The increase in the number of visitors to the hotel each year has the potential to further develop, but the problem is the appeal of Traditional Sundanese Foods found in the hotel is not known by many people. This study aims to formulate the appropriate sales promotion strategy to be applied at The Jayakarta Bandung Suite Hotel & Spa through SWOT analysis approach. Where based on SWOT analysis results, external factors with the highest score that affect the increase in sales is an opportunity factor is branding the city of Bandung as a culinary destination, while the highest threat is food from other countries. Internal factor with highest score is the strength factor that is the appeal of the menu offered, while the weakness factor is promotion. A suitable strategy to be applied for market is penetration strategy and product improvement strategy.

Palu is one of the main areas that have regional salinity and the management is still using the traditional way. Internal factors of inner salt farmers and external factors affecting the production of folk salt in the city of Palu. This study aims to (1) identify the internal factors that become strengths and weaknesses in increased production of community-based salt at Palu bay; (2) identify external factors that became opportunities and threats in the increased production of community-based salt in Palu Bay; (3) define an alternative strategies for improving folk’s salt production in Palu bay. SWOT analysis results indicate that the appropriate strategy in improving the community-based salt production in Palu bay is in the position of the quadrant I SO strategy (Strength-Opportunities). This strategy is implemented by the program: (1) Maximizing production by utilizing the available resources; (2) Increasing the salt farmer mastery of science that accompanied the adoption of appropriate technological innovation; and (3) Increasing capacity in marketing management and build a broader partnership. The results of the analysis obtained the best strategy QSPM the 2nd program "Improvement of salt farmer mastery of science that accompanied the adoption of technological innovations.

The aim of being able to see what development strategies are suitable for mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City. The research objective was to see the strategy for developing mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City with a SWOT analysis. The data collection used was a questionnaire method with a list of questions to the respondents. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis to see internal factors and external factors, which will then be entered into the SWOT matrix. The research results obtained from the analysis of internal factors and external factors. The result of the internal factor is a strength (strength) of 2.75 while the weakness (weakness) is 1.46, so the value of the internal factor is 2.75-1.46 = 1.29 while from the external factor the opportunity (opportunity) is 2 , 52 and for the threat (threat) is 1.58, the value of the external factor is 2.52-1.58 = 0.94. Based on the analysis diagram, the SWOT strategy is in the Cell (quadrant) I position. This shows that the SO strategy in the SWOT matrix is an aggressive strategy. This strategy explains that Kampung Sejahtera mangrove tourism can take advantage of the surrounding environment. The environment around mangrove tourism is still natural so that it is very likely for the community to add stages such as trading, opening food stalls, and lodging businesses around the mangrove tourism of Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, and Utilizing mangrove forests so as not to abrasion around mangrove tourism Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, which makes the tourist area safe and tourists who visit are comfortable and not worried about abrasion

ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan di Kelompok Usaha Bersama Karya Mina Lestari selama 2 bulan yaitu dari bulan Juni – Juli 2019. Penelitian bertujuan untuk :  1) Mengetahui strategi pemasaran ikan kakap merah KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Karya Mina Lestari 2)  Mengetahui peluang pasar usaha ikan kakap merah KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Karya Mina Lestari di Kelurahan Lantora Kecamatan Polewali Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor internal dapat disimpulkan faktor kekuatan adalah 2,35 lebih besar dibandingkan faktor kelemahan adalah 1,45 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan dapat mendukung pengembangan usaha pemasaran ikan kakap merah di KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Kayra Mina Lestari sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal dapat disimpukan nilai faktor peluang adalah 2,1 lebih besar dari nilai total faktor ancaman 0,80 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Kelompok Usaha Bersama Karya Mina Lestari memiliki potensi peluang yang besar.  Keyword : KUB, SWOT, Kakap Merah ABSTRACT The present study was conducted in Joint Business Group of Mina Lestari from June to July 2019 (two months). The objectives of the present study were to determine the marketing strategy and the market opportunity of red snapper fish in Joint Business Group (KUB) of Mina Lestari, Lantora, Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. A case study with SWOT analysis was applied for the analysis technique. The results showed that internal factor consists of strength factor (2,35) and weakness factor (1,45) in which the strength factor is able to promote the business marketing development of red snapper fish in KUB Mina Lestari. Meanwhile, the external factor indicated 2,1 of opportunity value which is greater than 0,080 of threat factor. <p>Batu Rongring Ecotourism is in the buffer zone of National Park of Gunung Leuser (TNGL). The uniqueness of ecosystems, customs, and flora of the flora makes Batu Rongring Ecotourism interesting to visit. Batu Rongring Ecotourism Planning and Development must be in accordance with the characteristics and potential of the Natural Attraction Attraction (ODTWA) in Batu Rongring. This study aims to analyze landscape planning in developing Batu Rongring ecotourism as a buffer for TNGL. ODTWA potential analysis for the Rongring Stone Development Strategy uses internal factor analysis (IFAS), external factors (EFAS) and SWOT Analysis. Landscape planning is done by involving stakeholders in the Forum Group Disscusion (FGD). The results of the assessment in the development of Batu Rongring Ecotourism is known the value of IFAS = 2.71 which makes the strategy in the development of Rongring Stone is the strength and the value of EFAS = 3.33 establishes the strategy used in developing the Rongring Stone is an opportunity. Batu Rongring Ecotourism has ODTWA that can be developed. Potential ODTWA found in Batu Rongring are: Sei Musam River, Flora fauna, Community huts, Customs, Caves. Batu Rongring Ecotourism development strategies are: Nature Tourism Attraction, Tourism Cooperation, Ecotourism Training, Capital, Sarpras, Economic Tourism, Traditional Tourism, Perdes, Online Promotion.</p>

The aim of this study was to evaluate of the promotion strategy of Museum Bali Puputan Badung, Denpasar, Bali, in order to increase the quantity of the visitors. The phenomenon of this study was lack of promotion which caused the quantity of the visitors have not reached the target yet. The promotion strategies used five variables of marketing mix such as advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relation and direct marketing.This is a qualitative descriptive study using the purposive technique and snowball sampling by interviewing personnels at Museum Bali. The data was analyzed using the SWOT analysis by crating promotion mix strategy formulation.  The result of this study from the plan of the matrix combination quantitative strategy showed that Museum Bali needed to utilize the SO strategy that has the highest score was 6.34, the ST strategy was 5.65, the WO strategy was 2.49 and the WT strategy 1.80, with the effective formulation strategy was SO. It showed that attractiveness of the Museum Bali has strengths and opportunities so that can be utilized the existing of the opportunities. The strategy should be applied in this condition is to support the growth of the aggressive policy (growth oriented strategy).

The research aims to identify patterns of relationships patron-client in Tambak RejoVillage, to analyze internal and exsternal factors which is an aspect of theopportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses in the development Gapokdakan in Tambak Rejo Village, Formulating alternative development strategies Gapokdakan in Tambak Rejo Village. The type of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by direct observation and interviews in depth about gapokdakan  and secondary data from the literature books, articles, court documentation etc. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis to determine the pattern of patronclient, a SWOT analysis to look at the search for and review of internal and external factors to determine a good decision, whereas for determining the position of developmental conditions Gapokdakan that the formulation matrix IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation ) and matrix EFE (External Factor Evaluation). The results of this research is the patron-client that occurred in the Tambak Rejo village is lending system capital provided by middlemen to farmers in the form of fish feed, but this kind of relationship there are times when farmers in disadvantaged because of the incompatibility of fish price per kilogram, and the price increase feed if borrowed from brokers, on the other hand the benefits that the convenience of farmers to capital, marketing is assured, and farmers can continue farming fish. SWOT analysis for the IFE and EFE matrix is internal factor the highest strength is the availability of the fish pond, the highest weaknesses are internal factors that are difficult or capital financing farmers, the results of internal factors evaluation matrix, internal factor of gapokdakan is good. External factors greatest opportunities, namely the potential of tilapia hatchery in the Tambak Rejo village, as well as external factors are the biggest threat is the virus tilapia. There are two alternative development strategies Gapokdakan in Tambak Rejo, one of the strategic alternatives that Increase production with facilities and infrastructure and maintain the quality so that production can always meet existing market. Keywords: Patron-Klien, Swot, strategic alternative, Gapokdakan

Strategy for Controlling the Transfer of Agricultural Land Functions inSubakKerdung, Sub-District of South Denpasar, Denpasar CityControl over the conversion of agricultural land is very necessary in order to maintainthe existence and sustainability of subak in the City of Denpasar, especially inSubakKerdung. There needs to be appropriate strategies as a solution so that controlover the conversion of agricultural land in SubakKerdung can be done. The purpose ofthis study was to determine internal and external factors and to find out the mostappropriate strategy in controlling the conversion of agricultural land in SubakKerdung.The results of the analysis of internal factors in SubakKerdung were: a) strength (theapplication of Tri Hita Karana in subak), b) weakness (low interest of subak members todefend their land). External factors were: a) opportunities (the development ofecotourism as a tourist attraction), b) threats (over the function of agriculturalland).Based on the SWOT analysis, the development strategies found were: (a) S-OStrategy - Optimizing the empowerment of farmer communities as the main actors inecotourism development by directly selling their agricultural products to tourists. (b) WOStrategy - Conducting education and training through counseling in adopting newinnovations so that agricultural products can be marketed to tourists. (c) S-T Strategy -Planting vegetables that have high economic value and can be processed into snacks anddrinks (d) The W-T Strategy -Implementing and increasing the intensity of educationand training on tour guides, i.e. English training for young people and farmingcommunities.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine alternative strategies in the development of bamboo handicrafts business in Pasirjambu Village Pasirjambu District in Bandung Regency. Method used survey with SWOT analysis. The results show that the total value obtained from the IFAS table is 6.40 (average 3.20) with a strength score of 3,550 and the weakness score of 2.850, it shows that the strength factor of the bamboo handicraft business is greater than the weakness factor, while the total value EFAS of 6.10 (average 3.05). A opportunity score of 3.10 and a threat score of 3.0. This means that the opportunity factor is greater than the threat factor. The result of calculation of rating value and internal factor weight of bamboo handicraft business development strategy in Pasirjambu Village as X axis equal to 0,100, while external factor as Y axis equal to 0,700. This means the right alternative strategy is the SO strategy. Metode yang digunakan survey dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil, menunjukkan bahwa total nilai yang diperoleh dari tabel IFAS  adalah 6,40  (rata-rata 3,20) dengan skor kekuatan 3,550 dan skor kelemahan sebesar 2,850, ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan usaha kerajinan bambu lebih besar dari faktor kelemahan, sedangkan total nilai EFAS yaitu sebesar 6,10 (rata-rata 3,05).  Skor peluang 3,10 dan skor ancaman sebesar 3,0. Artinya faktor peluang yang dimiliki lebih besar dari faktor ancaman. Hasil perhitungan nilai rating dan bobot faktor internal dari strategi pengembangan usaha kerajinan bambu di Desa Pasirjambu sebagai sumbu X sebesar 0,100, sedangkan faktor eksternal sebagai sumbu Y sebesar 0,700. Artinya strategi alternatif yang tepat adalah strategi SO. Strategi SO adalah strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Kata kunci : Kerajinan bambu, perajin bambu, analisis SWOT

The role of SMEs in Indonesia in the country's economy is very important. Because the development of SMEs in Indonesia is quite rapid where almost one million per year. However, many problems in the development of SMEs have even led to bankruptcy. This research has the aim of obtaining an appropriate strategy to develop SMEs especially for SMEs which are included in the superior SMEs villages such as the SMEs bag in Gadukan Surabaya. Hopefully in the future the strategy can be implemented for other SMEs in the city of Surabaya. The method used in this study is using the Delphi method for identification of factors, factor evaluation using Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE), designing alternative strategies with SWOT analysis, positioning SMEs with a grand strategy matrix, and selecting strategies that right with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results obtained in this study are getting 5 strength factors, 7 weakness factors, 6 opportunity factors, and 5 threat factors. Produce 18 alternative strategies resulting from the SWOT analysis. The position of SMEs in the Grand Strategy matrix quadrant is in Quadrant I. The results of the prioritized strategy determination by the AHP method, namely the SMEs bag strategy need to collaborate with the Tourism Office to make the village Gadukan a tourist shopping place for tourists who come to Surabaya.
