The epistemological study of the features of theistic and atheistic thinking outside the axiological and cultural-historical opposition of the corresponding worldview positions reveals the interaction and moments of identity of theism and atheism. The principle of academic objectivism minimizes the axiological dependence of the oppositions of theism and atheism. In the epistemological aspect, it allows for determining the interreliance between theism and atheism, identical anthropomorphic cognitive components in theistic and atheistic thinking, identical development of the oppositions of the general and singular to the extent of the original concepts of theistic and atheistic explanations of the world. The man’s existential demand for the certainty of absolute being also leads to a similar process of rational expression of the theism and atheism principles. In this expression, a significant role is played by symbols that form the semantic field of rationalization of these principles. The moments of epistemological coincidence of the theism and atheism identity allow us to draw a conclusion about the possibility of positive productive interaction between the subjects of virtual communication on the Internet and global interaction of cultures. Moreover, the rapidly increasing religiosity in Russia after the era of atheization is largely explained by the epistemological components of the identity and coincidence of theism and atheism. Epistemological features of theistic and atheistic thinking in the aspect of their relationship allow us to reconcile different worldview positions of the educational process subjects, especially the teaching of social disciplines and humanities.

Nowadays mass media including electronic resources play a significant role in creating popular opinion on various issues. It stands true for political questions such as proving information about countries. Analysis of lexical units and their choice to describe an image of a country can be done through the use of the conceptual scientific approach and the theory of lexico-semantic fields. The author of the article analyzes how China was represented in American newspapers and magazines in the second decade of the 21st century. Relations between two largest economies in the world are of a great importance to all other countries. Besides, China is a special political and trade partner of Russia, and it makes everything connected with this country particularly significant. This study is the second part of the research on this topic that focuses on the periphery elements of the lexico-semantic field “21st century China”. The analysis showed that these are the following microfields: “China is a mechanism”, “China is a problem”, “Nature”, “Health” and “China is a relative”. The Internet has brought into our life previously non-existent ways of communication and new forms of language existence. With the growing popularity of social networks, the functioning of the English language has attracted the interest of many linguists. Modernization of the linguistic personality takes place in conjunction with the development of a virtual picture of the world, which reproduces life in the vastness of the Internet. Values replace each other. If earlier language education was popular, today it is computer education. That is why a tendency has arisen to explain in a simplified language, which contradicts the norms of traditional communication. Moreover, the leading role in virtual communication belongs to the English language, since the birthplace of the Internet and the main supplier of network terminology is English-speaking America.

Over the last 20 years the educational environment has undergone a number of changes, one of the factors of these changes is the introduction of Internet opportunities in the educational process. Due to the expansion of the Internet, in particular, in the field of education, there is a surge of research interest in the world on the impact of the Internet on educational achievements. This work is devoted to the problem of the position of Russian publications in the global network of quotations on the theme of the relationship between Internet activity and educational achievements of students. In the course of the research, a rarely used method of reviewing sources on a given topic was proposed based on a combination of two approaches of literary review - expert and bibliometric network analysis. The results of the research demonstrate a global network of citations of the most popular publications on the subject of Internet activity and educational achievements, and also reflect the position of Russian authors' publications in relation to the whole network. It was found that: 1) the prevailing literature on the subject under study is foreign, foreign sources present the main theoretical and methodological foundations and applied research; 2) Russian scientists are at the beginning of mastering the analysis of social network data and studying the impact of the Internet on educational achievements, which explains the small number of publications.

Globalization and international media are potent contributors to the rise of the Islamist global jihad. Widespread digital communication technologies that connect people all over the world are a substantial component of globalization. Over the past three decades, “virtual jihad” has emerged as a potent disseminator of radical religious-political ideologies, instilling fear and fostering instability worldwide. Western and global media, while often misrepresenting Islam and Muslims, have played a significant role in disseminating jihadist ideologies. The involvement of global jihadists (mujāhidīn) across myriad media outlets and platforms has allowed them to promote their agenda around the world. Using the Internet and media outlets, global jihadists are able to attract and recruit people to their ranks in an accelerated manner. Jihadists have engaged in media activities that have empowered and expanded the global jihad movement, even in the face of increased mitigation efforts.
