About 10,000 years ago, at the beginning of the agriculturalrevolution, on the whole earth lived between 5 and 8 million hunter-gatherers, all belonging to the Homo sapiens species. Five thousand years later, freed from the primary needs for survival, some belonging to that species enjoyed the privilege of devoting themselves to philosophical speculation and the search for transcendental truths. It was only in the past two hundred years, however, with the advent of the Industrial Revolution, that reaping nature’s secrets and answering fundamental questions posed by the Universe have become for many full-time activities, on the way to becoming a real profession. Today the number of scientists across the globe has reached and exceeded 10 million, that is, more than the whole human race 10,000 years ago. If growth continues at the current rate, in 2050 we will have 35 million people committed full-time to scientific research. With what consequences, it remains to be understood. For almost forty years I myself have been concerned with science in a continuing, direct, and passionate way. Today I perceive, along with many colleagues, especially of my generation, that things are evolving and have changed deeply, in ways unimaginable until a few years ago and, in some respects, not without danger. What has happened in the world of science in recent decades is more than likely a mirror of a similar and equally radical transformation taking place in modern society, particularly with the advent ...

The development of information technology has a big influence in supporting business continuity among producers, consumers, distributors, and financial service institutions. The development of Financial Technology (Fintech) has now become a trend in modern society that follows the current developments. The positive side of technological development, especially in supporting fast and smooth financial services, can actually create a large gap in the readiness of the use of technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. Without strong preparation, this will increasingly create a big gap in the formation of the Fintech technology-based fraud chain. This paper discusses how a qualitative research using the grounded research model can find out the use of recht vacuum loopholes to commit fraud in the exploitation of technology. In addition, it also encourages the establishment of a regulation that supports the creation of a healthy Fintech ecosystem which is the main key in increasing Indonesia's economic growth. Factors influencing the occurrence of fraud include the lack of public knowledge about how to transact using Fintech, the looseness of applicable regulations, the arrogance of Fintech consumer in utilizing bug software Fintech to get profit as much as possible without thinking about legal consequences, the arrogance of the Fintech company in minimizing the large risks that will occur, and not maximum formation of the Fintech ecosystem with other traditional financial service institutions. The situation is exacerbated by the unavailability of the Whistleblowing System (WBS) through a complaint channel specifically for Fintech. The establishment of the Fintech ecosystem, with the adoption of an anti-fraud system as one of the factors that drive Indonesia's economic growth, can be done by creating a technology-savvy community, especially Fintech; making an integrity pact to support anti-fraud and anti-money laundering among regulators, the Fintech association, and the Fintech companies at the time of making official registration with the regulator; Regulators need to get rid of egotism between institutions by synchronizing verbally or nonverbally through technology channels that are automatically integrated between state institutions and preparing special channels for whistleblower systems or consumer complaints channel specifically for Fintech.

The presence in society of a formed middle class, which makes up the majority of the country's population, is a guarantee of stability and sustainable development of state. It is the middle class that represents active economic entities that effectively implement the main economic functions and participate in socio-economic relations. The presence and formation of a middle class should be a priority task for the state. In the article, the authors explore various approaches to the concept and criteria of the middle class. The income characteristics of the middle class are analyzed (average per capita, median, modal incomes, income distribution of the population, indicators of income differentiation). The features of the middle class in modern Russia are revealed, among which there is a significant heterogeneity of the middle class, determined by regional specifics, social characteristics and social status. The ambiguity of the definition of the middle class, the lack of its clear criteria, and as a result, its significant heterogeneity in Russia, complicates the analysis and assessment of the middle class in our country, and, as a result, reduces the effectiveness of measures taken aimed at the formation and development of the middle class. It is necessary to understand that the extraordinary dynamism of the development of modern society, the digitalization of all spheres of socio-economic relations, the consequences associated with the fourth industrial revolution will greatly affect the structure of society, the conditions and standard of living of the entire population.

Abstract Not only does modernization offer technological sophistication and convenience for all human activities, but this phenomenon also presents a phase called the post-truth era. This phenomenon occurs when the loss of the existence of scientists or intelligentsia by the anti-intellectualism movement which is called the death of expertise. The term death of expertise which was popularized by Tom Nichols eventually became so popular globally including in Indonesia. At least the post-truth era, the death of expertise and the industrial revolution 4.0 became a very popular issue in Indonesia, so that it indirectly showed stuttering and acute inferiority in the scientific tradition in Indonesia. Because in the 90s the Indonesian Muslim scholar Kuntowijoyo had dismissed the phenomena and problems of modern society through his collection of essays such as Muslims without Mosques and Political Identity of Muslims. Therefore this paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach aimed at describing the urgency of the re-actualization and revitalization of prophetic social science in the perspective of Kuntowijoyo's thoughts. In addition, the Prophetic Social Sciences (ISP) is also placed in the Indonesian context so that Indonesia is able to have an authentic scientific tradition, and be able to deliver the Indonesian people to face all the challenges of changing times without losing the humanity and rationality. Furthermore, this paper also presents the problem of the development of science in Indonesia to highlight the urgency of the reactualization of prophetic Social Sciences in the scientific tradition in Indonesia. Keywords: Reactualization, Prophetic Social Sciences and Kuntowijyo.

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, astronomers as well as modern society in general cannot turn away from the reality of virtual life. People get information, read and study any knowledge is very easy because everything is available in their hands. Faced with this condition, what about astronomy scholarship? Amid the assumption that astronomy and experts are very rare. So astronomers are demanded to be able to adapt and develop themselves with 'literacy' technology to be able to package the astronomy knowledge and present its content to the public easily and to construct it in digital form. Why does this virtual reality have to be faced and how to deal with it? Associated with efforts to answer the needs of the public about astronomical scholarship in virtual reality, various innovations and creativity of astronomers emerged in the form of digitizing material, books (books) and astronomical applications. This variety of innovations will increase the interest of millennial students to learn and master it. Through this paper,-some of the digitization pattern-, the author will study it with the content analysis method and describe it descriptively-interpretatively. From the results of studies, the author has led to a conclusion that; the first, found a number of patterns of celestial scientific digitalization; from the side of the content, the digital astronomical material consists of the calculation of qibla direction, prayer time, the beginning of the month and eclipse and the practice of its determination, from the media aspect, the astronomy knowledge is presented through social media, such as facebook, instagram, whatsApp and youtube; through website-based media, such as bimasislam.kemenag.go.id, and if.walisongo.ac.id., in the form of smartphone applications, such as digital falak, mizwandroid, qiblat, usholli and so on. While the design of the presentation is varied, in the form of text, video, images and pdf. The second, each of these patterns has made a valuable contribution to the virtual learning of astronomy for millennial society in the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

— Convenient routine of riding in a public transport is by at large, a primary concern of the commuters as they conform on their safety while reaching such destinations. Vital to this, transportation resembles a big role in our modern society specifically when reaching any destination while carrying goods and service not only for convenience but also safety. Since the earliest days of the industrial revolution, transportation has smoothed economic development by moving materials, resources, products, and people. Rural areas in the Philippines are known in the use of “Trikes” or Tri-bike, a motorcycle attached to a side car, in transporting from one place to another. “iSakay” is a Filipino word meaning “ride” or “to book for a ride”. Due to the increasing needs of the commuters in the rural areas, ineffectiveness in communication with the drivers have still experienced and mostly, the difficulty in acquiring a ride in tribike becomes a problem. The researchers came up with an idea of designing and developing an Android-Based booking system that centralizes the transport management of the tri-bikes in the rural areas around the Philippines. The centralized booking system can massively produce a dashboard by means of showing data analytics via “cloud” as input and guide for the future enhancement and development of the tri-bike management system. The researchers utilized waterfall model in the development of the said software which in turns led to emanate beneficial solution to the commuters. The systems’ functionality, reliability and accuracy are tested and evaluated which in turns gives a very simple yet important recommendation easing the normal problems faced by those rural areas in the Philippines
