Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of life in patients with mental illness.Methods: This study used a phenomenological research approach. Subjects were recruited from shared living houses or rehabilitation facilities. Subjects had received treatment for mental illness. An in-depth interview was conducted for data collection from June 2019 to September 2019.Results: Three themes of the meaning of life were identified; 1. discovering their own power to keep away from a shaky life, 2. expanding into a safe relationship, and 3. developing towards a more valuable life.Conclusion: The meaning of life for subjects who experienced mental illness was that they felt helpless in the process of endless mental illness, but they realized the value of accepting the disease and living their daily lives and tried to restore close relationships with people and live the life they desired.

Dayak hibun people cannot be separated from the forest in their daily lives. they maintain the preservation of the surrounding forest, one of which is the caged forest. The research aimed to collect information regardingthe local wisdomPublicDayak Hibun  in Beruak, Gunam Village, Parindu Subdistrict, Sanggau Regency, in an effort to preserve the teringkang forest. The research method using survey method, and the technique of data collection was snowball sampling. The data was obtained through a depth-interview and interview guideline as a reference. The results of the data analysis show that there are several forms of local wisdom practiced in gunam village, namely 1. (a) prohibition of cutting down the trees, (b) opening the Teringkang forest for farming, (c) burning goods such as shrimp paste and fish, (d) taking and killing animals, (e) urinating and defecating in the Teringkang Forest, 2. belief in the presence of Bunyik (ghosts), having rituals entering the Teringkang Forest, and Keeping words politeness, 3. Hence the community has belief in mystical matters, 4. Therefore, the Teringkang Forest is still preserved up until today.Keywords: Dayak Hibun, Local Wisdom, Teringkang Forest

Generally, married women are willing to have a child, but not all women are having opportunity to be a mother. Veevers (Miall, 1986) defined involuntary childless as psychological desire to have children yet unable to have them. This research aimed to identify the meaning of life of involuntary childless women. This research used qualitative method approach with Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Subject of this research was three involuntary childless womens. Data collection techniques used were interview with guidelines. The conclussion of the three cases from this study is the subjects have differences in the process of searching for meaning of life. In these cases has emerged themes on the four stages of the search for meaning of life.

This study examines the sales promotion strategies undertaken by traditional retailers, in this case in the Market merchants Karangsambung groceries. Some of the strategies offered by marketing experts may be modified by traders in the Market groceries Karangsambung in promoting the products sold. This is done because of limited resources owned by the merchant. This research approach uses qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique using observation, in-depth interview techniques, and the library to study and documentation. Decision informants conducted by using informants aims. Analysis of the data using analytical models Miles and Huberman comprising the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the basic needs trader in the Market Karangsambung keep doing sales promotion in the form of point of purchase, samples, loyalty programs, direct gifts, and gifts for referrals. Implementation of sales promotion conducted by the merchant groceries market Karangsambung influenced by several things such as Marketers (Knowledge and market network owned by the merchant), the availability of marketing costs, the nature of the market (broad market geographically, the market concentration, and the type of buyer), as well as the types of products traded.

Background Research conceptualising recovery is predominantly Eurocentric. This paper develops the conceptualisation of recovery by Black African service users. Aims Our aim was to explore Black African service users’ experiences of recovery from mental illness and to understand how they conceptualise recovery. Methods Using a qualitative research approach and interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 Black African service users recovering from mental illness in England. Results Participants conceptualised recovery as a pragmatic and subjective concept distributed across a continuum of clinical, functional and spiritual dimensions, resilience, identity and their social and cultural backgrounds. Conclusions It seems critical for all stakeholders to ensure that these components are embedded in recovery-oriented services for Black African service users.

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif dari adanya pergantian (turn-over) guru di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Banyuputih kabupaten Batang. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif analitis dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya turn-over yang tinggi pada guru atau pendidik di madrasah tersebut; keuntungan yang bersifat positif justru didapatkan ketika adanya turn-over guru dibandingkan dampak negatifnya; dan kehadiran guru baru menjadi hal yang sangat disukai oleh siswa dalam hal kreativitas, inovasi pembelajaran, motivasi, dan lain sebagainya.The aims of this research were to know the positive and negative impact of teacher turn over at Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Banyuputih Kabupaten Batang. This research was use analytical descriptive qualitative approach with depth interview, questionnaire and documentation as data collection methods. The results of this research shows that the positive impact occur more than the negative impact when there was teacher turn over; and the presence of a new teacher become student’s favourite on creativity, learning innovation, and motivation aspects.

Abstract The  problem  of this research is : How is the language development of children age 12 to 24 months in Semarang ?. The purpose of this study is to describe widely and deeply about language development the children age 12 to 24 in Semarang. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Miles Hubermen’s model. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation data. The results showed that the development of language of children aged 12 to 24 months in Semarang in expressive is: can produce sound almost perfect in several words; Some of the letters of the words missing from the pronunciation; The missing letters are usually consonants; Haven't been able to pronounce the letter s and r; In General, most people are able to understand the speech of the children is an adult who is close to the child; There is a word that can be spelled perfectly by the child. The words are by and large is the words that are simple and close to the children's daily lives. As for the generally receptive: children can follow and obey what is spoken by adults; The children seem to understand when the adults were talking about them; and children  can understand  to the words that they  heard more than that they can speak.   Keywords: Language, children, expressive, receptive, word.

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.

This study explores the practice of financial interdependence among Malay older people who live in the community in Malaysia. Eleven Malay older people participated in this qualitative study by an in-depth interview. The data was analyzed using six stages of the interpretative phenomenological analysis. Two main themes emerged from the interview transcripts are issues regarding living expenses and financial assistance. Financial interdependence is one of the most effective ways for the Malay older people in the community in Malaysia to adapt their retired status, to achieve maximum life satisfaction and productivity thereby improving their overall quality of life.Keywords: Financial interdependence, Older people, Quality of life, Interpretative phenomenological analysisISSN: 2398-4287© 2017. This article explores the experiences of social exclusion of individuals with visual impairment (IWVI) as they negotiate their daily lives in their homes and societal settings in the Oshana and Oshikoto regions of Namibia. Employing qualitative research approach, this research tried to better understand the lived experiences of IWVI. Nine IWVI with ages ranging from 30 to 90 years were initially engaged in focus group discussions, followed by semi-structured in-depth individual interviews. The findings of this research indicated that IWVI experience exclusion from education, employment and social and community participation as well as relationships. Based on these findings, we suggest more inclusive policies to address social exclusion of IWVI. At the same time, this group of individuals should be empowered to participate in community activities to promote interaction with people without visual impairments.
