Problem statement. This article is devoted to such a topical issue as the use of the dynamic mathematics system (DMS) GeoGebra in teaching mathematics. DMSs are gradually being introduced into mathematics education, but the question is raised about the effectiveness of their application. The purpose of the article is to study the influence of GeoGebra on the quality of the solving of tasks on the topic «Second order curves» by 2nd year students studying in the specialty “Applied Informatics (by branches)” at NovosibirskProfessional and Pedagogical Vocational Education Institution. The research methodology consisted in the analysis and synthesis of scientific literature on the chosen topic, pedagogical experiment, mathematical methods of processing the results of this experiment and observation of the participants in the pedagogical process. The obtained results of the research indicate that the use of the GeoGebra program has a positive effect on the academic performance of students. Statistical processing of the obtained data shows that there are no differences in the selected criteria between the group that worked in the GeoGebra and the group that worked without computer programs. However, the use of DMSmakes it possible to visually demonstrate the material, draw the attention of students to the academic discipline, promotes the development of creative thinking, and allows students to experiment with mathematical objects on their own. Conclusion. Due to the widespread use of dynamic systems in mathematics education, the study of their influence on the development of various cognitive abilities and personal qualities of students is of practical and scientific interest. The materials of the work can be used in the educational process when teaching and learning the course EN.01 Mathematics at the level of secondary vocational education and distributed to various topics and sections of mathematical disciplines at other levels of education.

The article actualizes the issue of updating the content, methods and means of teaching mathematics at the university within the sociocultural paradigm. A significant contradiction characterizing the crisis situation in the field of higher mathematical education is the mismatch between the traditional organization of the educational process and the powerful developing potential of mathematical disciplines. Being overloaded with a lot of information, altogether with its insufficiently developed anthropological, cultural-like and communicative components, mathematical education hinders the mental development of the learner’s personality in relation to such important qualities as search activity, creativity, and creative thinking. The solution to this problem can be the transformation of the cognitive-information model of learning, the introduction of pedagogical technologies that actualize the sociocultural aspect of mathematical education. The aim of the study is to develop methodological foundations for the implementation of the value-semantic orientation of teaching mathematics at the university, expressed in providing a set of pedagogical conditions related to the selection of content, determination of teaching aids and methods, ways of organizing the interaction of students and a teacher, in which students intelligently master mathematical concepts, and freely operate with them. The didactic conditions for the implementation of the value-semantic orientation of teaching mathematics at the university are: the transformation of mathematical content, expressed in learning from sociocultural experience; the psychodidactic approach, focused on building the students’ self-motivation; the use of teaching methods that provide cognitive and emotional empathy (educational mathematical discourse), the activization of productive mental activity (technology of problematic dialogue); inclusion of non-standard, creative tasks, training cases. Providing these conditions will allow to realize the humanitarian potential of mathematics, to reveal the social, practical and personal significance of the subject matter.

Introduction: A modern specialist in practically any field should not only possess professional expertise but also have a good command of modern computer technologies and main mathematical methods of data modeling and processing. It is employers’ requirements and, at the same time, students’ demands to receive this exact type of education. The study examines various ideas of educator-researchers striving to change the educational process to match the new goals. Meanwhile, the authors place the main emphasis on teaching mathematics. Drawing on the experience of teaching at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the authors propose an integrative model of teaching mathematics that utilizes the contextual approach and content-based teaching. Materials and Methods: The main methods of the study are the analysis of scientific works and pedagogical modeling based on the following methodological approaches: competency-based, integrative, activity-based, as well as the concept of the zone of proximal development. The authors place special importance on the contextual approach and content-based teaching. Results: The analysis of works confirms the significance and relevance of interdisciplinary courses. The necessary modernization of the educational process and its contents is based on the integrative approach. The contextual approach is increasingly used in higher education to reinforce professional orientation. As for content-based education, it is currently used only in foreign language teaching. Within this study, the authors propose an integrative model of teaching mathematics at economics universities. To enforce the focus on the application in basic student training, the contextual approach is utilized which allows giving professional substance to the content of an educational course. The second part of the model is content-based teaching. The authors enhance its potential uses and believe that studying interconnected subjects together allows one to show common patterns and makes the educational process more efficient, intensive and mindful. Discussion and Conclusions: The relevance of having command of mathematical methods and computer technologies for multidisciplinary specialists makes it possible to generalize the creative model by adding various professional contexts.

Today, the viticulture and oenology sector in Georgia has a fair potential for development. According to the statistical data, the income from the wine production is growing year by year for the country. Maintaining the growing potential of productivity in the viticulture and oenology sector is linked to the stable quality of grape and wine. The skilled workforce represents one of the essential components for ensuring production of high-quality products. Vocational trainings can provide both, the prospective and existing employees of the viticulture and oenology sector with the possibility to develop necessary skills. Moreover, each country has its own unique cultural, economic and social aspects that have to be taken into consideration in the process of assessing and reforming the country's educational potential. Numerous countries rely on the "mixed systems" that combine different types of work-based learning, including school-based vocational education and dual vocational education programs. However, in view of international best practice, dual programs are considered to be the best mode of instruction for vocational programs in the direction of viticulture and oenology. Introduction of work-based learning with the so called dual vocational education programs by the state in recent years, can be considered as a step forward in this direction. Also, the state offers short-term vocational education programs within the framework of close cooperation with the private sector. The viticulture and oenology sector is the first, together with the tourism sector, to be recognized as a priority by the state, therefore the training of students with dual vocational education programs has been piloted. In summary, for a vocational student, dual vocational education programs involve pursuing studies at a vocational education institution, where a student takes a theoretical course on a future profession, as well as a practical course necessary for acquiring practical and technical skills for the profession. This form of teaching provides more opportunities for deepening the public-private partnerships in education. On the one hand, it helps to reduce budgetary expenditures of the state and, on the other hand, allows the system to receive additional financial as well as intangible benefits. The interest of the private sector to participate in the educational process is multifaceted. However, one of the main reasons for the interest is possibility to hire experienced workforce in the future. Increasing the private sector involvement and delegating responsibilities to the private sector by the state represents a good opportunity to train/retrain qualified staff. This factor can be considered as a prerequisite for matching workforce demand and supply on the labor market. Training of highly qualified staff guarantees reduction of unemployment and poverty and ensures sustainable economic development of the country. Keywords: vocational education, dual vocational education programs, work-based learning, viticulture and oenology sector.

The paper highlights the peculiarities of teaching the students of the specialty International Relations, Law and History professionally oriented disciplines when the attention is paid to the study of professional disciplines. After mastering the core materials of the discipline, the students should know all the components of these disciplines and be able to apply their knowledge in practice. We have confirmed by our research that for the modern student to be able to master all knowledge and skills, modern lecturers at their lectures and seminars should change the teaching methods, tending more to the use of interactive methods, which, compared to the traditional ones, are much more efficient for providing the educational process. Among the modern interactive teaching methods, such methods as Circle of Ideas, Aquarium, Microphone, and Role Play, Imitation deserve special attention, and their use promotes students' cognitive abilities, creative thinking, quick decision making, work in groups, thus stimulating the development of communication skills, and mainly the interest of the student in learning. In the conditions of a pandemic (2020-2021), as the experiment showed, it is also possible for teachers to use interactive methods in teaching professional disciplines for students of the above specialties.
