The present study aims investigating the relation between educational philosophies adopted by prospective teachers and their teaching-learning conceptions. In the study, relational screening model was used. In the study, simple random sampling method was used. The study included 431 prospective teachers studying in divisions of elementary school teaching, science, social studies, Turkish, preschool, English, psychological consultancy and guidance and computer teaching. The data in the study were collected by using the scale of teaching- learning conceptions and the scale of philosophic preference assessment. Descriptive statistics, multi-linear regression analysis and Pearson product moment correlation analysis took place in data analyses. As a result, it was seen that the prospective teachers responded as “I agree” to the contemporary educational philosophy dimension of the educational philosophy that they adopted while they responded as “I agree in part” to the traditional educational philosophy and as “I agree” to the constructive sub-dimension of the teaching-learning conceptions’ scale and as “I agree in part” to the traditional sub-dimension. It was determined that there is a relation at low and moderate levels in the directions of positive and negative between the scores of the prospective teachers in the educational philosophy they adopted and their scores in teaching-learning conceptions while sub-dimensions of traditional and contemporary educational philosophies of the scale of philosophic preference assessment that they adopted has a significant relation with the teaching-learning conceptions.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between prospective teachers' tendencies towards educational philosophy and lifelong learning and their teaching-learning process competencies. The study used the descriptive model to determine the current situation and adopted a predictive correlational design to find out the extent to which educational philosophy and lifelong learning tendencies predict teaching-learning process competencies. The study group consisted of 238 prospective teachers. The data were obtained using three scales, namely "Educational Philosophy Tendencies Scale", "Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale" and "Teaching-Learning Process Competencies Scale". The study revealed that prospective teachers adopted more the philosophy of progressivism and reconstructionism, and their lifelong learning and teaching-learning process competencies were at a high level. The gender variable was effective only in the essentialism dimension in terms of the educational philosophy tendencies. While it was effective in lifelong learning tendencies, it had no effect in teaching-learning process competencies. The branch variable, on the other hand, was effective in all dimensions of educational philosophy tendencies except for perennialism. It was determined that the tendencies towards educational philosophies alone are not predictors of the teaching-learning process competencies. When, however, lifelong learning tendencies and educational philosophies are taken into account together, they predict the teaching-learning process competencies.

The aim of this study is to determine the change occurred in educational philosophies of prospective teachers in the process of a four-year undergraduate education. This study was designed as a longitudinal panel study. The sample of the study consists of 323 prospective teachers from Çukurova University Faculty of Education. In analyzing the data gathered by means of Philosophy Preference Assessment Form, one-way ANOVA for repeated measures and two-way ANOVA for mixed measures were used.  According to the results, while there was a decrease in the perennialism and idealism, there was an increase in existentialism philosophical understandings of the prospective teachers from the 1st year towards the 4th year; and there were no significant changes in other philosophical understandings.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, trust in leaders on employee engagement at PT.Bali Bijaksana Nusa Dua – Bali. The number of samples in this study were 75 employees with a simple random sampling method. Data collection used questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test and test coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that there are positive and partial positive effects of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and trust in leaders in increasing employee engagement at PT. Bali Bijaksana Nusa Dua – Bali. The results showed that the transformational leadership regression coefficient (X1) was 0.268 with a value that meant that each increase in transformational leadership variables could increase employee engagement at PT. Bali Bijaksana Nusa Dua – Bali. Job satisfaction regression coefficient (X2) is equal to 0.303, which means that every increase in job satisfaction variables can increase employee engagement at PT. Bali Bijaksana Nusa Dua – Bali. Regression coefficient value to leader (X3) is equal to 0.256, which means that every increase in the trust variable in the leader can increase employee engagement at PT. Bali Bijaksana Nusa Dua – Bali. As  the results of the determination coefficient of 0.657, its means that 65.7% can explain the model or influence of each variable on work engagement, while the rest (100% -65.7% = 34,3%) is explained by other reasons outside research model.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, independent attitude and family environment on the interest in entrepreneurship at the University of Flores Management Faculty of Economics. This research is an associative research. The population in this study were students of the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Flores in the class of 2015-2016 who had passed the entrepreneurship courses of 170 people. Samples taken in this study were 105 respondents, with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of multiple regression analysis are Y = 1.060 + 0.594X1 + 0.114X2 + 0.421X3 + e. The coefficient of determination R2 for the variables X1, X2, X3 is 0.675, which means that entrepreneurial interest can be influenced by emotional intelligence, independent attitude and family environment by 67.50% and the remaining 32.50% is influenced by other factors including factors of education, skills, motivation and others. F test results show the value of Fcount> Ftable (28.442> 2.69) with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between emotional intelligence, independent attitude and family environment together on the entrepreneurial interest of the Faculty of Management Study Program Students The economy. Partial test results (t) show 1) Emotional intelligence factors have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest 2) Family environment factors have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest 3) Independent attitude factor has no positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest.

This research focuses on the design, construction, and validation of a questionnaire that seeks to analyse the perception of the landscape amongst undergraduates studying for a Degree in Primary School Teaching at Salamanca University. The process has involved using both qualitative and quantitative techniques to test the content’s validity and the construct’s reliability and suitability through the participation of a panel of expert judges and a sample of 432 subjects. This has been followed by the introduction of an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) of the data provided by the cohort that has led to a study of the questionnaire’s core characteristics, a reduction in its size, and the validation of its pertinence.

AbstractEntrepreneurship educators can maximise the effectiveness of their delivery by having a firm grasp of the different educational philosophies and theories that underpin entrepreneurship education pedagogy and practice. A particular educational philosophical orientation underlies, directs, and drives educator practices and should align with what the teaching seeks to impart and achieve, and the roles the learners and educator play in the learning process. Whilst educators might not always be explicitly aware of their philosophical orientation, it will direct and drive their pedagogic practice and have implications for what they deliver, and how they deliver it. The benefits of bringing together different learning theories, philosophies, and approaches for entrepreneurship education has previously been posited in the literature. However, it has been highlighted that connections between educational theory and practice are limited, and that the field of entrepreneurship education could be advanced through providing links between education literature, theory, and learning. This paper advances the literature by linking educational philosophy and theory to entrepreneurship education and pedagogy in higher education. It discusses and highlights how behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanism can be used to underpin and support learning in entrepreneurship education. This meets calls for the conceptualisation of how educational philosophies and theories can be integrated into entrepreneurship education to support learners.

The study is devoted to the organization of the teaching/learning content of visual art and self-expression process in practice. The article, based on theory, explains creative self-expression in the context of pupil's meaningful learning, based on the new education policy and the developed guidelines in basic education. The individual experience of prospective primary school teachers and their understanding of self-expression in visual art has been clarified during the reflection and pedagogical observation in the study process in methods of teaching visual art which led to stating the research problem. The theoretical account offered in the article reveals pedagogical possibilities for prospective teachers to organize purposefully self-expression classes in visual art during the teaching practice so that the pupil, learning visual art without professional literacy in art, improved his/her transversal skills acquiring the experience of self-guided learning, critical thinking and problem-solving, innovation, cooperation, and civic participation.

<p>This paper investigated the causes and possible strategies to minimize examination malpractices in Senior High Schools (SHSs) in Ghana. A descriptive survey design with a quantitative approach was used for the study. Proportional stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used to select a sample of 335 respondents which comprised 302 students and 33 teachers. Frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations were used to analyse the data gathered. The findings revealed that the leading cause of examination malpractices was ‘insufficient students’ preparation for WASSCE and Public education on effects of examination malpractices has also emerged as the number one strategy to minimize the menace. It was concluded that in schools where a conducive environment and teaching/ learning materials are not provided for effective academic work, performance falls below what is expected, to achieve academic success, students and teachers engage in examination malpractices to raise the academic image of the school. The quality of human resources, work professionalism, communication has an influence on the performance of education and employment center employees in airlines both partially and simultaneously. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The aviation training center population was 79 employees and 75 people were taken as respondents with the sampling method used was simple random sampling or simple random samples. The method of data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of testing and analysis conducted stated that the quality of human resources has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work professionalism has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously the quality of human resources, work professionalism, and communication support employee performance.
