The article advances the idea about a drop in people interest in buying similar goods and services, especially in conditions of uncertainty, in particular corona-virus epidemic, when people care less about external things, such as their clothes for visiting public places. Today we observe the necessity in meeting aesthetic needs through different tools and artistic objects. Therefore, we can say that it is a certain return to those times, when in public places and even in the Underground you can see real works of art that were not made in a hurry, according to the principle ‘the cheaper the better', but those of full value. In spring 2021 we conducted a survey of students of the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics and the Arts College RGGU to find the role of the aesthetic (emotional, sensual) element - the art-object (in this case - a poster) - in conditions of uncertainty, i. e. COVID-19 epidemic. The findings of this research showed that aesthetic value of graphics takes a foreground, it should be connected with specialization of the trade enterprise, its historic and other factors. The author demonstrates that availability of aesthetic values can form a motivating platform for repeated visits to the store and thus shape its competitive advantage.

This research paper discusses the aesthetic value of an object called "Tepak Sireh" from the perspective of its design and pattern motifs. Consisting of betel-Handset, container betel, incisors and gobek, a Tepak sireh comes in various styles and tastes. This indicates the uniqueness, creativity and energy of the past thinking of Malay Society. The process of its creation is revealed through the application of the beauty of the flora and fauna that live in this environment. The qualitative research methodology was adopted. Data were collected by conducting interviews, observations, documentation and visual recordings The relevance of this study is crucial given that the Malay culture has not received as much attention as the other cultures from the youngsters.. This has left the legacy in galleries and museums hence inevident impact on the group. Therefore, Tepak Sireh can be viewed as a set of art that symbolizes the highly aesthetical and modestly cultured Malay community. It is concerned with life united by values, customs and culture of rules, that stay forever adhering to the old Malay proverb which is “Tak Lapuk Dek Hujan dan Tak Lekang Dek Panas”.

As a researcher, I am seeking a mode of inquiry that would allow for a reflection on mindfulness and the role it plays in curriculum and learning. Needing to merge my personal voice with the diverse educational landscape, I found that poetic storytelling allowed me to “present possibilities for understanding the complex, mysterious, even ineffable experiences that comprise human living” (Chambers, Hasbe-Ludt, Leggo, & Sinner, 2012, p. xx). Using first-person auto-ethnographical narrative as a research methodology and the Integral Model as a theoretical framework (Wilber, 2000, 2006, Wilber, Patten, Leonard, & Morelli, 2008), the interconnected strands of mindfulness are synthesized within the four quadrants of the model. Self, Science, Storytelling, and Systems are components of mindfulness that together formulate a holistic understanding as “integral theory weaves together the significant insights from all major human disciplines of knowledge, including natural and social science as well as the arts and the humanities” (Visser, 2003).Keywords: education; narrative inquiry; qualitative research

Limitations of action designate extent of time after an event, as set by statutes of limitations, within which legal action can be initiated by a party to a transaction. No event is actionable outside the designated time as same is rendered statute-barred. This study aims to provide an insight into application and significance of Limitations Act 1950 and Limitation Ordinance 1952 to Islamic banking matters in Malaysia as well as Shariah viewpoint on the issue of limitation of action. In conducting the study, a qualitative research methodology is employed where reported Islamic banking cases from 1983 to 2018 in Malaysia were reviewed and analysed to ascertain the application of those statutes of limitations to Islamic banking. Likewise, relevant provisions of the statutes as invoked in the cases were examined to determine possible legislative conflicts between the provisions and the rule of Islamic law in governing the right and limitation of action in Islamic banking cases under the law. The reviewed cases show the extent to which statutes of limitations were invoked in Malaysian courts in determining validity of Islamic banking matters. The limitation provisions so referred to are largely sections 6(1)(a) and 21(1) Limitations Act 1953 and section 19 Limitation Ordinance 1953, which do not conflict with Shariah viewpoint on the matter. This study will prove invaluable to financial institutions and their customers alike in promoting knowledge and creating awareness over actionable event in the course of their transactions.
