Moral values are standard accepted principles of life. It is concerned with the principles of right and wrong behavior and the goodness or badness of human characters. Moral values from a subset of the set of all values, and value simply consist of the things that some people values. The purpose of this study were as follows (1) to find out the Indonesian moral value in song lyrics album by Maher Zain, (2) to find out the kinds of the moral values in the song lyrics album by Maher Zain and (3) to find out the most frequent moral values in the song lyrics album by Maher Zain. Subject in this study are song lyrics that consider and containing moral values. This study was qualitative descriptive because this study is aim to make systematic, factual, accurate description of the moral values in the song lyrics forgive me album. The data was analyzed systematically based on the data Moleong (2009: 6) who state that qualitative research is a kind of research carried out to understand the phenomena that occur in research subject such as musical note; intonation and meaning of song lyrics by describe it in words and using various scientific method. The result of this analysis is shown eleven moral values are found in Forgive Me album by Maher Zain songs. The similarities Indonesian moral values wih the moral values found n Maher Zain songs, and the moral values most frequent in forgive me album by Maher Zain song. The findings of the moral values in Forgive me album by Maher Zain are eleven. There are religiosity, love affection, loyalty, sincerity, thankfulness, steadfastness, humbleness, peace loving, brotherhood, respecting other, and optimism. The Indonesian moral values found in the song lyrics album are religiosity, communicative, and peace-loving. And the moral values most frequent in the song lyrics album are religiosity, love affection and loyalty.

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

This research focuses on Rob Hall�s characterizations and moral values found in �Everest: Never Let Go� Film. The aims of this research are to find out Rob Hall�s characterizations portrayed in the Film Everest: Never Let Go and the moral values of the Film. The researcher used the theory about psychological analysis (based on Sigmund Freud in Schultz, 2005) to find out Rob characters through his words or sentences in script of Everest; Never Let Go Film and semiotics theory (based on Roland Barthes, 1968, 1990, 1991) to find out the characteristics of Rob Hall through pictures or signs which show his character in Film �Everest: Never Let Go� with print screen of each pictures or signs, and theory of moral value based on George and Uyanga (2014). Qualitative descriptive method was used by the researcher to find out the characteristic of Rob Hall in Everest: Never Let Go Film and the moral values of Rob Hall characterized in the Film. As result, the researcher found 6 characterizations of Rob Hall in Everest: Never Let Go Film, those are Honest, Sociable, Responsible, Assertive, Attentive, and Pessimistic. The research is aimed at describing the moral value aspects of human-to-human relationships in Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar. The moral value consists of aspects (1) caring for others, (2) helping, (3) deliberation, (4) living together, (5) forgiving, (6) keep on promise, (7) appreciating others. This research includes descriptive qualitative types. Qualitative descriptive describes an event with words or images of objects with actual circumstances. The data sources in this research are words, sentences, quotations or expressions that can be found in the dialogue of the characters in Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabran Kahar. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that aspects of the moral value of human relationships with other human beings are contained in the Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Daerah Jambi by Thabra Kahar. The data showed that there are 60 expressions that are divided into seven aspects of moral values including: caring for each other as many as 14 quotations, please help as many as 12 quotations, deliberation as many as 9 quotations, living together as many as 8 quotations, forgiving as many as 6 quotes, keep on promise as many as 4 quotations, and respect others as many as 7 quotations.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong>: The purpose of the research is to demonstrate the moral values and characters in the novel “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline. This research is designed as qualitative research. The approach that the writer used is the qualitative approach. The data are collected by analyzing the data found in the novel. The analysis of the novel is observed in the text and dialogues. The results of the research are in the form of moral values and characters analysis. 1) The moral values in the novel are: Justice is 34,62%, honesty is 26,92%, responsibility is 23,08%, and beneficence is 15,38%. 2) The characters which emerge in the novel “Ready Player One” Protagonist are 55,86%, Foil is 37,93%, and the antagonist is 6,21%. Moral values that dominate, or the novel would like to convey particularly to the readers, are Justice and Honesty. It means that the character who dominates the film is the protagonist.<br /><strong>Keywords</strong>: moral; value; moral value; character; novel</p>

<p class="Penulis">The purpose of the research is to find out the character and the moral values in the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. This research is designed as qualitative research. The approach that the writer uses is qualitative. The data are collected by analyzing the data found in the novel. The analysis of the novel is undertaken on the dialogues. The result of the research is the form of character and moral values. 1) The character that emerges in the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” is the protagonist, antagonist, and foil characters. The protagonist is 70 %, the antagonist is 18 %, and the foil character is 12 %. It means that the character who dominates in the novel is the protagonist. This novel's point is to lead the readers to appreciate others 2) There are seven moral values in the novel: respect, kindness, conscience, self-control, empathy, tolerance, and fairness. The moral value in the novel, respect gets 28 %, kindness is 10 %, conscience is 15%, self-control is 5 %, empathy is 15%, tolerance is 13%, and fairness is 15%. It means that moral values that dominate in the novel convey particularly to the readers is respect.</p>

Literary work is a personal reflection of the author. The purpose of this study is to describe Moral Values in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset Novel. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is done by not prioritizing numbers, but prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between concepts that are being studied in an implicit manner. Based on the results of overall data research Moral Value Analysis in My Perfect Sunset Novel by Kyria, there are 7 aspects, namely Patience, Tawakal, Worship, Help Help Work Hard, Self-Control, and Regret, as for the results of the above quotations namely: Patience is a virtue that adorns a believer, where the person is able to overcome various difficulties and remain in obedience to God even though the tribulation and trials are so terrible. The Moral Value of patience aspects in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Tawakal is a full willingness of all that it receives, and henceforth it will always have hope for everything that it wants and aspires to. The Moral Value of the aspects of resignation in the My Perfect Sunset novel by Kyria there are 2 quotes, Worship is a case of tauqifiyah namely there is no form of worship that is prescribed except according to the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah, Worship in Islamic sharia is the final destination that is loved and blessed. The Moral Values of the Worship aspect of Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Please Help fellow social beings, humans cannot live alone. As for the Moral Value aspect, please help with Kyria's My Perfect Sunset by 13 excerpts. Working hard will get what you want even if you do it hard. As for the Moral Value, the diligent aspect of working on Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 4 quotes, Self-Control makes one accustomed to enjoying the regularity of life, accustomed to being obedient, and feeling happy. The Moral Value aspects of being able to control themselves in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 5 quotes, Regret is a feeling that must be felt in life. Because with regret, someone will try to be better, and minimize mistakes in his life. The Moral Value aspects of regret in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 23 quotes.

This research  is classified  as a qualitative descriptive approach to literary  sociology that aims to describe the manifestation of moral values in novel Amira: Cinta dari Tanah Surga. Data sourced from novel texts that were amalyzed using moral theory. The results of the study show that the from of moral values consists of three types, namely moral values in human relations with variants of  have faith,  pray to God, prayer and read the Quran. Moral values in relation  to humans and themselves with variants of patience, sincerity, and responsibility. Moral value of human relations with other people  with variants, of  advice from fellow friends, parents love children, and the love of fellow friends

Margondang belonging to the ethnic of Angkola, becomes an important part of a celebration, especially in a wedding. Traditionally Angkola Ethnic Wedding can be said to be invalid if both families, either from the groom's family or  the bride’s do not carry out this Margondang tradition. At the very first glance Margondang is a traditional dance called a tortor having movements as a medium of communication on moral values, intended not only for the bride and groom to live together, but for all the guests and participants present to be more sensitive in carrying out life. Sensitivity here is certainly related to the harmonious relationship among humans and between humans with nature so that prosperous and peaceful life can be obtained. This is the core of the implementation of Margondang tradition. This study aims at analysing the moral values of Margondang, conducted by means of  descriptive qualitative research method.  Data collection procedures are supported by observation,  interview and questionnaire  techniques, covering 20 respondents chosen randomly in randomly-selected weddings in Medan.  The results show that there are three points of moral value in Margondang: brotherhood, respect and responsibility.

<p>The aim of the research is to find out the use of figurative languages, the<br />dominant one, and the moral values in the selected poems of William Shakespeare. This<br />research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results obtained include: there are 14 kinds of figurative language used in the selected poems, they are metaphor, simile, symbol, personification, litotes, hyperbole, metonymy, synecdoche, allusion, alliteration,<br />repetition, assonance, parallelism, and paradox. The dominant of figurative language used in the selected poems is a metaphor.
