The tendencies of women change is because of the opened opportunities for the women. This Phenomenon gives the opportunities to the women to express their potential. But it will be a problem if the women don’t understand the role of gender totally. So, counseling has to give the right understanding in expressing their potential.

European universities responded in different ways to the ‘refugee crisis’ of 2015. Some subscribed to the agenda of higher education (HE) as a universal human right, while others stressed different long-term benefits of offering access to it. Yet, the unprecedented sense of moral urgency that guided immediate declarations of support and subsequent actions has largely remained unaddressed. With the crisis becoming a new reality for many countries, HE has a role to play in the social inclusion of refugees, even in countries that were not attractive destinations for refugees in the past. In this article, we provide an overview of the reasons why HE institutions supported refugees, and present the results of an empirical study of Poland and Austria during the 2015–2016 academic year. We then evaluate those first responses utilizing parts of Ager and Strang’s framework of integration, and discuss issues of institutional readiness, capabilities and the public role of HE stemming from this comparison. Our findings suggest that reasons such as acknowledgement of basic rights, or utilizing social capital are insufficient to explain and understand strong integrative support measures. We propose that refugee support by HE institutions is both better understood and promoted through the language of hospitality.

The article examines the place and role of women in the social life of London in the 14th–15th centuries based on the material of the original sources. It is shown that, despite the restrictions fixed by custom and laws on the social activity of women, the range of occupations of the townsmen –wives and widows – was unusually wide. It is craft and trade, including the right to take apprentices, real estate transactions, and financial deals. Women did not just help men in the craft or trade shops, but also worked independently. The status of women, especially married women, who chose to participate in trade or in town production as their main occupation, was never fully developed. A significant degradation in the position of women in the public sphere in London occurred in the 16th century. The author concludes that, despite all the difficulties, a new type of woman was gradually developed in the city – energetic, enterprising, educated, who acts in society as an independent head of the family and business.

Divisions based on the assumption that men and women are different from one another permeate all areas of social life as well as varying across space and between places. In the home and in the family, in the classroom or in the labour market, in politics, and in power relations, men and women are assumed to be different, to have distinct rights and obligations that affect their daily lives and their standard of living. Thirty years ago, there were no courses about gender in British geography departments. This chapter discusses the challenges to geographical knowledge, and to the definition of knowledge more generally, that have arisen from critical debates about the meaning of difference and diversity in feminist scholarship. It examines a number of significant conceptual ideas, namely: the public and the private; sex, gender and body; difference, identity and intersectionality; knowledge; and justice. Finally, it comments on the role of feminism in the academy as a set of political practices as well as epistemological claims.

The Seminary influence on the governorate social life development was an integral part of social processes in the period of 1867-1884, which formed the prototype of the modern education practice. Identification of the Seminary role in the Tambov Governorate social life of the 19th century is a research component of this study, which affects the knowledge of the spiritual and moral education of society current state. Manuscript drafting source was the archival data of Tambov eparchy clergy activities of the late 19th century, the periodical press data of the same period. We interpret the obtained sources in the logic of the general civilized approach to the study of Seminary as an institution of social life characterized by regional aspects. Studies of the role of Seminary in social life have shown the sequence of its formation and development, its further socialization in the social life of the governorate. Special importance is attached to the Tambov Seminary in the years of transformations. Spiritual and moral influence of the Seminary on contemporaries, its increasingly active participation in the public life of the city, the change of its moral appearance contributed to the increase in the authority (role) of the Seminary in the social life of the Tambov Governorate.

[

Nashr Hamid Abu Zayd’s Hermeneutics: Analysis Hadiths of Divorce. It is not expected by any family, unless the circumstances have been urgent. The Prophet explained that although divorce is a permissible issue, it is a decision that God hates the most. Two issue that are always discussed by scholar in this issue are the right to file for divorce and the concept of “talak tiga” (the third divorcing), which is considered favor husbands over wifes. The article was written to reexamine various main divorce issues in modern views. Some of the probles are the right to file for divorce, the purpose of talak tiga, and the reconciliation. For these purposes, the author uses Nashr Hamid Abu Zayd’s hermeneutics as a approach. The use of Abu Zayd’s hermeneutics is divorce issues is approriate, because his hermeneutics were developed to address the social and human right gaps, especially issues relating to men and women, as he exemplified in the problem of polygamy and inhertance rights. By using Abu Zayd’s theory of five hermeneutical contexts, namely the socio-cultural context, external context, internal context, language context, and takwil context, the research resulted in the conclusion that Islam does not want the divorce happen. Even, it can be said that divorce is prohibitted in Islam. Islamic texts show how divorce is the last option for a marriage relationship.]

This paper examines gender in an Islamic perspective. In Islam there are several controversy issues related to gender relations, including the origin of the creation of women, the concept of inheritance, witnessing, polygamy, reproductive rights, the rights of female divorces, and the public role of women. This fact will be very interesting if it is related to the Koran as the main source of Islamic teachings. Al-Quran does not deny the existence of differences (distinction) between men and women but these differences are not differences (discrimination) that benefit one party and harm the other party. By basing on the main sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Koran and Hadith, it was found some disclosures of the meaning of words related to gender such as al-rajul wa al-nisa, al-zakar wa al-untsa and al-mar'u and al-mar'ah. Various explanations in detail and globally regarding the position of men and women in accordance with their respective nature. They are created in pairs, like two sides of a coin that cannot be separated in an effort to expand their duties as khalifatullah fil ardi.
