The mismatch between competence and job requirements is a cause of rampant unemployment. Moreover, the imbalance between supply and demand, as well as the quality of human resources are produced. The edupreneur program in the Islamic Early Childhood Education (IECE) department can equip graduates to be more competitive, especially looking for competent jobs. This study aims to develop an Educational Game Tool (EGT) in the form of APE Golf as a form of entrepreneurial education program (edupreneur) in the IECE study program. The method used is research and development (research and development) Borg and Gall. EGT Golf development is carried out in several stages, namely: the initial trial design stage given to material expert validators and media experts and the main field trial stage with 14 children. The results of this study indicate that EGT golf is feasible to be used as an educational program for students and prospective teachers in the IECE department. EGT golf testing with respondents can encourage student activity and develop fine and gross motor skills. EGT golf can also be used as a learning medium in early childhood education.

Abstract. In Early Childhood Education (0-6 years), pupils experience an enormous physical and maturative development of their bodies. They use it as a fundamental instrument to know and explore the physical and social context that surrounds them. Being aware of the need to reach an integral development that promotes the children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive capacities in a balanced way, psychomotor strategies are implemented in the classrooms to favour the development of physical abilities such as general coordination, balance and gross motor skills. In this work we present various resources with which children are able to interact at a physical level to stimulate their movements and encourage their creativity. The use of appropriate resources will lead to an adjusted and progressive recognition of the children’s body image, as a basis for developing an adequate personal identity and level of self-esteem. Specifically, this paper presents a descriptive analysis of how these strategies and resources are used in classrooms, namely in the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years), in relation to psychomotor activities, when working with a project-based learning approach.

Educational play equipment is something that can be used as a means or equipment for playing that contains educational value and can develop all children's abilities. Knowledge and understanding of educational teaching aids is very important for a teacher, but the understanding and skills of making educational game tools are still lacking, this is influenced by teacher education who is not a teacher education graduate even there are high school graduates, this results in low motivation of the teachers to make educational game tools, for that it is necessary to hold training on the development of educational game tools for educators with the aim of providing knowledge and understanding as well as the skills of teachers to make educational play tools that are creative, innovative and environmentally friendly. The making of this educational game tool comes from unused used materials that are easily obtained from the surrounding environment. This training was attended by early childhood education teachers in Wonokromo Village, Surabaya. The method of implementation is divided into four stages, namely material presentation, discussion, practice of making educational game tools and simulations. As a result of the training, all participants gained knowledge and skills in making educational games that are safe for children and are environmentally friendly. Through community service activities, early childhood education teachers are able to develop educational games that are environmentally friendly and able to increase professionalism in learning activities.

AbstractThis article presents the results of the research and development project “Principled Professionalism in the Development of the Educational Curriculum in Early Childhood Education”. The purpose of the project was (1) to find ways of working in a professional and pedagogical way with “the bolstered educational curriculum” which is on the verge of being implemented in Denmark and (2) to examine if there would be signs of what Ivar Goodson calls “principled professionalism”.  We organized five profession-circle sessions in cooperation with two daycare centers in Aarhus Municipality. During those sessions we found clear signs of professionalism grounded on social and ethical purposes which can maintain the professionals’ professional commitment in an open collaboration with the outside world. A figure is developed in order to identify the elements of principled professionalism. The figure can be used in the continuous reflection of pedagogical work and as the basis for continuous documentation and evaluation of practice, and might be helpful in the further process of translation of the bolstered educational curriculum into practice.

Being a teacher must have a positive character, one of which is honesty. Honesty can be known based on academic behavior during a student. In fact, there are currently many dishonest behaviors in prospective educators, especially in early childhood education program students. The purpose of this study is to describe academic behavior, especially academic dishonesty in students of early childhood education programs at University X in Central Java, Indonesia. The focus of research is on forms of dishonest behavior when working on Tasks, Middle Semester Exams and final semester examinations, and the causes of dishonesty occur. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with a data collection tool with in-depth interviews. The research subjects were 4 students in the 7th semester who took courses in the Teacher Education Study Program and Early Childhood Education. The results showed that the form of academic dishonesty in prospective students of early childhood teacher educators was asking for answers, asking for the essence of answers, seeing answers (without being known by friends), bringing cheats and searching for answers on the internet. Academic dishonesty factor is caused by the question that comes out when the exam is not studied or not in accordance with what is learned when studying, does not know the answer, does not understand the material delivered during lectures and learning is not optimal.
