Statistical processing of students' grades is used to solve various problems in managing the educational process. Traditional methods of mathematical statistics do not correspond to the properties of student grades. The paper proposes to adapt the IRT models for describing grades to improve the whole process. A model based on beta-binomial distribution is proposed, in which the parameters take into account the student's ability and the difficulty of getting a passing grade. The use of this probability distribution is justified by the ability to take into account the variation of grades. It is proposed to use two approaches to identify the parameters. The first approach is based on the use of numerical methods for finding parameters for solving a system of equations. The second one uses the Bayesian approach, which makes it possible to rather effectively refine the parameters when obtaining new estimates. Based on the results of processing an array of estimates, the adequacy of the model was confirmed by several statistical criteria.

The issues of organizing an expert survey and carrying out statistical processing and analysis of the results are considered. The experts are the fifth-year students undergoing training at the Department of Management and Informatics «Moscow Power Engineering Institute» of the National Research University. The goal of the survey is revealing the disciplines that are most useful for employment in their specialty. We discuss the special features of the survey and a concept of «work in the specialty», with due regard for statistical reliability of the results. Data of written questionnaire gained in 2018 were processed and analyzed using cluster analysis (construction of dendrograms and application of the K-means method) and non-parametric statistical criteria (Friedman and Mann – Whitney – Wilcoxon). Data processing is implemented in the program STATISTICA. The analysis is carried out to reveal significant differences between the educational courses and assess the degree of consistency of the respondents to divide them into clusters that unite the students with similar judgments. Data analysis revealed that experts’ estimates in 2018 are in fairly good agreement with the estimates of previous studies; among the respondents there are three coalitions corresponding to the training modules «Software», «Management Theory», «Data Analysis»; the overall consistency of students in the two groups is very low (and, on the contrary, high in the identified clusters); grades are homogeneous and do not depend on training groups (and employment – unemployment of the respondents). The obtained results allow us to address a number of important questions regarding the ways of improving the educational process, e.g., to optimize yearly course hours for different educational modules.

Researchers in the humanities almost always have to deal with the problem of statistical processing of results and their interpretation. This is a rather laborious and painstaking work, which can be greatly simplified through the use of multifunctional statistical criteria. Within the framework of the study related to the problem of self-design of educational and professional ac-tivities of students, the analysis of the effectiveness of the introduction of technological elements using multifunctional criteria was carried out: φ* criterion – Fisher’s angular transformation and binomial criterion m. The statistical significance of the results of the introduction at a certain stage of the technology of the workshop is revealed, which makes it possible to study and apply the ele-ments of self-management in the educational and professional activities of students. For promising purposes, it is proposed to create an automated system that implements the selection of the appropriate criterion for the problem to be solved and the verification of the statistical hypothesis put forward by the researcher.

Abstrack- Educational Administration is the whole process of collaboration of two or more people by utilizing all available personnel and material resources and appropriate to achieve the educational goals that have been set effectively and efficiently. Professional teaching is a profession that is very important in the life of a nation, this is not because the educational position is very important in the context of national life. Educators are the dominant element in an educational process, so that the quality of education is largely determined by the quality of educators in carrying out their roles and duties in societ. Therefore the development of the teaching profession will have a major impact on improving the quality of education that is still lagging behind, as well as giving the right direction for students to play a role in the community to participate with the community in building the nation.

Problem statement. This article is devoted to such a topical issue as the use of the dynamic mathematics system (DMS) GeoGebra in teaching mathematics. DMSs are gradually being introduced into mathematics education, but the question is raised about the effectiveness of their application. The purpose of the article is to study the influence of GeoGebra on the quality of the solving of tasks on the topic «Second order curves» by 2nd year students studying in the specialty “Applied Informatics (by branches)” at NovosibirskProfessional and Pedagogical Vocational Education Institution. The research methodology consisted in the analysis and synthesis of scientific literature on the chosen topic, pedagogical experiment, mathematical methods of processing the results of this experiment and observation of the participants in the pedagogical process.The obtained results of the research indicate that the use of the GeoGebra program has a positive effect on the academic performance of students. Statistical processing of the obtained data shows that there are no differences in the selected criteria between the group that worked in the GeoGebra and the group that worked without computer programs. However, the use of DMSmakes it possible to visually demonstrate the material, draw the attention of students to the academic discipline, promotes the development of creative thinking, and allows students to experiment with mathematical objects on their own. Conclusion. Due to the widespread use of dynamic systems in mathematics education, the study of their influence on the development of various cognitive abilities and personal qualities of students is of practical and scientific interest. The materials of the work can be used in the educational process when teaching and learning the course EN.01 Mathematics at the level of secondary vocational education and distributed to various topics and sections of mathematical disciplines at other levels of education.

Abstract In this study, the Bayesian probabilistic approach is applied for the estimation of the actual dose using personnel monitoring dose records of occupational workers. To implement the Bayesian approach, the probability distribution of the uncertainty in the reported dose as a function of the actual dose is derived. Using the uncertainty distribution function of reported dose and prior knowledge of dose levels generally observed in a monitoring period, the posterior probability distribution of the actual dose is estimated. The posterior distributions of each monitoring period in a year are convoluted to arrive at actual annual dose distribution. The estimated actual doses distributions show a significant deviation from reported annual doses particularly for low annual doses.

The phenomenon of increasing tuition fees is one of the factors which reinforce the increasingly consumerist attitudes among students towards the product (understood as a whole process of university education) they receive from universities. The aim of the study is to characterise the difference between the expectations of students and the extent to which those expectations are met by universities. This analysis also focuses on the conditions that determine this perception of what universities offer and discusses selected issues concerning the relations between universities and industry. The findings demonstrate why creativity, apart from practical knowledge, is one of the most important aspects in the process of education, where a student’s graduation work is aimed at solving specific problems in companies and institutions. In the empirical part of the paper, students’ opinions about the importance of selected aspects of the education process are compared with the level of support provided by universities. The research covered 505 students of economics from 10 different countries. Their expectations of the educational process with regard to the majority of its aspects (apart from theoretical knowledge) proved to be higher than those of their universities. The findings of this research may thus be useful in formulating optimal study plans.

The authors share their experience on how to put in place monitoring procedure to find out whether components of the university students� scientific world outlook are mature enough. It is described, how to structure questionnaire, also presented are examples of tasks as well as diagnostics results and results, obtained by statistical processing of invariable section of the questionnaire, filled in by students of higher institutions, specializing in Economics and Pedagogy. Components of educational process, conducive to sustainable development, are discussed. It is emphasized, that issues concerning environment protection, care of living and eating healthy should be integral parts of modern world outlook and be properly attended by higher institutions in organizing educational process. Examples of tasks on chemistry of nutrition, chemistry of environment and chemistry of health are presented, and the authors recommend to use these tasks in the educational process. The set of diagnostic tools, designed to evaluate components of scientific world outlook, is provided. The authors have also developed a comprehensive questionnaire, with both invariable (generalized) and variable-based sections (aimed at developing professional competencies in significant (relevant spheres of natural science). The suggested methodology of monitoring is applicable in both core and non-core higher educational institutions.
