AbstractJavanese language as a regional language along with the development era is starting to be forgotten. Various attempts to maintain language are carried out as a preservation effort so that Javanese language is not extinct. This study describes the problem of Javanese language retention in Durrotu Ahlissunnah Waljamaah Islamic Boarding School students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research data source of speech by students of Islamic Boarding School Durrotu Ahlissunnah Waljamaah. The data used is a fragment of the speech of students of the Islamic Boarding School Durrotu Ahlissunnah Waljamaah. Data collection techniques using record techniques and note taking techniques. The results of the analysis can be concluded: (1) Javanese language retention Santri Islamic Boarding School Durrotu Ahlissunnah Waljamaah consists of two forms, namely (a) a form of active detention that is the use of Javanese as a whole in which no other languages are mixed, and (2) a form of passive retention that is a form of language retention characterized by the use of Javanese but containing one foreign language element or the use of other languages but there is Javanese in it.Keywords: language retention, boarding school.

This study aims to (1) describe the existential drama Oh, Edan, and Dag Dig Dug works of Putu Wijaya which include: (a) freedom, (b) anxiety, (c) the failure, (d) the futility, (e) death, (2) describe absurdism in drama  Ah, Edan, and Dag Dig Dug by Putu Wijaya which includes: (a) suicide philosophical, (b) the nature of the symbolic,  and  (c) of tragedy and comedy. This study focuses on (1) existentialism in the drama Oh, Edan, and Dag Dig Dug  by  Putu Wijaya which include: (a) freedom, (b) anxiety, (c) the failure, (d) the futility, (e) death and (2) absurdism in drama Ah, Edan, and Dag Dig Dug. This study is qualitative research, using descriptive qualitative research data collection. Descriptive method is a method which seeks to describe a phenomenon, the events that occurred at that time. In this study, descriptive method is used  to describe the concept of existentialism and absurdism. This research data  use  existantialism theory  and absurdism in playwrights  by PutuWijaya. By using the technique with  the  data source in the form of three plays, the relevant data collection technique is a technique read. Reading the drama text data collection activities conducted by member’s attention totally focused on the object. Reading and listening is a set of techniques to obtain valid data followed by activities recorded data. This study concluded five concepts of existentialism and three concepts of absurdism. The results showed that existentialism in the drama Oh, Edan, Dag Dig Dug by Putu Wijaya, looked  in terms of freedom, anxiety, failure, futility, and  death.  Three absurdism concepts  in drama Ah, Edan, Dag Dig Dug  by  Putu Wijaya looked through suicide philosophical, symbolic nature, tragedy and comedy.

Boarding school is the oldest Islamic institution in Indonesiasince the 13th century and still exists to this day. Boardingschools have a major role not only in terms of education, but alsoin terms of political, social, and cultural. This research includedin the types of qualitative research phenomenological approach.Research data retrieved from the data source through in-depthinterviews and then analyzed with model data analysis Miles andHuberman that is implement data reduction, data display, andconclusion drawing/verification. Researchers tested the validityof research data by using the technique of triangulation ofsources. The results showed, Sayyid Hasan do boarding againsthis leadership cadre recruitment by means of formal andinformal. Formally, the leadership cadre recruitment is done withthe opportunity to give his students to participate in structuralleadership of boarding school, participate in an organizationoutside of the boarding school, studied outside of boarding schoolAl-Iman in accordance with the interests of their respectivestudents, and actively participate in the sub boarding units. As forinformally, the leadership cadre recruitment is done with themethod of awarding of exemplary and advice. Example andadvice given repeatedly, especially related to the particularity ofthe nature of the leadership owned Sayyid Hasan. The nature ofleadership which is owned by the idiosyncrasies of Sayyid Hasaninclude, the physical condition and mental healthy and strong,open towards students, and open with the public.

This study aims to analyze the pronunciation errors in diphthongs and vocals in the speech of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo in the framework of the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. The method used to collect research data is 1) refer to the method and 2) descriptive research method. The data source in this study was the speech of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo in the framework of the 74th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Data collection uses note techniques such as notes and observations. The results of this study indicate the facts contained at the phonological level, namely vowel pronunciation /u/ → /o/ (tero, agostus, repoblik, boat, haros), pronunciation of diphthongs /ey/ → /ai/ (sebagei, mulei), pronunciation of diphthongs /au/ → /o/ (ataopun, maopun, kalolah, jikalo, sodara-sodaraku).Keywords: language errors; diphthong; vocal; phonology

This article analyzes the function of imperative sentences contained in the "The Captain" movie by applying Zhang's theory of imperative sentence function. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. The data source in this research is the 2019 China movie“The Captain” (中国机长 Zhōngguó Jīzhǎng). The data are imperative words and sentences in the movie. The data collection technique used was the observation and note technique according to Mahsun, then used the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. Researchers found 281 imperative sentences in "The Captain" movie and analyzes the imperative function. The most widely used imperative function is the commanding function, which is 80 sentences. Meanwhile, the least function used was threatening function only 1 sentence. The commanding function is more dominant than other functions and found in the conversations between officers to passengers, flight attendants to passengers, communication between officers and others. The commanding function is also mostly found in the officer’s conversations, especially when they were facing an emergency situation. Meanwhile, the words used by the officers, flight attendants and the captain wereshowing respect and courtesy. So that the threathening function was less found in this movie. There are no requesting and begging functions because this movie tells about the incident of the Sichuan flight 8633, including the service of the aircraft officers and the confidence of the officers in facing the emergency situation at that time.

Abstract: This research consists of two problems. Firstly, how is the process of learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasan. Secondly, What is the Factors of learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasan. This research uses qualitative research and the data source includes the teachers and students of learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasan. And then,Data collection techniques using interviews and observationswhere the research was carried out for one month. Start from 2nd of February 2020 untill 3rd of March 2020 that the data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of this research state that the process of learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasanare effectiveexcept some problems like vocabulary difficulties in contemporary languages. So for all of students who studies this learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasanis hoped to take the time to memorize difficult vocabularies, especially in contemporary languages. And for the teachers who teaches learning reading skills using electronic newspapers at Darul Lughah wal Qur’an Boarding School Angsokah Timur Palengaan Daya Palengaan Pamekasan could be more creative and innovate so that students love Arabic more than before and they are not bored in following their learning.

This research aims to know the implementation of the management of boarding school in "Modern MBS Yogyakarta and relevance to the goals of Islamic education. The research method used is the research field (field research) with the kind of qualitative research. The technique of data collection by observation, interview and documentation in-depth while testing the validity of data using triangular engineering resources. The results of this study indicate that by looking at the concept of management of Islamic education, boarding school management in MBS Yogyakarta has significant relevance to the purposes of Islamic education conceptually as well as Islamic education values on the fulfillment aspects of competence of learners from the national education goals. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam sedangkan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan melihat konsep manajemen pendidikan Islam, manajemen boarding school di MBS Yogyakarta memiliki relevansi yang signifikan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam secara konseptual maupun nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam pada pemenuhan aspek kompetensi peserta didik yang dikembangkan dari tujuan pendidikan Nasional. AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of application of spiritual and social values which are considered important in the implementation of congregational prayers in order to achieve the goal of perfect worship, both physically and mentally. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of the spiritual and social values of students in congregational prayers at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School. To find out the process of applying the spiritual and social values of students in congregational prayers, as well as their implications for the lives of students at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The data collection tools used observational analysis, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that spiritual values are values contained in the human soul, which in the human soul has a spirit. The essence of spiritual value is the spirit. Everyone must have a spirit and that spirit is in their own soul. The only one who knows about the spirit is Allah while the creatures do not. While social values are values held by society, regarding what is considered good and what is considered bad by society.Keywords: Social Values, Spiritual Values, Islamic Boarding School

<p><em>The research aims to: 1.) determine the role of pesantren in the millennial perspective, and 2.) determine the pattern of leadership in Islamic boarding schools in the millennial perspective. It is interesting to study the development of Islamic boarding schools in the millennial era as a legacy of education during the Islamic era, particularly its role in the millennial perspective and its leadership pattern. The qualitative research method was used in this study. All leaders, caregivers, teachers, residents near the Islamic boarding school, and students at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar comprise the research population. Purposive random sampling was used to select the research sample. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used to collect research data. Data triangulation is used to verify the accuracy of the data. This research yielded the following findings is Islamic boarding schools, in their role in the millennial era, can keep up with the times. still exist and are improving. This Islamic Boarding School is a salafiyah that can keep up with the times as well as Science and Technology without departing from the existing guidelines. Without departing from the rules enshrined in Islam's teachings.</em></p>

At present the development of business world is increasingly rapid in Indonesia. However, the problem with EMKM is that there are not many EMKMs that are able to hold records, bookkeeping, and even financial reporting.Borneo Food Truck Samarinda Community have not been able to carry out and implement recording, bookkeeping, and financial reporting in their entities. The research objectives to be find out whether Borneo Food Truck Samarinda Community can implement this SAK EMKM in 2018 and to find out the obstacles faced in implementing the SAK EMKM in Borneo Food Truck Samarinda. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, documentation and observation. The result showed that of the thirty three UMKM Borneo Food Truck Samarinda Community respondents there were ten UMKM that made journals, inventory data, sales data and prepared financial reports and twenty three UMKM that did not make accounting records.
