Yoisa Kabanti: (a) The principle of harmony in communication that is very tolerant and moves between brothers and sisters. (b) The principle of Respect in the form of singing respects and obeys his brother. That is the case, singing brother must love his sister. (c) The Godhead Principle in the form of belief in the provisions of the Lord. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai moral dalam Syair Kabanti Ganda Kelurahan Waborobo, Kecamatan Betoambari, Kota Baubau. Penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa tuturan dalam bentuk kata, kalimat yang mengandung nilai moral dalam syair Kabhanti Ganda. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Nilai moral 3 syair Kabanti Ganda  yang berjudul; (1) Nilai Moral dalam Kabanti Ngkitaana: (a) Prinsip Sikap Baik; pentingnya kesadaran manusia akan eksistensi kemanuasiaan. (b) Prinsip Kerukunan; seruan untuk rukun bagi umat umat manusia karena kita satu asal. (2) Nilai Moral Kabanti Yoai: (a) Prinsip Sikap Baik dalam bentuk kata tabe disaat melintas di depan seseorang atau banyak orang atau disaat meninggalkan pertemuan. (b) Prinsip Kerukunan dalam bentuk sikap saling menasihati dan saling memperhatikan satu sama lain. (c) Prinsip Hormat dalam bentuk hormat dan patuh kepada ibu. (3) Nilai Moral Kabanti  Yoisa: (a) Prinsip Kerukunan dalam komunikasi yang sangat toleran dan saling mengindahkan di antara adik dan kakak. (b) Prinsip Hormat dalam wujud  sang adik menghormati dan patuh kepada kakaknya. Demikian pulan, sang kakak harus menyayangi adiknya. (c) Prinsip Ketuhanan dalam wujud keyakinan atas ketetapan Tuhan.

Margondang belonging to the ethnic of Angkola, becomes an important part of a celebration, especially in a wedding. Traditionally Angkola Ethnic Wedding can be said to be invalid if both families, either from the groom's family or  the bride’s do not carry out this Margondang tradition. At the very first glance Margondang is a traditional dance called a tortor having movements as a medium of communication on moral values, intended not only for the bride and groom to live together, but for all the guests and participants present to be more sensitive in carrying out life. Sensitivity here is certainly related to the harmonious relationship among humans and between humans with nature so that prosperous and peaceful life can be obtained. This is the core of the implementation of Margondang tradition. This study aims at analysing the moral values of Margondang, conducted by means of  descriptive qualitative research method.  Data collection procedures are supported by observation,  interview and questionnaire  techniques, covering 20 respondents chosen randomly in randomly-selected weddings in Medan.  The results show that there are three points of moral value in Margondang: brotherhood, respect and responsibility.

ABSTRACT   Panitibaya fiber is one of the piwulang Javanese texts that needs to be preserved because the teachings contained in it are still very beneficial for the community. For that Panitibaya Fiber will be examined on (1) how the sound layer in Panitibaya Fiber, (2) how the meaning layer in  Panitibaya Fiber, (3) how the object layer in Panitbaya Fiber, (4) Moral Value in Panitibaya Fiber. This study uses a literary sociology approach according to Ian Watt. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this study is the text of the Fiber Panitibaya written by Bathara Katong. Data collection techniques in this study were heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods. The analysis technique uses an analysis of the building blocks of poetry Roman Ingarden which includes sound layers, meaning layers, object layers. From the data, it was analyzed using Ian Watt's sociology theory of literature to find out the teachings contained in Panitibaya Fiber. The results of this study indicate that the existence of sound layers, layers of meaning and layers of objects, as well as moral values ​​contained in the Panitibaya Fiber for pursuing are summarized as eleven teachings as follows, (1) obligations to the Creator, (2) disgraceful qualities that must be shunned, (3) commendable traits, (4) actions that are not justified for men, (5) attitudes that must be considered in speech, (6) ancestral messages, (7) people who are not approachable, (8) actions related to children, (9) actions related to firearms, (10) there are visits and neighbors, and (11) attitude in handling a job. The teachings of the Panitibaya Fiber need to be disseminated in the Javanese community, either through print media or online media. This study aims to describe the comparison of moral values ​​in the novel Ivanna Van Dijk by RisaSaraswati with the moral values ​​of the novel AnantaPrahadi by RisaSaraswati. The research method uses descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study were obtained by reading, recording and concluding techniques. After the data is collected, data reduction is then performed. The selected data are then classified for further analysis of similarities and differences to be compared until the conclusion of the research results. The results of this study indicate that there are differences and similarities in the moral values ​​of human relations with oneself, human relations with humans, and human relations with God. Comparison of the moral values ​​of the two novels from the aspect of moral values ​​there are differences. In the novel AnantaPrahadi by RisaSaraswati the moral values ​​of human relations with oneself are 19 quotations, human relationships with humans there are 50 quotations, human relationships with God are 8, and the total of these quotations is 149 quotations. Whereas in Ivanna Van Dijk's novel the moral value of human relations with oneself is 26 quotations, human relationships with humans there are 49 quotations, human relationships with God there are 3 quotations, and the total of these quotations is 105 quotations. Conclusion, the comparison of moral values ​​in the two novels is on the number of citations, while the equation lies in the form of quotations of moral values, which dominates the moral values ​​of relationships with others. In addition, the form of expressing the moral values ​​of the two novels is slightly different, namely the implied and explicit meaning. Keywords: Comparison, Novel, Moral Value

Moral Values in Guru Aini Written by Andrea Hirata ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berisi tentang nilai-nilai Akhlak Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Nilai akhlak menjadi fokus utama pada penelitian ini karena akhlak merupakan salah satu pondasi dasar dari sifat manusia yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan perilaku manusia dengan Tuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai nilai-nilai akhlak berupa nilai takwa, tawakal, kejujuran, keikhlasan, sabar  dan syukur dari novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Novel tersebut memiliki nilai akhlak yang perlu diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat serta menjadi khazanah keilmuan berkaitan antara agama dan sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis isi. Metode kualitatif ini dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau atau isi komunikasi berupa percakapan, teks tertulis, dan fotografi. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini terdapat 6 kutipan dari nilai takwal, 14 kutipan nilai tawakal, 18 kutipan dari nilai kejujuran, 4 kutipan dari nilai keikhlasan, 1 kutipan dari nilai sabar, dan 14 kutipan dari nilai syukur. Kata kunci: Nilai-nilai akhlak, karya sastra, novelABSTRACTThis study contains moral values based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The novel has a moral value that needs to be applied in social life and becomes a scientific treasure related to religion and literature. This research uses qualitative method and content analysis approach, this qualitative method can produce descriptive data in the form of written words or communication content in the form of conversation, written text, and photography. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi citra perempuan pada kumpulan puisi Milk and Honey karya Rupi Kaur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan kritik sastra feminisme. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simak catat. Sedangkan tahapan penelitian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data. Citra perempuan diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga aspek, yaitu fisik, psikis, dan sosial. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa citra perempuan tidak hanya memberikan gambaran mengenai tingkah laku, mental, dan sosial perempuan, tetapi juga memperlihatkan gambaran mengenai berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi perempuan di dalam masyarakat patriarki. The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the image of women in the collection of poetry Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. The research method used is a qualitative method using feminist literary criticism. The data collection technique was carried out using the note-taking technique. While the data research stages are carried out using data analysis techniques. The image of women is classified into three aspects, namely physical, psychological, and social. The results of the research and discussion show that the image of women not only provides an overview of women's behavior, mental and social, but also shows an overview of the various problems faced by women in a patriarchal society.

This research was motivated by a condition that reading of Syi’ir as a culture in society<br />decreased. Whereas, Syi’ir contained a lot of good values related to children’s character building. Through field research method, philology, and documentary research, this study found that Syi’ir Ngudi Susilo was Syi’ir that contains children’s moral value to build their character. Syi’ir Ngudi Susilo consists of a very useful basic moral value to  develop of children’s character. The Basic moral embedded in Syi’ir Ngudi Susilo were respect and responsibility. Respect would bring children to have polite in personality and behavior based on the moral value. From respect, children would have a responsible character that would create self-consciousness to do moral act. By those two basic moral values, respect and responsibility, then children would grow with noble characters.

In accordance with PP No. 8 of 2012 and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 2013 requires universities to implement a curriculum that refers to the IQF. In the PGMI study program, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang has implemented a curriculum system that refers to the KKNI. This study aims to determine the application of the curriculum referring to the KKNI in the PGMI study program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Where in this study, researchers look for sources of descriptive data in the form of words or opinions from research subjects. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation methods. The analysis technique of data collection, presentation and conclusion. Data analysis was carried out on data collection and after all were collected. The results show that in general the KKNI curriculum has been implemented in the PGMI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang study program which is decent and good.

This paper is entitled Analysis of Slangs Used by Characters in Movie Script “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”. The aims of this study are to identify and classify based on the types of slang word, this paper also described the context of situation of slang used in the movie script I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. The data source was taken from the movie script I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell (2009). The data collection was conducted through library research method and note taking technique. The first step was done through reading attentively, noting the slang word, and classifying based on the types of slang and context of situation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method with the theory of Allan and Burridge (2006) for types of slang and theory of context of situation proposed by Holmes (2013). The result of analysis shows that there are four types of slang used by character in I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell movie script. Meanwhile, for the context of situation there are four components. The meaning behind each slang words and phrases in I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell movie script depends on the context of situation. Besides, the interpretation of meaning takes important roles in the analysis.

To improve the academic ability of a cadet, it is necessary to apply the principles of shipping with the use of computer technology which is accommodated by existing shipping programs on board. In the implementation of a voyage, it always uses a passage plan to make it easier to navigate either flat or electronically. A cadet must really be equipped with the ability to calculate manually and the ability to understand the use of shipping tables and be able to apply it in a computer program. The research method is descriptive. Data collection was carried out by manual calculation of the concept of Flat Sailing using a Mercator map and comparison of the results of calculations with programs on the ship, observation, structured interviews, documentary studies and library research. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of manual calculations and by using shipping programs carried out by cadets in the implementation of the Passage Plan. The results showed that the cadets still did not understand the application of cruise calculation formulas on the projection of the mercator chart or mercator map. Cadets in entering data in a program are still wrong and less thorough so that it will affect the implementation of the passage plan.
