Title: Social Networking Capacity and  The Policy of Revitalization of Fishing Port  in The Frontier Island (A Lesson From Revitalization of Lugu Fishing Port, in Simeulue Regency)The economic development of frontier islands through the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Development Program (SKPT) is intensively being carried out. This program is the main activity of Simeulue Regency by renovation of the cold storage, ice factory, air blast freezer, ship dock as well as building market and offices in the  Lugu Fishing Port. The development of infrastructures is expected to encourage the growth of fisheries business, function (revitalization) of the Lugu Fishing Port, and increase the contribution of fisheries business field in the gross regional domestic product of Simeulue. The aim of this report is to understand social network and to find the strategy of the  Lugu Fishing Port revitalization, field observation for the Lugu Fishing Port revitalization was conducted by a quick survey in January 2015 and deep interview about socio economic aspect and fisheries business was conducted on 30 fishers and 3 fish traders (toke bangku)  in April 2016. Data was analyzed descriptive based on economic theory of Handerson and Quant and the sociology-economy theory of Damsar and Indrayani. Results of this study showed that role and capacity of business, social network, and social exchange in fisheries business in Simeulue not used as a references in arranging the policy of the Lugu Fishing Port revitalization. As a result, the fishing port has not functioned until August  2016. This study recommends the operational of  the Lugu Fishing Port to be conducted in two steps: short-term in giving concession to companies/businessman having the fund and wide market network to manage cold storage or ice factory, and long term starting from the third year by operating the fishing port based on the fishing port  organizational structure applied.

(1) Background: Tocochromanols are a group of fat-soluble compounds including vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols) and plastochromanol-8, and just one avocado can contain up to 20% of the required vitamin E daily intake. (2) Methods: HPLC and LC-MS/MS analyses were performed in avocados of various varieties and origin for the identification and quantification of tocopherols, tocotrienols and plastochromanol-8. After selection of the variety with the highest vitamin E content, we evaluated to what extent short- (4 h) and long-term (10 d) cold storage influences the accumulation of tocochromanols. (3) Results: Analyses revealed that “Bacon” avocados (Persea americana Mill. cv. Bacon) were the richest in vitamin E compared to other avocado varieties (including the highly commercialized Hass variety), and they not only accumulated tocopherols (with 110 µg of α-tocopherol per g dry matter), but also tocotrienols (mostly in the form of γ-tocotrienol, with 3 µg per g dry matter) and plastochromanol-8 (4.5 µg per g dry matter). While short-term cold shock did not negatively influence α-tocopherol contents, it increased those of γ-tocopherol, γ-tocotrienol, and plastochromanol-8 and decreased those of δ-tocotrienol. Furthermore, storage of Bacon avocados for 10 d led to a 20% decrease in the contents of α-tocopherol, whereas the contents of other tocopherols, tocotrienols and plastochromanol-8 were not affected. (4) Conclusions: It is concluded that Bacon avocados (i) are very rich in α-tocopherol, (ii) not only contain tocopherols, but also tocotrienols and plastochromanol-8, and (iii) their nutritional vitamin E value is negatively influenced by long-term cold storage.

Based on information from fishermen and fish entrepreneurs, about 95.5% of the catch landed in the Bacan fishing port is stored in the air blast freezer (ABF) which is targeted for regional and exportsmarkets, while the remaining 4.5% is sold locally. The actual condition shows that the ABF has limited capacity. Furthermore, the need for ice blocks and diesel fuel (BBM) cannot be full filed as the ice factory and fuel station (SPDN) inside the port was not able to meet the current demand. As a result, fishermen have to buy from outside fishing port .In order to improve the port service, development program supported by scientific investigation on existing port performance is required. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of utilization and satisfaction of users of cold chain facilities and SPDN in PPP Bacan. The research was conducted at PPP Bacan, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, from August to September. Data were collected within 2 weeks, from 5 to 19 September 2020. The results showed that the utilization rate of ice factory facilities, ABF, and SPDN had exceeded the optimal limit, while the cold stroge was not optimal. All stakeholders (skippers, fishermen, and fish buyers) expressed their dissatisfaction with the service of the ice factory facilities, ABF, and SPDN, while the cold storage facilities were very satisfied. Keywords: Evaluation, utilization, satisfaction, cold chain, coast fishing port, Bacan.

Based on preliminary studies that the management of the development program "Panca Term" Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor showed its success. Among the results that appear until the age of 90 this year, that PMDG succeeded in producing alumni who became prominent national figures, had 16 branch boarding schools throughout Indonesia, had businesses in the economy quite rapidly, had very large waqf assets, developed Darussalam Gontor University, which until now has succeeded in having S1, S2 and S3 study programs. In addition, his other successes were managed by his marketing to many foreign students and students who sought knowledge in Gontor. Including Pondok Gontor, is in demand by Indonesian elites, such as the children of state officials and national religious leaders. This is what attracts researchers to conduct this research. So it is felt that their presence is needed as a management model for developing Islamic boarding schools in particular and Islamic education in general. The management system model that can be transformed is in preparing strategic plans for the long-term, medium-term and short-term development management models in creating independence and progress in pesantren and Islamic education institutions in general.

This research discussed the implementation of training and development programs in an organization. Undertaken deep interview as a method, it was reviewing the training and development programs of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Cabang Pasar Klewer di Surakarta (BNI CPKS) that covered the nature of training and development programs, training and development process, and behavioral aspects of the process. This research used the qualitative approach, consisted of literature theories and previous researches also explored analysis from the author by deep interview to 15 employees including management level of existing company’s unit/departments. The analysis was undertaken through collecting data first, presenting the training and development programs and then comparing them with the relevant theories. By having a well-implemented training and development programs, it was hoped that the effort would result from the accomplishment of short-term, midterm, and long-term goals of the company. As the conclusion, the work of training and development programs at BNI CPKS in overall is considered poor. The Human Resource Management, which is under administration level has no right to run its main responsibilities, which are to coordinate and arrange company’s training and development programs. Almost process of training and development program is set by central (Jakarta) or regional (Semarang) office. In addition, the behavioral aspect negatively affects to the training and development programs of BNI CPKS, inducing all management levels to participate the training and developments programs as a formality.

AbstractSufficiently frequent interaction between partners has been identified by, a.o., Axelrod as a more-or-less sufficient condition for stable cooperation. The underlying argument is that rational cooperation is ensured if short-term benefits from opportunistic behavior are offset by the long-term costs of sanctions imposed on the culprit. In this paper, we develop a model for ‘embedded trust’ in which a trustee interacts with a number of trustors who may communicate via a social network with each other about the behavior of the trustor. The analysis reconfirms the standard predictions about how the level of trust depends on the payoffs and shadow of the future. We provide new predictions both on between-network effects (“which network is more favorable for cooperation?”) and on within-network effects (“in what network position can you trust more?”).
