The article deals with the problem of student’s employment in the specialty of graduation at vocational education institutions. Considering the plans of some students on relearning or developing new skills in courses or internships, they need awareness of right specialty to choose and job preferably to find after graduation. The paper considers the relevant issue of research and development of individual planning methods for vocational education students in terms of their employment. The emphasis is made on this factor impact for future employment, namely its impact on the individual professional orientation and career, which can be planned through an individual curriculum i.e. balanced life planning. An individual curriculum is a set of activities that help taking responsibility for the future by combining educational activities at school, college, work and in general throughout the career. It determines the sequence, form and pace of mastering the educational program components, own experience and other successful experiences, methods and activities necessary for achievement of the main planning goal. An individual plan is important as planning efficiently turns knowledge into skills. The study considered based upon the "Individual curriculum" method and auxiliary test methods: "Success motivation and failure fear (questionnaire by Rean A.O.)", a test to determine the motive for a profession choice – the method of professional self-determination by J. Holland. The research was implemented on the basis of the Sumy Chemical-Technological Center for Vocational Education, consisting of two stages of online testing with further explanation to students and their individual curricula development. The first research stage involved students’ participation in an online quest, tests performance and obtaining explanations based on the methods of comprehensive interpretation. The second research stage involved the method of "individual curriculum planning" based on a plan template according to the study year.

The aim of this study was to translate the Multidimensional Workaholism Scale (MWS) into Chinese and then test its reliability and validity among full-time Chinese employees in two stages. In Study 1 ( N = 220), the MWS was translated and exploratory factor analysis was conducted resulting in a four-factor solution consistent with the original MWS: motivational, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. In Study 2 ( N = 425), confirmatory factor analysis showed that a four-factor, bifactor model was the best fit for the data. Configural, metric, and scalar invariance models were tested which demonstrated that the Chinese version of the MWS did not differ across gender, age, and job position groups. Finally, workaholism and engagement were related and distinct from one another, and they correlated with emotional exhaustion, work-family conflict and life well-being uniquely. This study indicated that the Chinese version of the MWS is a valid and reliable tool for Chinese employees, and this has important practical implications for the individual health and career development of Chinese working adults.

The aim of the study is to clarify the mineral composition and determine the conditions of the formation of the quartz-hubnerite veins of the Inkur stockwork tungsten deposit (the Dzhidinsky ore field, South-Western Transbaikalia). The research methods include a mineralogical and petrographic description of the ore quartz-hubnerite veins; an electron microprobe analysis of the mineral associations; thermometry, cryometry, and Raman spectroscopy of the individual fluid inclusions in quartz, fluorite, hubnerite, and muscovite. The mineralogical and petrographic studies has made it possible to clarify the mineral composition of the Inkur deposit ores and determine the mineral paragenesis formation sequence. The fluid inclusion studies have established that the ore deposition was occurring in the relatively low-salinity (~5.7–14.6 wt. % eq. NaCl) homogeneous solutions due to a decrease of the temperature. The study of the salt composition of the solutions has identified Ca chloride as a prevailing component, with NaCl, KCl, and MgCl as admixtures. CO2 and N2 have been identified in the gas phase of inclusions. Two stages of mineral formation have been defined: high-temperature (≥300 °С) and low-temperature (≥2.00–300 °С). The conducted studies allow qualitative estimation of the chemical composition of the ore-forming solutions. It has been established that one of the main factors of the hubnerite deposition is a temperature factor.

Rethinking the goals of vocational education, integrating into the international professional community, required rethinking of the academic disciplines role, which primarily affected the foreign language. Researchers note its importance for successful professional activity, for the development of special qualities. At the same time, the problem of educating professional responsibility, conditioned by the outlook of the individual, the conviction of the need to make professional decisions with an orientation towards their consequences for society and the country as a whole, has ceased to be a priority. The article focuses on the means of implementing the educational function of a foreign language in the unity of the content (context of the language) and methods of comparison with regional natural history, which activates creative thinking and affects the social position in the perception of the modern worldview, on the formation of a person's motivational-value attitude to his native culture. Comparative analysis of the native and foreign language culture allows a deeper understanding of the native culture and the formation of patriotic beliefs. The conclusions obtained in the course of understanding the educational function of a foreign language are based on the results of a comprehensive study conducted by graduate students of Samara University on the theory and methodology of vocational education, the purpose of which was to determine the effective personal characteristics of students in different areas of vocational training.

The article focuses on the issue of developing competency-based vocational training programs on the basis of workplace requirements. International experience suggests that vocational education teachers lack capabilities for interpretation and application of occupational standards in training. Some countries which opted for developing national educational standards failed to base them on the requirements of occupational standards. This has brought additional dislocations to taking adequate account of the workplace requirements in the development of vocational education programs. This write-up describes a pilot methodology for developing programs of vocational education on the basis of occupational standards. The methodology has incorporated some elements of the world practice and is currently being piloted in Kyrgyzstan in three industries at the qualification levels of certified worker and technician Diploma. The methodology is bound by the template of occupational standards, applied in the economically advanced nations, what has determined the working processes applied for their interpretation for the purpose of skills training and assessment. The paper explains the format and the categories inherent to the advanced occupational standards, which in some countries are also named “the competency standards”. The methodology takes advantage of the detailed template of occupational standards, which lends itself to organic transformation of units of standards into training modules and, further down, to the individual subject-based courses within the modular program. The methodology permits developing complex vocational education programs, which involve teaching of a few or many individual disciplines. А modular program functions as a mechanism for integration and synchronisation of these individual disciplines on the basis of the skills assessment requirements drawn from the occupational standards. The article describes some preliminary results of piloting of the new programs in lyceums and colleges of Kyrgyzstan.

The open society and its complement, the open mind, are the foundations of modernity. On both the individual and social levels, openness results from the combination of four specific modes of experience. These modes have evolved in two stages: first in the time of Greek antiquity and later during Western modernity. In the first stage, the discovery of self-reflection occurred, and the noëtic turn emerged. As a result, both in political and intellectual life, methods gained priority over faith in sacred authorities. In the second stage, the discovery of creative imagination took place, and the turn to consciousness evolved. Creativity led to the innovative dynamics of modernity, and personal and collective identities developed from the turn to consciousness. The combination of these four modes of experience constitutes the signature of modernity, crystallizing in the intellectual and political discourse of modernity, and creating what we call a liberal society.

The article presents the results of a sociological study of the development of media education in secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The authors note that in modern conditions, media literacy plays an essential role in the education system. Such important objects of media pedagogy research as: clip thinking of schoolchildren, the influence of gadgets on the learning process, media socialization, cybersecurity, distorted reality, manipulation of public consciousness become topical issues. These processes have an impact on the younger generation and their parents, and, therefore, requires study. The study was conducted as part of a sociological survey of subjects of the educational process – students, their parents and teachers, with a sample of 16,357 respondents, including students – 4,860, parents – 7,919, teachers – 3,578 people. The study of the processes of media pedagogy development has shown that there is a need to ensure not only the success of students ' socialization, but also the development of media literacy, ensuring cybersecurity, the use of psychological and pedagogical support for students, as well as the use of digital resources of the educational environment for self-realization and further professional self-determination. The development of media pedagogy ensures the successful social development of the individual in modern conditions.

Abstract There is increased technological interest to use blends of various dissimilar elastomers in applications for which service, material availability, or cost of a single elastomer do not provide the necessary processing, vulcanizate, or economic properties. Properties of polyblends are sensitive to variations in the amounts of the individual polymers used. Therefore, there is a need for developing a variety of analytical tools that will enable the compounder to monitor the consistency of blend compositions. In this study, the feasibility of using pyrolysis-GC/MS and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to estimate the blend composition of SBR/NBR blends was investigated. Pyrolysis-GC/MS degradation products that are characteristic of each polymer were identified. The GC/MS peak areas were used to determine the blend composition. The blend compositions were estimated by TGA from the linear correlation between the polymer composition and the temperature required to pyrolyze a sample to a specific “% weight loss.” The results obtained by pyrolysis-GC/MS and TGA were compared to calculated blend ratios of SBR/NBR in order to estimate the accuracy of the test methods presented in this study.
