The paper discusses the issues of teaching nationality languages of Russia to preschool children, taking the Udmurt language and culture as an example. The relevance of the study is dermined by the scientific data according to which ethnic stereotypes in behaviour are formed most intensively in preschool age. Getting acquainted with new cultures and languages is particularly important for preschool education in multinational regions as it prevents the development of ethnocentric personalities. The paper aimed at a detailed analysis of the didactic and substantive content of the educational programme “Zarni bugor” (“Golden ball”) (hereinafter referred as the Programme) with the elements of teaching the Udmurt language to children from 4 to 7; the Programme is to be realised within three years in the Russian group of kindergarten № 5 in the town of Agryz, Republic of Tatarstan. The novelty of the Programme lies in introducing the Udmurt language (along with Tatar and Russian) into the educational process of the kindergarten. The research methods are theoretical (the study of academic literature on the problems of intercultural education in a multi-ethnic region) and empirical (observation and behavioral analysis of preschoolers). The system of exercises included into the Programme, its content, the forms and methods of teaching preschoolers present a consistant didactic material for teaching the Udmurt language and culture in this age group. The programme is expected to provide a high level of intercultural competence corresponding to the age of children, it is supposed to arouse their interest in the Udmurt language and culture, make them open for perception of other cultures.

The subject of this research is the analysis of didactic works used in the late XVIII — early XIX centuries in the educational process of the first Russian institutes for women — the Educational Society of Noble Maidens and School of the Order of St. Catherine in St. Petersburg. The new secular upbringing and education – one of the core ideas of the European Enlightenment, at that time was perceived in Russia as a state task, which required the establishment of closed educational institutions, such as cadet corps and institutes for women. The primary method for distribution of pedagogical ideas was moralizing literature of the Western European educators, which were translated into the Russian language and became available for the audience; and the second half of the XVIII century marks the emergence of publications of the Russian authors. This article is first to follow the sequence of changes of textbooks and “books for reading” selected for the students of the Educational Society of Noble Maidens and School of the Order of St. Catherine in St. Petersburg using hermeneutic method, as well as conduct their historical-comparative analysis based on the principle of historicism. The translated works of the Western European educators were replaced by the curriculum specifically created for the Russian female students at the request of the Empress Maria Feodorovna, which included the advanced ideas of both Western and national educators. It was another step in a difficult path towards establishment of the national pedagogical system.

The development of coherent dialogical speech is most effectively carried out in preschool age, since this period is favorable for the development of the ability to master oral speech. However, this problem is not always given due attention within the framework of the educational process of preschool institutions, the work is carried out mainly in special classes on speech development. Besides, in various types of organized educational activities, there are great opportunities for teaching dialogue to children, one of which may be a workshop. The empirical part of the work was carried out on a sample of 50 children from the pre-primary education group, at the age of 6-7 years attending the preschool educational institution "Kindergarten No. 26" in the city of Kirov (Kirov region, Russian Federation). For diagnosing their level of dialogic speech development, the methodology for identifying the level of development of dialogical communication skills by M.M. Alekseeva, V.I. Yashina; diagnostics of dialogical speech development in preschool children by A.V. Chulkova. The statistical analysis was carried out through mathematical statistics – Pearson’s test. On the basis of the data obtained, it was concluded that productive activity is an effective means of developing the dialogical speech of senior preschool children; speech skills and abilities include the ability to make contact; the ability to make a request for information; replication; possession of speech etiquette; communication emotionality; the ability to compose a dialogue. The effectiveness of workshops as a means of developing the dialogical speech of 6-7-year-old children can be ensured by creating the following conditions: providing children with the opportunity to conduct dialogues at all technological stages of the workshop; implementation of various forms of organizing children’s joint activities; providing children with the opportunity to organize exhibitions, presentations and playing around hand-made crafts. In the process of applying the technology, the possibilities of each stage of developing children’s speech skills should be taken into account. According to the results of the experimental group χ2emp=31.922, which exceeds the critical value, therefore, the discrepancies between the distributions are statistically valid. The prospect of the study is to study the development of children’s communication skills during the workshop.

The current ecological state of the environment determines the relevance of environmental education for the younger generation. The problem of ecological upbringing of children of preschool age is considered in the researches of many scholars and teachers. Based on the study of scientific works, we identified three structural components of the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children: cognitive, activity and value-motivational. American scientists, studying the problem of children's attitude to nature, offer the concept of «biofilia» and «biophobia». The scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «pedagogical technology» are generalized and formulated as the creation of an optimally organized educational process, developed on the basis of a systematic approach and aimed at the planned result. It is proved that for the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children, it is necessary to use traditional and non-traditional pedagogical technologies in order to implement systematic and targeted educational impact on children, using current methods. Studying the peculiarities of the formation of the ecological and natural competence of preschool children, the necessity of creation and proper use of developing ecological environment in pre-school establishments, organization of children's activities in nature, as well as systematic work with children was clarified. The experience of using pedagogical technologies for the ecological upbringing of preschool children, in particular the creation of an ecological footprint, the technology of regional studies and tourism activities, the experimental research activity of preschoolers in nature and the technology of using the author's fairy tale, which allows raising the level of ecological upbringing of preschoolers and forming the natural and ecological competence of a preschool child, is briefly highlighted. The analysis of the experience of using environmental technologies from different countries proves that the main task of preschool education is to promote environmental education and awareness of preschool children.

The world is constantly changing and the roles of men and women in modern society are changing accordingly. In recent years, public interest in gender issues has significantly increased. Among the remarkable achievements of the indigenous science is the study of the phenomenon of gender identification, the influence of gender stereotypes and gender polarization in preschool age. In a "gendered" society, the appropriate gender-role identification of children is carried out, which determines the specifics of primary gender socialization, becomes an internal regulator of social activity of an individual. Gender, established at birth, cannot mechanically determine the type of gender identification, that is why its formation is a complex process of choosing and mastering one of the two patterns of gender behavior. The topic of our study is relevant because of the importance of the period of gender and age identification of the adolescent, whose clear and irreversible idea of his gender is being formed, as well as understanding and acceptance of the roles of sexes, recognition of the irreversibility of gender as a major component of self-awareness and self-identification.Child's gender perceptions are actively formed in preschool age and are an integral component of person's gender identity. Child masters the social norms, patterns of behavior and cultural values of his/her nation. The gender approach to the upbringing of the preschool children should be focused on the formation and establishment of equal, gender-independent opportunities for self-realization of the individual. However as practical experience shows, the gender component and its methodological data are insufficient in terms of the content of preschool education. In preschool institutions, gender education takes place spontaneously, educators use the traditional approach to forming child's self-esteem and his stereotypes of self-perception only on the basis of gender, so it is important today to pay more attention to gender education and socialization.Experimentally it has been investigated the peculiarities of gender and age identification of the preschoolers of the preschool institution of a combined type #9 of the city of Chernivtsi. According to the research, the greater part of children of 5-6 years old are aware of their belonging to the male or female sex, having the already formed gender identity. Gender perceptions of preschool children are gender-appropriate: girls’ - feminine, and boys’ – masculine. In addition, they are stereotypical: boys have instrumental role, girls-expressive.We believe that gender approach is the theoretical basis for effective learning, education and socialization, and a priority part of modern education.

Intensive renewal of the socio-economic, scientific and technical spheres and the spiritual life of society determines high requirements for the capacity of the individual. Graduates of higher educational institutions determine the future of our country, so they must not only have a high level of professional readiness, but also be physically enduring, efficient and healthy. These personality traits are formed and improved during the student years by means of physical education. Physical education in higher educational institutions is an integral part of education. The level of their physical development and health depends on the quality of the organization and conduct of classes with students. At present, the health of the younger generation is of serious concern. Numerous works of modern researchers point to an increase in the level of diseases and focus on a decrease in the functional resistance of the body of students to physical activity. The subject of the research is the methodology of using means of physical culture and health-improving orientation in physical education classes. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of physical culture and health-improving orientation classes on the physical fitness of first-year students. Research objectives: to conduct an analysis of scientific and methodological literature and advanced pedagogical experience in relation to the topic under study; to determine the level of physical fitness of female students, using complex testing and to reveal the dynamics of indicators of physical fitness; to develop a program of physical education classes to improve the level of physical fitness and health of female students; to experimentally check the developed training methodology and determine its feasibility of introducing it into the educational process in physical education. In the course of organizing and conducting a scientific experiment, the following methods were used: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, control testing, mathematical processing of results. The study involved first-year students who study at the National University "Odesa Law Academy" and do not play sports. In the course of the experiment, a program of physical education classes was developed, which included sets of exercises for the development of physical qualities, as well as a health-improving orientation. These complexes were used in each physical education lesson twice a week on a schedule. The study made it possible to draw the following conclusions. The analysis of the results shows that at the initial stage of the research the majority of female students showed low results in all the tests. After conducting classes according to our methodology, at the second stage of the experiment, the results for some tests improved significantly. Thus, the proposed program of health related training had a positive impact on the results of physical fitness of female students.

The paper considers the use of health-saving environment in preschool educational institutions. The health-preserving environment model allows a child to develop favorably in a preschool educational institution. In the process of testing this model, we used the following research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, morphofunctional indicators, analysis of physical fitness, methods of mathematical statistics. Initial analysis of morphofunctional indicators showed that all indicators meet the standards for this age of children, but the level of these indicators is not high enough. The analysis of physical indicators of preschool children corresponds to the average value for this age, but a large percentage cannot meet these requirements for the level of physical fitness. We obtained positive results in the course of the experiment for all the studied indicators, after the introduction of our model.
