Increasing information and condensing the speed of information technologies constantly transforms the functionality of libraries (as information, cultural, educational organizations) to solve acute problems, for example, informational, cultural, educational and educational education and development of readers in the new information space. Modern society sets itself each time new tasks and methods for the development of pedagogical sciences, most often they are associated with an informational approach to learning, education and cognition. The impact of information processes on the education and training and retraining of new library and information professionals is acutely affected. Allocation of information pedagogy allows us to explore new information processes and pedagogical phenomena to develop the sectoral aspect of pedagogical science. Library pedagogy is aimed at training competent specialists in the field of library information and pedagogical activity, functionally oriented to the training, education, and development of library readers. Library and information activities accumulate in themselves different types of labor processes, representing the library as the center of cultural, social, informational and pedagogical beginnings. The authors of the work propose the formulation of scientific knowledge – «library and information pedagogy», as the most appropriate to the name of the «Library and information activity» training area within the framework of the current federal state educational standards 51.03.06 and 51.04.06 «Library and information activities». Library-information pedagogy is a comprehensive knowledge of library pedagogy, pedagogy in general, as well as information pedagogy, including: the pedagogical basis of library science, the information basis of information, library and educational processes, the information worldview, pedagogical competencies that will allow the use of new information and communication technologies in the theory and practice of library and information activities. The structure of library and information pedagogy is conditionally composed of three main components: the base, core and effect. Considering the fact that at present there is no such scientific discipline as library and information pedagogy, then for the modern generation of students, in the context of the implementation of professional standards, the transition to FSES 3 ++, the emergence of a new position «teacher-librarian», it could be very useful. So, the use of the library-information approach in pedagogy makes it possible to replace the traditional plane of the problematic of pedagogical research of the educational and educational processes with the problematics of library-information activity in the implementation of these processes.

Cyber-terrorism has evolved as a new form of terrorism since the development of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as the Internet. It has become an issue of concern to the Australian government as well as a global issue since the impact of the September 11, 2001, tragedies, the Bali bombings in 2002, and the London bombings of 2005. Australia, together with other leading nations such as the U.S., currently faces the threat of conventional terrorism; however, we also now face the possibility of a new digital form of terrorism: cyber-terrorism. This article explores this new form of terrorism and provides examples of possible cyber-terrorism and closely related cases. It also highlights vulnerabilities within Australian computer systems and provides an overview of the future trends of this new emerging threat within the Australian context.

University libraries are facing the farce of NICT (New Information and Communication Technologies). Libraries are ancient indeed - they date from the third century BC. Their staff are, as a rule, not well equipped to judge the impact of technological change (who is?). Instead of being too conservative, they are often naïvely accepting of technological overclaims. As a result, librarians plan to reduce access to print in favour of text on screen. Here I counter-attack, arguing that the day of the printed book is far from over.

This chapter introduces the impact of new information and communication technologies (nICTs), specifically the Internet, on national and international conflict prevention and management. This analysis provides case studies of the use and examples of the prospective use of nICTs to counteract conflict as it undermines social and economic structures and hinders regional development. This study reviews the specific application of nICT-related initiatives at the different phases of the conflict cycle: from addressing the root causes of conflict as a tool for prevention and management, through the reconciliation and reconstruction phase. The author intends this analysis to illustrate and contribute to the discussion of how the social and development-related application of nICTs can compliment existing conflict prevention and management reduction strategies.

Allium oschaninii O. Fedtsch. is distributed in the middle belt of the Pamir and Altai mountains. The local population uses leaves and bulbs for food in fresh and canned form. Selective forms of onion Oshanina still does not exist. The research was carried out in the AllRussian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing a branch of the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution "Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing" (VNIIO branch of FGBNU FNCS) in 20142017. The object of the study was a collection of five samples of A. oschaninii O. Fedtsch. of various origins. Experiments were conducted to study and describe the biological and economic features of onion Oshanin (Allium oschaninii O. Fedtsch.) In the Moscow region; statistical processing and analysis of research results; methods for describing the characteristics used to assess distinctness, uniformity and stability are given. The object of the research was a collection of five samples A. oschaninii O. Fedtsch. of various origins. Methodical recommendations for registration of onion Oshanin (A. oschaninii O. Fedtsch.) In the State Register of Selection Achievements, admitted to use in the territory of the Russian Federation, for introduction into culture and introduction into production, are developed. The methodological recommendations have been prepared in accordance with the principles of similar methods used in UPOV and the State Commission of the Russian Federation for Testing and Preservation of Selection Achievements. A system of parameters has been developed, the use of which will ensure the contribution of new knowledge to the theory and practice of seed selection and production, will help to speed up the development of new varieties and hybrids with high winter hardiness, with early and harmonious growth of leaves, a long period of preservation of commercial qualities of green products resistant to peronosporosis for the Non-chernozem zone of the Russian Federation, to assess the effectiveness of selection work in order to increase yields, improve product quality and increase the resistance of new varieties to the impact of factors on of the circling medium. The results of the research can be used in breeding organizations and state stations, in the description of new varieties based on the characteristics used to assess distinctness, uniformity and stability.

ABSTRACTThe new information and communication technologies (ICT),in particular Social Media like TripAdvisor, Face-book or Twitter are changing flows, processes and tools in Tourism Communication. Considering that traditional communi-cation tools and strategies are becoming less and less effective, ICT are encouraging new communication practices and influencing consumer behaviour. Several studies from the perspective of the reception have been published in recent years on the impact of Social Media in Tourism, therefore we thought to develop a study from the perspective of production. We approach the features and peculiarities of the impact of 2.0 platforms in Tourism Communication and we present as a case study the communication strategy of Long Beach Hotel, Sun Resorts in Mauritius Islands.RESUMENLas nuevas tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC), en especial las redes sociales, como TripAdvisor, Facebook o Twitter están revolucionando los flujos, procesos, y herramientas de la comunicación turística.
