It creates the free time and free activities needed for human development, provides an exploratory plan for the modern society to move toward the sharing economy, and brings many development relations issues that we need to face and examine objectively. From the perspective of human development, this paper deeply discussed the development progress of digital economy through specific cases. We believe that the digital economy breaks the rigid and rational world of humankind based on causality but makes more possible correlations become the philosophical support behind the digital economy model, thereby creating more possibilities for.

This research proposed a model to assist the design of the associated data architecture and data analytic to support talent forecast in the current accelerating changes in economy, industry and business change due to the accelerating pace of technological change. The emerging and re-emerging economy model were available, such as Industrial revolution 4.0, platform economy, sharing economy and token economy. Those were driven by new business model and technology innovation. An increase capability of technology to automate more jobs will cause a shift in talent pool and workforce. New business model emerge as the availabilityand the cost effective emerging technology, and as a result of emerging or re-emerging economic models. Both, new business model and technology innovation, create new jobs and works that have not been existed decades ago. The future workers will be faced by jobs that may not exist today. A dynamics model of inter-correlation of economy, industry, business model and talent forecast were proposed. A collection of literature review were conducted to initially validate the model.

When studying human society, Karl Marx affirmed that all changes in social life, in the end, originate from the transformation of the productive forces. The development of productive forces is expressed through the conquest of the nature of men. Productive forces reflect the actual capability of men in the process of creating wealth for society and ensuring human development. In any society, in order to create wealth, both workers and means of production are needed. Without instruments for the labor process, men cannot create wealth. That development provides us with more convincing practical evidence to continue affirming Karl Marx’s precise view of the productive forces, and at the same time requires us to supplement and develop his view on this issue inconsistent with reality. In the current context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is essential to clarify all the practical capabilities used in the production process of the society over the world’s development periods to promote social development. Therefore, this article clarifies the basic arguments to analyze Karl Marx’s view on the productive forces and see the need to refresh and supplement Karl Marx’s theory in the current situation.

The article deals with the development of human society under the conditions of change of the final technological pattern existing before the 4th industrial revolution. The change is associated with the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) as one of the catalysts of sustainable progress in the development of social and industrial relations in the modern society. It is stated that progress in the field of industrial relations and technologies developing conformity with the exponential law. At the same time, according to the law, the so-called point of technological singularity appears on the time scale of the development when the development path of what is referred to as machine intelligence becomes unpredictable. Various behavior scenarios and the use of artificial intelligence (AI), including its machine learning tools employed for the adverse purposes of enslaving human society, are considered. However, recent studies of mathematicians prove that the possibilities of AI are not unlimited. Like the human mind, AI is limited by the paradoxes of the theory of sets. In this regard, in the development and application of ICT, it is necessary to implement the integrated level of ICT fusion with the evolutionary development of personality and society that would not lead to the suppression of the human thought process by the services of technocratic means.

Analyzed is the problem of convergence of various branches of the natural sciences and the humanities due to the change in technological orders led to the emergence of the concept of technological convergence. Further development and formation of this concept led to the realization of the need to continue the safe development of the technosphere due to the emergence of fundamentally new technologies and resources that should be created on the basis of living objects in the ecosphere. The solution of such promising problems led to the emergence of convergent technologies based on the mutual penetration of nano-, bio-, information, cognitive and socio-humanitarian sciences. These technologies formed the basis for the formation of the concept of the fourth industrial revolution, formulated by K. Schwab. The technologies of the fourth industrial revolution entail global transformations of the technological order, the socio-culture of the ecosystem of modern human society, transform the physical world, cause human change and significantly transform the modern educational landscape. The origin and content of the term “Industry 4.0” has been determined. The analysis and characteristics of the main technologies of Industry 4.0, which are determined by socio-economic and revolutionary technological changes taking place in modern society, are presented. The influence of industry 4.0 technologies on the content of vocational education, teaching methods and forms of organizing educational activities is established. The problems of digital transformation of education, caused by cardinal and systemic changes associated with the emergence and promising development of industry 4.0 technologies, have been identified.

This chapter focuses on the role computers and artificial intelligence could play for future education in our modern society of knowledge and globalization. The rapid industrial and technological development of the last 150 years has caused radical changes to the traditional human society. As a result, formal education at all levels, from elementary to tertiary, faces the great challenge of preparing students for the forthcoming era of a new but not yet well-known industrial revolution, characterized by the internet of things and energy and the cyber-physical systems controlled through it. It is concluded that it is unlikely for computers and other “clever” AI machines to replace teachers in the future, because all these devices were created and programmed by humans. It is therefore logical to accept that they will never be able to achieve the quality and independence of human thought. However, it is certain that the role of the teacher will dramatically change in future classrooms.

Received 17.09.2020. The author undertakes an attempt to analyze the impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic on the phenomenon of the sharing economy and the viability of this business model in force majeure circumstances. The sharing economy is a business model of the digital economy, born by the fourth industrial revolution during the Great Recession of 2008 and developing in the context of the unprecedented economic crisis of 2020, when the impact of the coronavirus pandemic simultaneously collapsed production, financial markets and consumer demand for goods and services, and the task of “conscious consumption” – to spend money correctly and reduce costs – became vital. The concept does not focus on ownership but rather on the sharing of assets and resources. A predictive construct is given: the sharing economy is not so much the introduction of new technologies to implement the world-old idea of renting on digital platforms, but a new paradigm of production and consumption and as such leads to a circular economy, causes systemic changes that form qualitatively new principles of business organization, the economy and society as a whole. The study concluded that the sharing model has proven its viability not only in a period of stable economic development, but also in a contemporary crisis, which is caused by the COVID‑19 pandemic. Moreover, it was during this period of force majeure that the sharing economy model showed its importance both in everyday life and in business. This allows us to conclude about the further growth of the sharing economy, the creation of new services – both in spite of and thanks to the COVID‑19 pandemic.

The history of human society is replete with examples of advances in technology overrunning the ability of societal organizations to efficiently handle the resulting massive societal dislocations. The social impacts of the “Industrial Revolution of the 18th and 19th Centuries” illustrate how profound such effects can be. The automation-computer-robotics revolution now underway also has the potential for serious societal changes. In this regard public works activities are subject to increasing amounts of automation with impacts upon current and net total employment and training needs. To evaluate the present status of automation in the USA, questionnaires were sent to public works authorities in 110 cities or agencies. The current degree of automation, the impact upon employment and the skills now needed by public works employers were queried. It was found that in most cases automation was just starting; but that as complete automation as was possible was inevitable given the increasing complexity of the tasks, the demands of the public and the long term prospects for public works funding. In many cases the candidates now in the work force were not properly trained for automation needs. Retraining and changes in the educational system appeared necessary if the employees now needed were to be continuously available. Public works management as well as several labor organizations appeared to be aware of this need and were organizing to handle the training problem and the changes in employment qualifications now necessary. It appeared to be a consensus that the larger societal effects of automation should be handled by society as a whole.
