Abstract This is the first part of the material concerned with the analysis of drive systems in remotely controlled unmanned underwater vehicles. The paper discusses the problem of classification of UUVs, mainly remotely controlled, with an indication of four different approaches to this issue. Moreover, the article discusses the nomenclature used in relation to various components of the discussed drive systems and thrusters, as well as indicates the functionality of such systems along with the advantages and disadvantages of the analysed design solutions. The method of analysis of drive systems, its methodology and the results will be the subject of a subsequent publication of the authors.

Abstract The article presents the general construction of an underwater vehicle manipulator along with a discussion of the materials used in their construction. The types of drive systems used by the manipulator have been characterised, distinguishing their advantages and disadvantages. The functions of the manipulator are specified in relation to the activities performed by it. Moreover, the paper discusses the manipulator's degrees of freedom with the specification of the formula for their calculation. The basic types of end effectors are presented as well as an outline of the classification of manipulators in relation to the tasks carried out.

There has been a steady growth of interest in the technology of small modular reactors (SMR) in the world recently. SMRs are considered as a promising area for the further development of nuclear industry. The paper defines the term “small modular reactor”, presents the scope, potential advantages and disadvantages of SMR. A review was made and a classification of SMR projects was proposed depending on the novelty of their technical solutions. The paper presents an enlarged comparative analysis of individual SMR technical solutions (based on the example of Holtec International SMR-160) with operating Ukrainian NPPs to identify peculiarities of SMR that should be addressed in licensing. Certain specific design solutions of SMR-160 are correlated with defense-in-depth levels. The approaches and condition for licensing SMR designs in the international practice are analyzed. The paper identifies problematic aspects with regard to regulatory framework and confirmation of the efficiency of SMR design solutions, as well as formulates proposals and recommendations for the first steps to ensure the licensing process in response to the initiative of the operating organization Energoatom.

ENTITIES INVOLVED IN THE ORGANISATION OF COMPETITIONS FOR MANAGERIAL POSTS: LEGAL ISSUES Summary The article discusses the legal issues associated with the competition method of selecting management staff. Under the current legal provisions in Poland many legal acts pertain to this issue, giving an inhomogeneous set of regulations for the principles of conducting such procedures in particular domains of public, social and economic affairs. The subject of the first part of this paper is the analysis of the concept of competitions for managerial posts and the classification of the procedure for the competitive selection of management staff based on various criteria. The author also points out the main advantages and disadvantages of competitions held for managerial posts. The second part of the paper describes the entities directly involved in the organisation of competitions for management staff, and indispensable for the running of such competitions. In my opinion the analysis of the legal acts which regulate this issue allows for the distinction of two essential categories of entities directly involved in the process of competitive management appointments. On the one hand this means those organisers who are responsible for initiating the whole procedure and who make the final decision on the appointment. On the other hand there is the competition commission, which has a significant influence on the effectiveness of the competitive selection of management staff.

The article presents the main issues connected to autonomous cars, especially a vision for the near future. The theme was divided into four parts. The first part of the paper presents the statistics of car crashes in Poland. It describes also the number of registered vehicles in the country and the trend of car crashes in the period 2008–2017. The second part defines the autonomous cars. Six levels of classification of autonomous vehicles are presented and described. The vehicles of Waymo and Tesla are described in details, taking into consideration also BMW and Mercedes cars. The third part deals with the subject of autonomous cars in Poland. The first deadly car crash caused by the autonomous car is also mentioned. The last part presents the advantages and disadvantages of autonomous vehicles.

The article introduces into scientific circulation the text of Diodore of Tarsus Commentary on the Psalms. The explanation of the first four psalms was translated into Russian from ancient Greek for the first time and is accompanied by scientific commentary. The preface to the translation contains brief information about the author and his work: Diodore of Tarsus is considered a prominent and important theologian of the Antiochian school, however, almost all of his works have been lost. The exclusiveness of the Commentary on the Psalms is that it is one of the earliest examples of the typically Antiochian way of exegesis. Even though authoritative manuscripts that contain the Commentary are not signed with the name of the Tarsian bishop, researchers argue that this text belongs to him. The preface also provides information on Diodore’s style, the advantages and disadvantages of his approach. The bishop of Tarsus suggested a classification of the psalms, and the exegesis of the first four psalms allows us to see by example the peculiarities of each of the types proposed by the bishop. The Commentary on the Psalms by Diodore of Tarsus provides modern scholars the opportunity to analyze this important material on the subject of the state of biblical exegesis in the second half of the 4th century.

This study aims to investigate the implementation of institutional development TNGHS forest governance, aspects of the advantages and disadvantages, and institutional design recommendations TNGHS Hall.               This study uses research is descriptive research method of analysis. This method is defined as a troubleshooting procedure investigated by describing the state of the subject or object of research that is going on at the present time based on the facts as they should be seen in the field               After analysis against each indicator of variable institutional development that the average score of respondents' assessment results is 3.84, which means being on the classification of Good assessment, thus assessment of the institutional development of  the national park forest governance Halimun Salak mountain has done well.               Although the classification assessment of all dimensions of institutional development are in the good category, but according to the results of interviews with respondents there are several dimensions that need to be improved further in the development of  institutional governance national park of halimun salak mountain bark like dimensions of resources, programs, link normative and link dispersed. Keywords: Institutional Development

An analysis is conducted of the basic risks that occur when managing the projects of deep-sea archeological research. It is proposed to consider possible risks of such projects in the form of a general set of risks that contains subsets of the identified and unidentified risks. Based on the generalization of existing experience of conducting underwater archaeological research and with regard to the peculiarities of their execution by using TV-controlled unmanned underwater vehicles, the main risks of such operations are identified. A classification of risk factors is proposed, which takes into account weather and hydrological conditions in the area of operations, peculiarities of the underwater situation, technological and technical provision of underwater archaeological research, possible obstacles from the navigation in the explored area and errors in geographical coordinates of fulfilled work, as well as the human factor. Additionally, environmental, organizational and financial risks, which the project team is aware of, are defined as directly related to planning the projects of deep-sea archeological research. A generalized risk register is developed of the projects' deep-sea archaeological studies as theoretical foundation for designing the models of risk management and their quantitative evaluation when planning financial and temporal resources for such projects.
