Firms must adapt to a business environment in constant flux. Economic and political factors and the constant interruption of new technologies force firms and organizations to change and to adapt, so that they are not left behind. Over recent years, the development of disruptive innovations has completely revolutionized past scenarios. These innovations break with what is already established and firms from various sectors face no choice other than to incorporate them into their project management portfolios, so as to ensure survival and business sustainability. Using MIVES methodology as its foundation, a business sustainability management model is presented in this paper for the management of disruptive innovation projects that a firm may wish to develop within a given sector. The management model is designed to facilitate disruptive innovation project management for firms within technological-industrial sectors, by assessing the sustainability of the project. The model is applied to two firms, one from the machine-tooling sector and another from the construction sector. Finally, a sensitivity analysis was performed, the results of which verified the validity and the stability of the proposed model.

Introduction. The article deals with the issues of doing business in crisis situations. The main directions of the influence of crisis situations on the activities of the enterprise at different levels are considered. The factors of influence of the coronavirus on the economy of both the enterprise and the country have been determined. The purpose of the paper is to clarify the factors that may affect the safety of doing business today and provide recommendations for improving the company's activities. These recommendations will increase the efficiency of the enterprise by increasing the stability of the organization. Among the dangerous factors, increased attention is paid to the coronavirus epidemic. Results. There are five dangerous factors for the Ukrainian economy in this situation. The first factor is the impact of the pandemic on micro- and macroeconomic processes. The second factor is the falling incomes and deteriorating business environment. The third factor is the increase in capital outflows from the country. The fourth factor is the strengthening by the state of restrictive measures for the population and enterprises. The fifth dangerous factor is the low level of trust of entrepreneurs in public authorities. Conclusion. Despite all the measures taken, it is currently difficult to assess the real scale and consequences of COVID-19 and other crises for the economy of Ukraine and the world. To date, there is a deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the country. There is also a deterioration in the economic situation of both the country as a whole and individual enterprises. We will be able to see soon how Ukraine will survive this pandemic and what damage will be done to the economy. But the use of the proposed measures will reduce the company's losses from dangerous situations. The impact of the first factor will lead to difficulties in international trade and relocation of personnel. The second factor warns of declining business incomes that have not adapted to quarantine conditions. Counteracting this factor involves the maximum use of remote labor and e-commerce. When forecasting the consequences of the third factor will reduce the supply of foreign currency, which makes the national currency unstable and leads to its depreciation. The action of the fourth factor will lead to a significant complication in the organization of the production process. There may be difficulties in finding and hiring staff, the situation on the labor market will change. The influence of the fifth factor will lead to the fact that the organization can not adequately and effectively respond to external influences.

The essence and indicators of a concept of sustainable development of economy have been considered. Dynamics of an indicator of social and economic development of the region (gross regional product) has been analyzed and the stability indicator has been сalculated. Macroeconomic aspects of unstable development of economy have been revealed through imbalances of inflows and outflows in the two-sector, closed and opened economic systems. The reasons and consequences of disproportions of an economic system have been identified. Measures and directions of state policy in the field of stimulating the development of small and medium-sized businesses, creating a favorable business environment, stimulating export-oriented production, improving migration policies, which will reduce these imbalances, have been proposed. Accounting of regularity of macroeconomic interrelations will allow you to assess a situation of economic systems, and studying of the existing imbalances will promote creation of the mechanism of their regulation.

The formation and development of the knowledge economy logically lead to the need for an indepth study of the nature and properties of information in economic systems. The priority value of the information resource and knowledge in the activities of industrial enterprises is determined both by the prospects for the development of science-intensive products and their competitiveness in the world and domestic markets, and by the desire to ensure the stable operation of the enterprise in a highly disturbed business environment. With the search and analysis of the dependences of the production, financial and economic processes taking place in them on the control information, the systemic interaction of the enterprise resources and the dynamics of key indicators of the activity of industrial enterprises are revealed. From the standpoint of thermodynamics, statistical physics and cybernetics, it is proposed to spread the information concept of V. Trapeznikov to substantiate and modelling the dependence of a number of economic and financial indicators on the amount of accumulated information in the controlled complex of an industrial enterprise.Modeling and interpretation of the relationship between the volume of control information with the uncertainty of the functioning of an industrial enterprise and the achieved level of knowledge about it is carried out. The condition for the stability of the indicator of the effect of activity and the financial stability of the enterprise (autonomy ratio) is formulated. The mathematical condition for the range of changes in the level of knowledge of industrial enterprises has been substantiated.

The debate about embeddedness of entrepreneurship in cultural dimensions has not found any conclusive theory but still there is ample evidence that culture has impact on intention of entrepreneurial activity. The culturally legitimate vocational choices affect the efficacy to make an entrepreneurial startup. This is directly linked with not only the economic activity but also for creating businesses with the available local resources. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy reflects the personal beliefs of individuals in their own abilities and regarding opportunity recognition and risk propensity. The study conducted the analysis by comparing entrepreneurs in four provinces of Pakistan (Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan) and found significant differences in factors describing self-efficacy. MGCFA revealed the stability of the research instrument across the provinces thus factor loadings for different provinces can be compared. Entrepreneurs in Punjab have relatively stronger entrepreneurial self-efficacy in contrast with other provinces. The policy intervention should be reflective of the situation of each province, and public policy related to business environment should be more liberal while in other provinces supportive of entrepreneurs through institutional support to new business developers.

Provided that one of the goals of the European Union (EU) is the economic development and possibility of integration by implementing fundamental reforms through an adequate strategic approach, this paper aims to determine the impact of the EU policy and the Instrument for PreAccession Assistance (IPA Fund) on the international business environment with special emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Turkey. It is obvious that the EU not only provides assistance to candidate countries but also contributes to the stability, security, and prosperity of beneficiary countries. However, by adopting this approach, the EU imposes certain changes in the instruments of financial support. Namely, by launching the IPA II programme it surpassed IPA I, covering five priority areas as the key segments of development. It has been shown that this support programme is of great importance for the development of the countries covered in this study. Our research also indicates that IPA funding aids in the political and economic reforms of transition countries, preparing them for the rights and duties that come with the Union membership. Secondary data available on the official website of the European Union were used in this study. The hypothesis is confirmed by quantitative data analysis showing a significant impact of the IPA II programme on defined sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Turkey.

Conti: One of the main conclusions of the Wolf-Rayet symposium in Buenos Aires was that Wolf-Rayet stars are evolutionary products of massive objects. Some questions:–Do hot helium-rich stars, that are not Wolf-Rayet stars, exist?–What about the stability of helium rich stars of large mass? We know a helium rich star of ∼40 MO. Has the stability something to do with the wind?–Ring nebulae and bubbles : this seems to be a much more common phenomenon than we thought of some years age.–What is the origin of the subtypes? This is important to find a possible matching of scenarios to subtypes.
