Education system constitutes an important stage in growing, developing, and strengthening the character of younger generation. This means that the objectives of education at the institutional level (school) can be a representation of the goals of national education that covers character education. The study aimed to describe the implementation of the curriculum of local Islamic content through curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular programs at SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama/junior high school) Al-Amanah Cileunyi to shape the character of students in accordance with Islamic morals. This study applied a naturalistic qualitative approach. The approach is used due to the problems that are currently occurring naturally at the present time, namely student character education at SMP Al-Amanah Cileunyi. The research finding showed that  SMP Al-Amanah Cileunyi has a local Islamic content curriculum, both as a subject matter and an extra-curricular activity, Islamic local content that applies at SMP Al-Amanah Cileunyi featuring character values that are originated from the Islamic teachings, and eighteen national character values as determined by the government, and the implementation of Islamic local content is through the activities of self-development, habituation, extra-curricular, exemplary, and the integration of character education within learning process. However, there are some problems encountered in its implementation, among others due to inconsistent attitudes of school community and the gap between character education programs and their implementation. The result of character education through the implementation of Islamic local content is shown by the qualitative scores in the report book, and the increasing trust of parents and the community to SMP Al-Amanah Cileunyi.

Kurangnya moral anak bangsa saat sekarang ini, seperti pembegal yang marak dilakukan oleh kalangan pelajar SMP atau SMA, seks bebas, pornografi, narkoba, dan minum minuman keras sudah membuat miris kalangan pendidik. Karena pendidikan moral anak tidak hanya tugas keluarga, tapi juga guru sebagai pendidik. Dan tidak hanya tugas guru agama, tapi guru mata pelajaran biologi. Melalui pembelajaran berkarakter disekolah, dapat diharapkan lulusannya memiliki keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Allah swt, berakhlak mulia, berkarakter mulia, komptensi akademik yang utuh dan terpadu, sekaligus memiliki kepribadian yang baik sesuai norma-norma dan budaya Indonesia. Hal ini, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional indonesia. Pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan yang membangun kulaitas moral yang bersifat positif. Pembelajaran biologi mengajarkan kita mencintai ciptaan Allah SWT, karena pencipta dari ruang lingkup biologi adalah Allah SWT. Wujud cinta kepada Allah SWT adalah menjalankan segala perintah-Nya serta menjaduhi segala larangan-Nya. The research is an inventory aimed at identifying and categorizing the character values in the English package books for students of Islamic Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah by considering their relevance to Islamic character values in the Quran and Hadits. The method used was content analysis following Bogdan and Biklen model by analyzing, grouping, sorting, and synthesizing the values taken from the package books to draw the patterns.  The patterns were discussed to conclude the final findings to be disseminated as the list of inventory.  The main data source was the English package books published by the government and the supporting data were the Core Competencies taken from Curriculum 2013 for Junior High School (SMP) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) or Islamic Junior High School students. There are 10 values inserted in the package books that are relevant to the Islamic religious characters. The result showed various English expressions relevant to Islamic character values which have a long-term and sustainable effect as a reference for character building by English teachers in developing English supplementary materials for Islamic Junior High School students.

The aim of National education is to create a generation that has good character and noble character. But 8 of 10 children experienced bullying cases in Indonesia stay on 4th in cases of child abuse. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas as an educational figure in contemporary Islamic times. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. Strengthening Education forms good human character, Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas uses the concept of ta'dib, which is to instill good manners to form praiseworthy personalities in humans that encompass habits, character and habits. Strengthening character education at Al-Ishlah Cibinong Junior High School based on the Qur'an in planning, management, implementation and evaluation. Strengthening character education is highly needed in junior high schools by applying the model model, learning in class, integrating with all subject matter, integrating in Intrakulikuler, Kokurikuler and Extracurricular activities, empowerment and coaching.

The Impact

Realizing the character building on students is a national education goal. The character education is very important for the students. Therefore, the socialization and enculturation of national character education in schools by using an effective and efficient method are needed. This study aims to understand the process of socialization of character education in elementary school, to find the effective way of socialization models of national character education for students in elementary school through comics, and to determine the impact of socialization models of national character education for students in elementary school through the comic for the character building of students. This research was conducted using qualitative methods (Research & Development). The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that the socialization of the nations character education in primary schools is done in several ways; integrated with in the curriculum through the school management, and through extracurricular programs. Those ways do not seem to produce maximum results. Socialization model of the national character of education in the elementary schools through the comic is more effective to apply, because students are more interested in the visualization of interesting and familiar images.Menyadari pembangunan karakter siswa adalah tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pendidikan karakter sangat penting bagi para siswa. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi dan enkulturasi pendidikan karakter bangsa di sekolah-sekolah dengan menggunakan metode yang efektif dan efisien diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses sosialisasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar, untuk menemukan cara yang efektif untuk model sosialisasi pendidikan karakter bangsa bagi siswa di sekolah dasar melalui komik, dan untuk menentukan dampak dari model sosialisasi pendidikan karakter bangsa bagi siswa di sekolah dasar melalui komik untuk membangun karakter siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif (Research & Development). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi pendidikan karakter bangsa di sekolah dasar ini dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, terintegrasi dengan subjek termasuk, melalui manajemen sekolah, dan melalui program ekstrakurikuler. Mereka cara tampaknya tidak menghasilkan hasil yang maksimal. Model Sosialisasi karakter nasional pendidikan di sekolah dasar melalui komik lebih efektif untuk diterapkan, karena siswa lebih tertarik pada visualisasi gambar yang menarik dan akrab.

Japan’s national education policy puts importance on children learning to program. In fact, course guidelines published by the government in 2008 made the programming of the measurement and control compulsory in junior high schools, and learning programming will be made compulsory in elementary schools in 2020. This research studies robotics classes for elementary and junior high school students. The tasks set for the robots used in each class are familiar to children, and they were set with the aim of inspiring a proactive learning attitude in the children. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of robots in teaching programming to children.

The purpose of this research was to describe and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of responsible character education based on school culture. A qualitative approach is taken in this investigation. An SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga sample was used in the analysis. In order to gather accurate information about the subject matter, the authors employ qualitative research methods, such as interviews and documentation. There are two ways to implement educational character education in the classroom: first, incorporate it into the school's curricula and rules, then spread the word to the students and staff. Character education for responsibility is carried out by incorporating the character of responsibility into self-development programs, subjects, and school culture. 2. This includes classroom and school-wide activities in which character values are taught and practiced. Students' attitudes are assessed as a means of evaluating responsibility character education.

The media serves to direct students to gain various learning experiences. The aim of this study is to know the feasibility of interactive multimedia development in children' story of character education-based. Sources of data in this study were obtained from: 1) Respondents: 7th grade students of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan which amount to 23 students, 2) Informants: validators, students and Indonesian language teachers of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan. The results of the feasibility of learning media validation by instructional media design experts was declared "very good" The assessment of the content feasibility aspect was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 91%. The assessment of the presentation feasibility was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 83%. The assessment of the graphic feasibility was declared "good" with a total average percentage of 77%.
