This study aims at determining the science concepts and subjects used in the "religion courses" taught in secondary schools and the contribution of science to religion courses, which is not a widely studied topic in the relevant literature. Like qualitative research, this study is a multiple case study. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview with five Muslim religion teachers working in an eastern city of Turkey. The interview data were analyzed using the basic descriptive and content analysis methods. The findings showed that religion teachers benefit from the concepts and subjects of science in their courses; using life sciences in their religion courses had a positive impact in teaching religious subjects better to the students; the use of the concepts of life sciences in religion courses enabled students to perceive the subject better; students enjoyed the use of science concepts in religion courses and also students asked questions to their teachers about many subjects of life sciences. Religion teachers expressed that they did not feel competent enough in the life sciences. Some recommendations, such as organizing in-service training have been made for religion teachers to feel competent enough in life sciences.

This article presents the partial results of a broader research on the conceptions and evaluative actions of six physical education teachers in high school in the city of Medellín (Colombia). Specifically, this paper presents the findings on one of its objectives: to analyze the decisions that teachers make before starting a didactic unit (planning on assessment). The research assumed a qualitative design, with a methodological approach of multiple case study. The strategies used for this purpose were the semi-structured interview and documentary analysis. The main findings of the study show that planning on assessment is not a specific activity that requires an interest on the part of the teachers, because their previous experiences give them the security to approach future units without adaptations according to the group or the subject to work on.

These companies' activities are statutory aimed at bridging for-profit and no-profit activities; thus, they intentionally and statutory pursue economic purposes together with social and environmental ones, to create a positive impact on economy, society and environment. Even though, Italian and other national laws set some specific disclosure duties for Benefit Corporations, especially in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, the literature still calls for further research on the topic. Therefore, this paper is aimed at contributing to bridge this gap, investigating the way Italian Benefit Corporations approach ESG disclosure. To this end, an exploratory analysis has been conducted, implementing a qualitative method, based on a multiple case study strategy. Even though the descriptive nature of the study, the achieved findings pointed out that the Benefit Corporation structure not necessarily implies a better approach to ESG.

This study explored Grade 3 teachers’ use of an inquiry-based approach to mediate the development of basic science concepts among learners within the socio-cultural theory. This study adopted interpretive case study research of the qualitative type, using a sample of four (4) female teachers who use the home language of learners as the language of instruction. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview guide and observational schedule which was properly validated. Analysis of data was achieved through thematic data analysis. The result of the study revealed that the foundation phase teachers are aware of the importance of the use of the inquiry-based approach in mediating the development of basic science concepts by the learners, but only one out of the four participants implemented it. Thus, it was recommended that there should be a provision of further professional development spaces that promote a community of practice in using an Inquiry-Based Approach in the Foundation Phase.   Keywords: Basic science concepts, Grade 3 teachers, Foundation Phase, Inquiry-Based approach

Creativity represents the point in which all contradictions of contemporary social development are summed up, refracted and reflected. Therefore, the question arises: "Is school a place that does (not) encourage creativity?" Creativity, as a psychological, social and pedagogical phenomenon, has a markedly positive impact on the overall development of a child or, in case of school, a student. The project teaching method calls for the school to be open and to be more closely connected with its environment, in order to enhance the students' independence and creativity, self-initiative, responsibility, cooperativeness, ability to apply information and communication technologies as well as digital teaching tools as sources of knowledge. This article presents the project method as an element of stimulating students' creativity in teaching the subject Nature and Society, planned for the third grade of elementary school. By reviewing the relevant literature as well as by experimental research on a convenience sample of students, we have identified acceptable options and some effects of applying this method. At the same time, we have also raised a number of issues that should be addressed later in order to further stimulate the development of creativity through teaching.

According to the IDHS, the MMR in 2018 has decreased but is still quite high. The high MMR indicates that the health status in Indonesia is still not good. One of the factors causing AKI and IMR is pregnancy in mothers with poor nutritional status. Poor nutritional status will cause babies to be born with LBW so that the potential for death is higher. Efforts and steps for handling this strategy are to carry out comprehensive midwifery care for mothers starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning (KB). Appropriate care related to the fulfillment of nutrition for pregnant women will have a positive impact on the delivery process, postpartum and BBL. The aim is to provide comprehensive care and to observe the results of the process of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, low birth weight and family planning to mothers with poor nutritional status.
