This study was conducted to find out the influence of cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type in attempt to improve student tolerance character in IPS learning in SMP Negeri 29 Bandung. The study is a type of quasi-experimental study using the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The free variables in this study are cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and the dependent variable is student tolerance character. The sample of study uses purposive sampling technique. The learning activities were carried out in two classes namely class VIII B as experimental class and class VIII F as control class. Study data obtained from the questionnaire that has been filled by students before and after treatment. The analysistechnique uses hypothesis test with T-Test. After processing data in experimental class usingtreatment in the form of STAD method, it is found that there is a significant improvement, while in control class using lecture method and there is no significant improvement. Based on the study that has been conducted, it can be concluded that there is effect from Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method to the student tolerance character in IPS learning.

Conventional learning model with lecture method that teacher- centered was still dominating and usually used by teacher in learning process at high school. Teacher needed learning model that can increase student cognitive retention. This research aims to determine whether there is influence of the cooperative learning Jigsaw-type model on retention of cognitive. The design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Wajo which consisted of 3 classes. The research sample was selected by random sampling technique, namely X MIPA 2 as an experimental group with 23 students and X MIPA 3 as a control group with 26 students. Data collected by using a multiple choice test totaling 20 numbers. The collected research were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of the cooperative learning Jigsaw-type model on retention of cognitive of students in SMA Negeri 5 Wajo. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Makassar dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (Studi pada materi pokok termokimia). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design”. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Makassar yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Penentuan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dilakukan dengan teknik class random sampling dengan asumsi bahwa kelas bersifat homogen dan terpilih kelas XI MIA 2 kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian terdiri dari dua variabel, yaitu pembelajaran kimia dengan metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization dan tanpa metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar sebagai variabel terikat. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes objektif sebanyak 20 nomor yang telah divalidasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Nilai ketuntasan untuk mata pelajaran kimia di SMA Negeri 1 Makassar adalah 77. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 77,17 dan kelas kontrol 76,15 dengan standar deviasi berturut-turut adalah 10,11 dan 8,84 dan ketuntasan sebesar 58,97% dan 48,72%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan ANACOVA melalui program SPSS for Windows 20, diperoleh nilai signifikan 0.000. Nilai signifikan 0.000 < α= 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas SMAN 1 Makassar pada materi pokok termokimia. The study design used is "pretest-posttest control group design". The population is all students of class XI SMAN 1 Makassar MIA consist of six classes. Determination of control class and experimental class conducted by random sampling technique class with the assumption that the class is homogeneous and was elected class XI MIA 2 as experimental class and XI MIA 5 as the control class. The study consisted of two variables, namely learning recitation chemical methods in cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization and without a recitation method in a cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization as independent variables and the student achievement as the dependent variable. Data were collected by administering a pretest and posttest. The test used is an objective test as many as 20 numbers that have been validated. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The value of completeness for chemical subjects in SMAN 1 Makassar is 77. The analysis showed the average value of the experimental class is 77,17 and control class 76,15 with a standard deviation of respectively 10,11 and 8,84 and completeness by 58,97% and 48,72%. The results of hypothesis test using ANACOVA through SPSS for Windows 20, obtained significant value 0.000. Significant value 0.000

Students' mathematical communication is stated to be low because students learn by listening and seeing the teacher solve mathematical problems and students have difficulty in expressing everyday events in mathematical models. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills better than using scientific learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi-Experimental Design and the design of this research The Nonequivalent Postets-Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam, while the samples were class VIIIB as the experimental class and class VIII-A as the control class with the sampling technique of purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematical communication ability test. The data analysis was carried out for the mathematical communication ability test using the t-test because the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, the data were processed using SPSS 18 software and the hypothesis test results were obtained with a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means reject H0 and accept Ha. The results showed that there was an effect of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.

ABSTRACTThis study aimed by the students’ low learning outcomes class at the elemerith grade X of SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak on chemistry subject, especially in the matter of redox reactions. The aim of this study was to determine differences in learning outcomes class at the elemerith grade X of SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak in the matter redox reactions being taught by cooperative learning model snowball throwing type by flash media with the lecture method by flash media and to determine the influence of cooperative learning model snowball throwing using flash media on learning outcomes class at the elemerith grade X of SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak academic year 2014/2015. This research was Quasi Experimental Research Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling system was simple random sampling technique. This study employed the students of grade X TITL as the samples of experiment group, and the students of grade X TSM as the samples of control group. The techniques of data collections used measurement and observation. Meanwhile the instruments employed that is the achievement test in the form of essay. The calculation results of the post test effect size of 0.83, which meant cooperative learning model snowball throwing type by flash media influence which was 29.67 % and considered high which indicated the positive effect. The results showed differences between the learning outcomes which were taught by using cooperative learning model snowball throwing type by flash media with the lecture method by flash media.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Snowball Throwing, Redox Reactions, Flash Media

Abstract. This research is based on the students' mathematical communication ability at SMP Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu which is still low. To overcome the problem is applied learning model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). This study aims to determine the ability of students' mathematical communication using the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). This research type is quasi experiment research. The research design used was randomized subjects posttest only control group design. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. After the sample was taken randomly, the students selected VIII.6 class as experimental class and students of class VIII.5 as the control class. The instrument in this research is a test of students' mathematical communication skill. The data analysis technique used Independent Samples T-Test (t-test) test. Based on hypothesis test results obtained that tcount = 5,065> ttable = 2.002 with (df = 60) and a real level of 5%. Reject H0 if thitung value is ttable. So it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students using the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) is better than the students' mathematical communication skills using conventional learning model. Keywords: Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR), mathematical communication.

The STAD cooperative learning model can support active, independent and responsible learning for students. The application of this model is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using Edmodo-assisted learning models. Edmodo was modified to become a teacher tool to expand learning at home. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design involving 39 students of class VIII MTs At-Taqwa Beru, Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the results of the study it was found that the Edmodo-assisted STAD type cooperative learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

This research is a quasy experiment which aimed to finding out the effect of contextual learning model implementation assisted by media flash on the understanding concept of physics in SMPN 1 Labuapi. The population is all class VIII which filled by 117 students, while the sample of this research is class VIII B with 23 students as experiment group and grade VIII C with 23 students as control group. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The hypothesis is tested by t-test separated varians. Based on by calculation hypothesis testing obtained that there is a difference of understanding concept of physics between experiment group which is given treatment with contextual learning model assisted by media flash and control group which is given treatment as convensional learning. The mean of the posttest for experiment group is greater than control group, so it can be obtained that contextual learning model assisted by media flash given positive result for understanding concept of physics in grade VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi. N-gain test given that for all of sub materi of light showed that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of class experiment is higher than control class, so it can be obtained that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of experiment group is higher than control group.

This research is motivated by the low mastery of basic movements due to the incorrect way of doing the passing technique. How to teach volleyball games using the lecture method so as to make students less interested so that students become less active during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was effectiveness in the problem based learning model on the psychomotor outcomes of volleyball underpassing in class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Semarang and discovery learning models on psychomotor outcomes of volleyball underpassing in class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design (quasi-experimental) with the design used in this study is the Noneequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using tests. The population in this study were students of class XI SMK N 2 Semarang, with samples of class XI BDP 1 and XI UPW 1 students. The results showed that the hypothesis test was obtained t count (22.669 < 29.556) which means that the problem based learning and discovery learning models are effective in psychomotor results of passing under volleyball in class XI students of SMK N 2 Semarang. The results of the effectiveness of passing down volleyball with a problem based learning model of 83.06. While the results of the effectiveness of passing down volleyball with the discovery learning model of 89.00. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the discovery learning learning model is more effective than problem based learning exercises for the effectiveness of passing down volleyball in class XI students of SMK N 2 Semarang, because from the data the value of the discovery learning model is greater than problem based learning.

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in maths learning achievement between classes taught by cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type and class taught by cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together (NHT) in material sistim coordinat cartesius class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kediri 2018/2019 school year. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques with instruments in the form of learning achievement test, learning implementation observasion sheets and learning implementation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. Hypothesis test of students' final ability (posstest) with t-test of two parties at a significance level of 5% resulted in tcount <ttable namely 0,020 < 2.030 which means that there were nothing differences in mathematics learning achievement between classes taught by cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division ( STAD) and classes taught by the cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) in material sistim coordinat cartesius class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kediri academic year 2018/2019.

This study examines the problem of improving mathematics learning outcomes among students with cooperative learning model NHT type and conventional learning approaches is reviewed as a whole and for each level of mathematical ability (high, medium, and low). This research is a quasi-experimental research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design uses Simple Random Sampling technique. The population in this study were students of class VII in a private junior high school in the city of Pekanbaru in Riau in the academic year 2014/2015. While the sample is graders VII2 as control class and class VII2 as an experimental class. The instrument used in this study is the mathematics achievement test. Quantitative analysis was performed using two mean difference test. The results showed that: (1) there is significant implementation of cooperative learning model NHT on the results of students' mathematics learning is reviewed as a whole and the level of ability was; (2) there is no effect of the application of cooperative learning model NHT towards mathematics learning outcomes of students based on high and low-level capabilities.
