COVID-19 prompted to transform the traditional education system into a distance education system and using technological tools, including educational platforms. online learning platforms play an important role in modern education. The objective of the research is to explore the degree of using platforms by the faculty members at Al-Aqsa University, and to highlight the difficulties they face when using platforms .To achieve the research objective, ​followed the qualitative and quantitative method. The instruments of the research were a semi-structured interview included the important difficulties the faculty members faced inusing platforms , and a questionnaire included the most important skills to use platforms. The results revealed that participants agreed on the most important obstacle of using educational platforms, the difficulty of access to the internet. The results of the survey indicated that the use of e-platform skills is high. The results of this study help decision-makers to plan, evaluate and implement online learning platforms in their institutions

Since the spring of 2020, practically all educational institutions have transferred instruction online. However, questions remain about whether online learning is as effective as face-to-face (F2F) one. This is especially relevant in the case of non-formal adult education, as students have competing demands on their time, established learning habits, and their relationship with a training provider is short-term. This paper compares results of students’ evaluation of teaching (SET) collected from two adult learner cohorts of similar demographic characteristics. While both cohorts had English language courses of the same core content and volume, one studied F2F, the other online. A Likert-type questionnaire form is used for the analysis. Analysis of the results from both groups reveals no statistically significant differences in students’ opinions. Moreover, students are consistent in their overall favorable attitude to both learning formats. A very slight preference towards F2F format is detected in some aspects of the course.

E-Government in itself requires reorganizing of governance with institutions and organizations with the aim of running them more efficiently. This is done using various applications created specifically for actions in the fields of economics, health, safety, education, etc. These applications are products that are used directly by all citizens. In the field of e-Learning, in educational institutions such as universities, the users of these applications are lecturers and students who are considered to have the highest skills in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Based on this, e-Learning systems in educational institutions can be configured in such a way that tasks and responsibilities are divided into user levels. This would make the maintenance of system not dependent on the administrator only, but on all levels of users. Consequently this makes the whole system more sustainable, decentralized, with low-maintenance. Such a configuration has been running with the Moodle platform at Kadri Zeka University Kosovo (UKZ) for five year since 2016.

The vision of introducing computing as a literacy taught from primary school to higher and lifelong education is producing a worldwide new curriculum design and adoption. A strong research effort has involved researchers and educators to find the best ways to prepare teachers and their students for computing with an emphasis on core computer science concepts. This paper, starting from a previously developed curriculum, aims to present and discuss learning trajectories for a first course on computing aiming to presenting key concepts first, such as functions and their use. This learning trajectory is compared with a second learning trajectory presenting loop and loop invariant first and a third one presenting variable first.

Low health literacy is a public health scourge. Health information and health literacy around COVID-19 is a miscalculated public health conundrum. Zarocostas referred to the COVID-19 not as a pandemic, but an info-demic because of the need for patients to be more health literate when they are being bombarded by inaccurate or misleading information from social media, public officials, and family. During a global pandemic, the need to understand and explore the nuances of health literacy has never been more pressing. This qualitative exploratory study uses the expertise of subject matter experts on health literacy to classify the barriers to health information literacy, the best practices for improving health information literacy, and the additional measures taken by medical providers during the COVID-19 outbreak ensure that patients have the most accurate and useful health information.

Technology has become an indispensable part of contemporary society. The new vision of upcoming generations is the internet of things (IoT), which has created new interaction among individuals and the environment. IoT has permeated into higher education institutions, advancing the quality of the teaching-learning experience and the ability to customize environmental parameters. In this research, the status of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, ETSIDI campus was explored based on the post-occupancy evaluation (POE) in order to assess the status of facilities and reveal the corresponding solutions for possible enhancements. The smart campus development approach is pursuant to the occupant-based framework as a way to represent and analyze occupant state, mobility, and movement in the campus through the IoT.

In general, databases provide a single comprehensive view suitable for analysis and relevant information for a variety of organizational purposes. The intent of this paper is to review the contemporary database design in terms of data modelling, process modelling, relational databases, and data storage. The review indicates the contemporary relational database architecture provides numerous advantages such as high consistency and availability. However, it is not suitable for big data because its performance decreases as the data grows and faces scalability constraints as it is impossible to scale horizontally, and its vertical growth is limited. An implication here is that big data requires more than a relational database and the traditional SQL.

The study is devoted to the organization of the teaching/learning content of visual art and self-expression process in practice. The article, based on theory, explains creative self-expression in the context of pupil's meaningful learning, based on the new education policy and the developed guidelines in basic education. The individual experience of prospective primary school teachers and their understanding of self-expression in visual art has been clarified during the reflection and pedagogical observation in the study process in methods of teaching visual art which led to stating the research problem. The theoretical account offered in the article reveals pedagogical possibilities for prospective teachers to organize purposefully self-expression classes in visual art during the teaching practice so that the pupil, learning visual art without professional literacy in art, improved his/her transversal skills acquiring the experience of self-guided learning, critical thinking and problem-solving, innovation, cooperation, and civic participation.

As our society wrestles with systemic racism, it is imperative that houses of prayer undergo the same reflection. African-Americans have been disappointed with majority Caucasian congregation church leaders who have the capacity to change minds and attitudes during this time of national reckoning over race but are not engaging their worshipers with honest educational conversations about social justice, race, and police brutality. Black lives matter. This is an obvious truth considering God's love for all God's children. When Black lives are systemically devalued by society, our outrage justifiably insists that attention be focused on Black lives. When a church claims boldly “Black Lives Matter” and attempts to educate their churchgoers about the societal and subtle ills of racial profiling, microaggressions, and privilege at this moment, it chooses not to be silent about a racial injustice for those in need. The paper explores the importance of this topic through current event literature.
