<p>The instructional media used at schools are not maximized. Therefore, researchers developed an internet-based instructional media using Prezi online software. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the instructional medium validity using Prezi; (2) to describe the practicality of Prezi medium as an evaluation from students’ questionnaire responses; and (3) to describe the effectiveness of Prezi medium seen from students’ learning outcomes. This media development refers to the KEMP model development. The instruments used were in the form of media validation sheet, student questionnaire responses, and achievement test. The results showed that: (1) the validity of the medium category is very valid; (2) the practicality of the medium is on the very practical category; (3) the effectiveness of the medium is on the effective category. It is concluded that the Online Prezi instructional medium which was developed is eligible for use in learning.<br /><br /></p>

Introduction: All this time conventional media in lecture proved less effective in improving learning outcomes Basic Nursing Science I. On the other hand, the presence of an innovative learning model of conceptual change-oriented and ICT are potentially improve learning outcomes IKD I. Development of interactive learning media-oriented conceptual change is predicted to have an impact on the achievement of learning outcomes IKD difference. This research aims to develop interactive learning media-laden conceptual change and test its effectiveness in scaling the learning outcomes of students STIKES Majapahit IKD Singaraja. Method: This was a development study (development research). The population in this study were all students of the first semester courses of S-1 Nursing, STIKES Majapahit Singaraja school year 2013/2014 (80 people) and a teacher of nursing staff (15 people). Sampling in each phase of the research done by simple random sampling technique, in order to obtain two lecturers (content and media experts), 3 students (individual test), 9 students (small group testing) and 30 students of the first semester (field test). The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire and achievement test I. Basic Nursing questionnaire used in the product development stage (testing expert, individual testing, small group testing), while the achievement test used during the field test. Criteria for success of media development is based on the evaluation of content expert, media experts, individual test, and test a small group. Also based on the analysis of the post-test scores of students, it can be seen the effective use of instructional media IKD I on student learning outcomes. Results: The results of the data analysis showed that the test class interactive learning media loaded developed conceptual change effective in optimizing learning outcomes IKD I (M = 80.08; SD = 5.93). Discussion: Through this research has successfully developed an interactive learning media charged to facilitate conceptual change classes first semester student IKD I STIKES Majapahit Singaraja. Besides, the validity of the analysis shows that interactive learning media charged velid developed conceptual change and unfit for use.Keywords: Conceptual change, interactive learning media charged conceptual change, and learning outcomes

The purpose of this study was to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The classroom action research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014 in period of January until March, as much as four times the meetings which were divided into two cycles. Each cycle was performed twice meetings and one evaluation. The subjects of the study were the  students of class XI IPA 1. To measure students' motivation and learning outcome used student’s activity data during the learning process with guidance observation data, questionnaire data and achievement test data. Then these data were analysed using descriptive analysis method. In the first cycle shows the percentage of student activities, at the first meeting and the second meeting of 45, 71% and 74, 28%. While in the second cycle, the first meeting and the second meeting of 88, 57% and 94, 28%. The Increasing of learning outcomes in the first cycle was shown learning mastery of 59, 38% with an average value of 70, 17. Whereas in second cycle was shown learning mastery of 87,50% with an  average value of 82,76. In addition, the student’s responses are positive towards learning process by implementation of cooperative learning (model STAD) in determination of acid-base solution properties and acidity of solution using natural indicators. It is based on student questionnaire answers which feel happy or satisfied (agree) was 86, 89%. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Learning activities, STAD model, Natural indicators, Learning mastery

The paper presents the results of one part of empirical research conducted for the purpose of conceiving the proposal of educational standards for the subject Geography at the end of primary school education. The goal was to determine the extent to which the students were trained to orient themselves and use cartographic method in the process of using geographical map. Research comprised the representative sample of 919 students of the final grade in 159 Serbian primary schools. Achievement Test served for studying the levels of students' knowledge and skills in the field of Geographic Skills. Besides this, the questionnaire studied students' opinion on learning outcomes in this field, and by analyzing contingency tables, the correlation between students' success in geography at the end of the first term of the eighth grade and their opinion about learning outcomes in the afore-mentioned field was determined. The findings of this research indicate that students are not sufficiently trained to orient themselves in space and on geographical map, as well as to use geographical map in instruction. Besides, it was established that there is a correlation between students' success and their opinion on learning outcomes in the field of Geographic Skills.

The purpose of the study was to investigate how structured blogging influences pre-service teachers’ writings. In this study, pre-service teachers were provided with structured guidance for blog writing to support their instructional media development, undertaken as part of their teacher education course. Content analysis was conducted to examine the distribution of the types of statements and feedback in the blog posts. The proportion of statements varied depending on the sub-topics of the posts. A large number of descriptive statements were identified in the sub-topics which asked for lesson objectives and methods of instructional media use. However, in cases where the rationale for media use was requested, a great number of evaluative statements were found. Reflective statements dominated under the sub-topic of descriptions of the pre-service teachers’ impressions of instructional media development. The most prominent feedback types in the blog comments and replies were social and affirmative. The pre-service teachers rarely used critical or suggestive feedback. However, reflective types of feedback occurred more in their replies than in their comments.

Abstract: This study is a research and development, which aims to produce instructional media, based MindManager that valid, practical and effective. The subjects were eighth grade students of SMP 27 Makassar by the number of students 39 people. This study uses the research and development according to Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques used in this research is the data on validation results obtained from the validation instrument sheet filled out by the valuator, the data for practicality level obtained from questionnaires that filled out by the valuator and practitioners, the data for effectiveness obtained from questionnaire of students' responses and mastery of student learning outcomes by intructional media based on MindManager. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness by Hobri. The research results of development instructional media based on MindManager shows that the total value of the validation results by valuator are 4.42 and included in the valid category. The average level of practicality by valuator questionnaire was 91.33% and 90.66% by practitioners. The effectiveness of the media based on the student response was 96.6% gave a positive response and mastery of learning outcomes is 89.7% of the subjects achieved a minimum level of mastery of the material. Based on these results it can be concluded that the instructional media based MindManager developed by validity, practicality and effectiveness criteria.

Student learning outcomes is still less than optimal or unsatisfactory, it can be known through the data replication midterm class XI IPA at SMAN 9 Banjarmasin. This happens because the learning methods and models used by teachers based on observations during the learning tend to be monotonous and less engaging students, so that students are less enthusiastic and less active in the following study. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model Pair Check with the type of Think Pair Square in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin. This type of research used in this research is quantitative quasi-experimental research design. This study population is all students in grade XI IPA at SMAN 9 Banjarmasin. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques are techniques achievement test and documentation. The results showed that there are differences in learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model Pair Check with the type of Think Pair Square in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin.

<p>This research is aimed to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes. The action used in improving the two things is the learning process with STAD technique. This study uses three stages: Pre Cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II, each cycle using two meetings. Research data were obtained from a student questionnaire and test with multiple choice questions. Questionnaire to know the development of learning motivation, while the test with multiple choice questions to know the development of learning outcomes. The research data is analyzed descriptively-qualitative. The results of the study explain that the implementation of learning with STAD techniques can improve student's motivation and achievement. Learning motivation in Pre Cycle obtained an average of 23.47 (medium category). While in Cycle I the average learning motivation increased to 26.57 (medium category). Percentage of students achieved high category score of 4 students (13%). Furthermore, in cycle II the average learning motivation of 33.87 (high category). Percentage of students obtained a great and very high category score of 22 students (73.3%). Thus until the end of Cycle II, learning motivation has increased. While the results of learning on the Precycle obtained an average of 61.93 (enough category), in the first cycle increased to 69.53 (enough class), in Cycle II obtained an average of 78.77 (right type). Furthermore, it is known that the percentage of learning mastery in the Pre Cycle of 3%, Cycle I of 31%, then in cycle II the rate of learning mastery increased to 86.66%. Thus until the end of Cycle II, student learning outcomes have increased. Based on the above data can be concluded that the implementation of learning STAD technique can improve learning motivation and student learning outcomes.</p>

Media Development E-Learning in Computing I course at the university.This study aims to acquire e-learning instructional media are valid for self-study student in the course of computing I. Population in the study were all students of third semester of mathematics education IKIP PGRI Semarang. This study is a research and development. In media studies e-learning development is carried out with 4 (four) stages, namely (a) a preliminary analysis, (b) Design, (c) Evaluation, (d) Revised. Processing the data using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. Corresponding results of questionnaires about the development of e-learning in the obtained value sig = 0.00 and R = 0,541, which means it affects the motivation for 54.1% of the student learning outcomes. Gained an average of better learning outcomes between the experimental class at 84.27 compared with 80.05 for the control class. The results obtained from the e-learning instructional media are valid for independent study students on computing courses I according to developmental theory Akker and student learning outcomes.
