The issues of organizing an expert survey and carrying out statistical processing and analysis of the results are considered. The experts are the fifth-year students undergoing training at the Department of Management and Informatics «Moscow Power Engineering Institute» of the National Research University. The goal of the survey is revealing the disciplines that are most useful for employment in their specialty. We discuss the special features of the survey and a concept of «work in the specialty», with due regard for statistical reliability of the results. Data of written questionnaire gained in 2018 were processed and analyzed using cluster analysis (construction of dendrograms and application of the K-means method) and non-parametric statistical criteria (Friedman and Mann – Whitney – Wilcoxon). Data processing is implemented in the program STATISTICA. The analysis is carried out to reveal significant differences between the educational courses and assess the degree of consistency of the respondents to divide them into clusters that unite the students with similar judgments. Data analysis revealed that experts’ estimates in 2018 are in fairly good agreement with the estimates of previous studies; among the respondents there are three coalitions corresponding to the training modules «Software», «Management Theory», «Data Analysis»; the overall consistency of students in the two groups is very low (and, on the contrary, high in the identified clusters); grades are homogeneous and do not depend on training groups (and employment – unemployment of the respondents). The obtained results allow us to address a number of important questions regarding the ways of improving the educational process, e.g., to optimize yearly course hours for different educational modules.

The aim of the article is to discuss and argue teaching educational data mining for pedagogical stu-dents and to describe the methodical system of educational data mining teaching for students with a middle level of mathematical and IT disciplines, that contributes to the development of student’s research competence. The relevance of the study is determined by the requirements for the ability of higher education graduates to analyze information and perform research using modern methods and technologies that are mentioned in the educational standards and the government order. They are associated with an increasing amount of accumulated data in various fields and the cost of the knowledge extracted from data. Materials and methods. The article describes the author’s methodical system of educational data mining teaching, which was developed rely on: analysis of requirements and expectations to the re-search competence level, data analysis skills and modern education in general; comparison and analysis of the content of educational programs, books and courses on data mining and related dis-ciplines, generalization of pedagogical experience. The main aspects underlying the methodology: a form of flipped learning, a concentric (iterative) content structure, research teaching methods, a set of practical tasks for developing research competencies and Weka software for data mining as the main technical training tool for practical tasks implementation. The effectiveness of the developed methodological system was tested by the educational process monitoring, students questioning and statistical processing of questionnaires data. Results. The study shows the relevance of educational data mining teaching for students of peda-gogical universities, studying in mathematical and informational specialization. The use of the de-scribed methodic system for senior pedagogical students allows increasing the level of research competence of students and significantly developing the competence of data analysis. Conclusion. The described methodical system can used be partially or completely by teachers and methodologists for teaching data analysis at the modern level and development of research compe-tence of students with an average level of knowledge in mathematical and IT disciplines.

Statistical processing of students' grades is used to solve various problems in managing the educational process. Traditional methods of mathematical statistics do not correspond to the properties of student grades. The paper proposes to adapt the IRT models for describing grades to improve the whole process. A model based on beta-binomial distribution is proposed, in which the parameters take into account the student's ability and the difficulty of getting a passing grade. The use of this probability distribution is justified by the ability to take into account the variation of grades. It is proposed to use two approaches to identify the parameters. The first approach is based on the use of numerical methods for finding parameters for solving a system of equations. The second one uses the Bayesian approach, which makes it possible to rather effectively refine the parameters when obtaining new estimates. Based on the results of processing an array of estimates, the adequacy of the model was confirmed by several statistical criteria.

Рассматривается оценка согласованности мнений экспертов при проведении экспертного опроса. Наиболее часто в качестве такой оценки применяется коэффициент конкордации Кендалла. Однако этот коэффициент не может в полной мере применяться для установления хорошей согласованности мнений экспертов, поскольку он показывает только отклонение от случаев полной несогласованности. Для устранения данного недостатка может рассматриваться альтернативный коэффициент конкордации, оценивающий близость сумм рангов альтернатив к случаю полной согласованности. Здесь дается определение этого коэффициента при наличии связанных рангов. Сложность определения заключается в том, что в этом случае наблюдается несколько случаев полной согласованности с различными суммами рангов. Определение альтернативного коэффициента конкордации при наличии связанных рангов проводится в два этапа. Сначала вводится его определение для упорядоченных таблиц специального вида и показывается его совпадение с коэффициентом конкордации Кендалла в этом случае. После дается определение альтернативного коэффициента конкордации в общем случае и показывается более простая формула его вычисления. Далее приводятся некоторые примеры сравнений значений рассматриваемых коэффициентов конкордации, их статистических характеристик и гистограмм The article considers evaluation of expert opinion consistency when conducting an expert survey. The most commonly used score is Kendall's coefficient of concordance. However, this coefficient cannot be fully applied to establish good agreement of expert opinions, as it only shows deviations from cases of complete inconsistency. To eliminate this drawback, an alternative concordance coefficient can be considered, which estimates the proximity of the sums of the ranks of the alternatives to the case of complete consistency. The article gives the definition of this coefficient in the presence of connected ranks. The difficulty of this definition lies in the fact that in this case there are several cases of complete consistency with different sums of ranks. Definition of the alternative coefficient of concordance in the presence of tied ranks is carried out in two stages. First, its definition for ordered tables of a special kind is introduced and its coincidence with Kendall's coefficient of concordance in this case is shown. After that, the definition of the alternative coefficient of concordance in the general case is given and a simpler formula for its calculation is shown. Researchers in the humanities almost always have to deal with the problem of statistical processing of results and their interpretation. This is a rather laborious and painstaking work, which can be greatly simplified through the use of multifunctional statistical criteria. Within the framework of the study related to the problem of self-design of educational and professional ac-tivities of students, the analysis of the effectiveness of the introduction of technological elements using multifunctional criteria was carried out: φ* criterion – Fisher’s angular transformation and binomial criterion m. The statistical significance of the results of the introduction at a certain stage of the technology of the workshop is revealed, which makes it possible to study and apply the ele-ments of self-management in the educational and professional activities of students. For promising purposes, it is proposed to create an automated system that implements the selection of the appropriate criterion for the problem to be solved and the verification of the statistical hypothesis put forward by the researcher.

Introduction. The development of students' ability to make informed and responsible decisions in the field of personal finance is an urgent problem. Young people must have the appropriate competencies, have the required level of financial literacy. This also applies to students of non-economic areas of training, in particular students of technical specialties. The purpose of the study is to analyze the financial literacy of students of a technical university. Materials and methods. The material of the research was the data of an anonymous sociological survey of 100 students of Stupino branch of Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) of the 3rd and 4th courses of full-time education by filling in Google forms. Results. Analysis of students' opinions showed a positive trend (65% of respondents) for the introduction of financial literacy in the educational process of a technical university. Students admitted (54% of respondents) that they are not aware of all kinds of risks when investing in NPFs, when buying a home, compulsory motor third party liability insurance, taking a loan, when calculating wages, etc. Based on the students' answers, it was found that 62% of the respondents had no experience in solving financial issues. At the same time, 67% of students are not interested in rates on deposits, loans, the key rate of the Central Bank, but daily use the financial services of the bank (plastic cards, payment for services via the Internet, e-wallet, etc.) 97% of students. Conclusion. Today, the financial literacy of the population is fraught with many vital issues and affects the effectiveness of decisions made and the associated risks.

I hope you could find time to have a rest after your busy schedule. Initially, I want to thank you for the increasing interest for our journal. As mentioned before, we had applied to many indexes. Our belief in being accepted to these indexes that we are through evaluation process is increasing day by day. I would like to remind that our journal will have English and Turkish full papers from now on to fulfil the conditions of these indexes.   I will carry out my duty as the chief editor of Journal of PEGEGOG as from 2nd Issue in 2016 of our journal. Moreover, we have invited new editors to provide our journal to reach the larger masses. I would like to introduce the new editors accepted our invitation. I'm pleased to inform you in this issue that the journal's h-index rose to 7. However, our aim is always to have much higher scores. Therefore, we invite you to share studies comprehensive, built on strong theoretical basis, innovative and bringing a vision on various fields of educational sciences increasing the number of readers.   There has been nearly 30 articles sent for publication to our journal. This is good news for our journal and country. On the other hand, I have to indicate that there were critical problems in terms of format within these articles as stated in the previous issue. First of all, unfortunately we had to reject some articles as in many of them there were texts very similar to ones in different articles. At first step, we scan all articles in i-thenticate program to determine the exact quotations from other resources. After this scan, we reject the articles detected to have exact quotations at a high rate without initiating peer-review process. Apart from that, we also send back the articles not written in an academic format not to disturb our reviewers unnecessarily.   One of the problems with the articles submitted to our journal and we had to reject was about data analysis. The data is the raw information collected from related resources through research aims. These should be analyzed in parallel with these aims. It is necessary to analyze them using statistics for quantitative data and methods such as content analysis or descriptive analysis for qualitative data. Analysis provides the data being transformed into findings and make sense. Especially, in some of document analysis and some qualitative studies, it is seen that data are presented as findings. In some others, data are presented being only described. It is essential that the studies are formed in an article format obeying the rules by the journal and presented for publication afterwards.   As always, we present the six articles got through peer-review process and given DOI number to you dear producers and consumers of knowledge. I wish these studies conducted in various fields of educational sciences will be useful and contribute to theoretical knowledge within the field. ABSTRACT Purpose: The objective of this study is to identify conceptions of being a professor in Management. The theoretical reflections that have defined the understanding of the phenomenon are associated with teaching knowledge, professor training and conceptions of being a professor. Originality/value: The results of this study reveal that conceptions of being a professor reflect the practice of teaching and the development of knowledge perceived from the field's dominant ideologies, the socio-economic background, and the current political contexts. This study contributes to the process of professors' Management training. Design/methodology/approach: This is a qualitative study and uses phenomenography as a method to understand, based on outcome space, the meaning of conceptions identified through interviews conducted with 20 professors working in undergraduate and graduate Management programs in Brazil for more than ten years. Findings: The results of the data analysis allow the identification of four conceptions of being a professor: 1. a professional who performs the job like any other; 2. an educator who acts as a knowledge mediator; 3. an author of educational process; and 4. an agent who transforms people and him/herself.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the digital competence of madrasah teachers during the covid-19 pandemic. The research used the qualitative method. It explored the phenomenon of madrasah teachers’ digital competence. The data were collected through observation and interviews. The study participants involved 1 principal and 9 teachers from grades 1 to 6. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and triangulation. The study results conclude that the digital competence of madrasa teachers is still low, so that teaching and learning have not used multimedia technology. Therefore, the results of this study recommend the concept of training related to increasing the digital competence of madrasa teachers regularly because it had an important role in supporting the school's educational process.

Distance education is becoming in demand in many universities in the country. At the beginning of 2020, an epidemiological situation arose in Russia and the world, which showed that distance learning is the safest way to get an education. But not all Russian universities were ready to quickly switch to distance learning. This led to some difficulties: the load increased on all actors of the educational process, the technical problems of the university and students became actualized, there was a need for additional time for adaptation of students, teachers, and university administration. As a result, the level of satisfaction with the learning process has changed. The purpose of this publication is to characterize the features of the organization of distance learning and identify its future prospects (using the example of Perm State National Research University). The empirical base of the study is materials of a survey of university students about their satisfaction with online learning. The authors assess three areas: 1) the level of material and technical equipment of students; 2) changes that have occurred in the organization of training (workload, time for completing assignments, mastering educational material, academic performance); 3) prospects of distance learning (limitations and reasons for their occurrence, merits). In practical terms, the study can clarify the need to expand distance learning in all universities in the country. Distance learning can become an effective alternative to classical education if state authorities and local governments finance distance learning, if universities provide trainings on organizing and conducting classes in an online format.

А group of authors of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, working within the framework of the activity of Coordination Council for the Federal Educational and Methodical Associations on education in the field of “Engineering, Technology and Technical Sciences” have undertaken a comprehensive study dedicated to the processes of the digital economy formation. More than two hundred primary sources of reference have been analyzed. Several main groups of risks associated with the transition to global digitalization have been defined and classified. Further research results described in this article allow to characterize the specific features of the occurrence of risks in the Russian Federation and to determine the ways of reducing these risks.In addition to the six groups of risks which are currently possible to arise and which are characteristic of the entire world space, the authors have revealed a number of several additional risks typical only of Russia. One of the key areas in Russia that poses a whole range of various risks is the education system. The authors have analyzed and classified the policies and moves suggested by the researchers and politicians to reduce the likelihood of these specific risks occurrence.The qualitative leap of the educational process in Russia is possible only by means of the formation of some new competence profiles of educational institutions graduates with reference to the digital economy development conditions. The authors have defined seven types of competencies that are relevant for the transition of Russia to the digital economy and developed twelve pilot educational modules necessary for their formation.
