Background. Phylloid tumors are a fairly rare pathology (about 0.3–0.5 % of all breast tumors), which is why there is no single protocol for the treatment of this pathology. Also, due to the lack of data and the rare occurrence, it is difficult to diagnose and choose the final management tactics of the patient. Phylloid tumors can be benign, borderline, and malignant neoplasms, which also complicates the treatment process. The final decision on the choice of patient management tactics can be made only after receiving the results of a planned pathomorphological examination.Materials and methods. In this article, we will discuss the results of major retrospective studies, including data on epidemiology, etiology, diagnostic approach, strategies and results of treatment of phylloid breast tumors, as well as present data on patients treated at the Russian Scientific Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the period from January 2010 to February 2021.Results. The main methods of instrumental diagnosis of phylloid tumors are mammography, ultrasound and MRI. Morphological examination is important in making a diagnosis. Fine-needle biopsy often does not allow establishing an accurate diagnosis, and therefore the main method of diagnosis remains pathohistological examination. The main method of treatment of phylloid tumors remains surgical, where, depending on the trepan biopsy, the question of the feasibility of performing an organ-preserving operation is decided.Conclusion. Phylloid tumors are a rare type of breast neoplasm, which is the reason for the relatively small amount of scientific research that addresses this particular problem.

Abstract. The authors present the results of the use of herbicides on winter wheat crops in the steppe zone of North Ossetia-Alania. The purpose of the work is to study the effectiveness of the use of herbicides in winter wheat crops. The object of research is two varieties of winter wheat – Trio and Utrish, which differ in maturity, susceptibility to leaf-stem pathogens. The novelty lies in the fact that for the first time in the steppe zone of the Mozdok region, in the research and production department of the North Caucasus Research Institute of Mining and Piedmont Agriculture of the All-Russian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the effectiveness of the use of herbicides in winter wheat crops was studied, an economic assessment of the studied agricultural techniques was given. Methods. The counts and observations were carried out according to generally accepted methods described in the “Educational-methodical guide for conducting research in agronomy”. Results. As a result of the use of herbicides and their tank mixture, it contributed to a significant reduction in the number of weeds (the percentage of death in the bumping phase varied between 55.9–81.1 % compared to the control). The removal of mineral nutrition elements by weeds was: nitrogen – 72.6 kg/ha, phosphorus – 14.4 kg/ha, potassium-52.4 kg/ha. Herbicides had a positive effect on photosynthetic activity. The leaf area during its maximum development (earing phase) according to the studied variants increased by 12.7–16.4 %, and the photosynthetic potential – by 13.7–17.8 %. The PPF for the studied options (the average value for the growing season) increased by 0.34–0.51 g/m2 per day. The studied drugs contributed to a significant increase in productivity. The largest increase was obtained according to the option: Grench (5 g/ha) + Luvaram (800 ml / ha) – 2.39–2.60 t/ha. The profitability level in the control (without herbicides) was at the level of 25.7 % (grade Trio), and according to the studied options ranged from 148.7 % (Luvarum 1600 ml / ha) to 169.2 % (Grench 5 g/ha + Luvaram 800 ml/ha).

Using the traditional and marker-assisted selection methods, a comprehensive assessment of promising hybrids from the collection of the All-Russian Scientific Center was carried out. The assessment was conducted in 2018–2019 in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. As a result of molecular genetic analysis, hybrids were found with complex resistance to potato nematode, virus Y and X viruses - 2 / V, 5 / V, 6 / V, 17 / V, 40 / V, 43 / V, 46 / V, 54 / V, 124 / V, 9 / VI, 22a / VI, 35 / VI, 130 / VI, 71 / VII and 118 / VIII. Use of these selected forms allows optimal protection of potatoes, limitation of the spread of pathogens and prevention of the emergence of more aggressive pathotypes (races and strains). The hybrids with resistance to potato virus Y (with the presence of R-gene markers - 1/I, 3/I, 10/I, 13/I, 11/II, 15/III, 2/V, 5/V, 6/V, 7/V, 10/V/1140, 17/V, 40/V, 43/V, 46/V, 54/V, 124/V, 9/VI, 22a/VI, 35/VI, 100/VI, 130/VI, 71/VII) are of interest for practical breeding, as well as the hybrids with resistance to Phytophthora infestans such as 15/III, 119/IX and the hybrids 15 / III, 35 / VI, 130 / VI and 71 / VII, which have high marketable yield and weight of tuber. Keywords: potato, interspecific hybrids, marker-assisted breeding, resistance genes

Water is a serious vector of transmission of pathogenic bacteria. The quality of drinking water supplied to the drinking system when raising broiler chickens is one of the main афсещкs for the efficient production of poultry meat. With intensive poultry management when a large number of livestock is concentrated in one territory, it is necessary to pay special attention to the microflora of indoor air. The main sources of pollution are the poultry itself, feed and litter. The purpose of the research was to develop technological modes of using drug Anolit ANK SUPER in the rearing of broiler chickens. The research has been carried out on broiler chickens of the cross «Ross 308». The conditions of housing and feeding with the exception of the studied factor were the same for all groups of poultry and corresponded to the recommendations of the Federal Scientific Center «All-Russian Scientific Research and Technological Institute of Poultry» of Russian Academy of Science. The series of five experiments on the use of the neutral anolyte Anolit ANK SUPER was carried out in the work. It has been proposed to determine the quality of the preparation of the system of drinking lines in poultry premises using the System SURE Plus device (luminometer) and the Ultra Snap test. Experiment 5 has been carried out to study the effect of aerosol air treatment of poultry premises in the presence of poultry with the neutral anolyte on the concentration of microorganisms in the air of the poultry house and the productivity of broilers. The expediency of using the Anolit ANK SUPER drug for the sanitation of the drinking system in poultry premises has been determined. Comparative tests of the effectiveness of the drugs Anolit ANK SUPER, CID 2000 and DUTRION have been conducted. The features of various technological modes of using the Anolit ANK SUPER product in the rearing of broiler chickens have been shown and the effectiveness of their use has been established.

Background. Poor-risk neuroblastoma treatment is still a challenge because of high relapse rate. Combination of high dose chemotherapy (HDCT) with MIBG I131 radiotherapy is a relatively new strategy for consolidation regimens in some patients with neuroblastoma. Objective. The aim of the study was to assess the safety and efficacy of a complex consolidation in a treatment of high-risk neuroblastoma patients in a pilot clinical trial. Methods. In our cohort study we analyzed toxicity along with 2- and 4- years OS and EFS in a cohort of 12 patients who got a consolidation based on Treo/ Mel HDCT in combination with MIBG I131 as a part of high-risk neuroblastoma treatment protocol since 2014 till 2018. The study was conducted in the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Scientific Research Institute of Blokhin’s National Medical Cancer Research Center (Moscow). The treatment with MIBG I131 was done in settings of isolated ward of Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenology and Radiology. Results. Maximum cumulative organ toxicity of grade 2 or less was seen in 92% of patients. There was no treatment-related mortality. OS for 2 and 4 years was 87,5% ± 11,7% (for both time points). EFS for 2 and 4 years – 61,4 ± 15,3% and 49,1 ± 16,4%, respectively. Conclusion. Consolidation regimen based on Treo/Mel with MIBG I131 is safe. As a part of treatment program, it provides 4-years EFS for about a half of patients with poor-risk neuroblastoma with active residual tumor at the moment of consolidation.

Over the last 15 years 40 dissertations on traditional medicine, in particular – on reflexology, were presented in the Dissertation Council at the Russian Scientific Center “Medical rehabilitation and balneology". Among them, 11 works were on competition of a scientific degree of the doctor of Sciences and 31 – scientific degree of the candidate of Sciences. Thesis presentation in chronological order is as follows: in 2001 – 4 works; in 2003 – 7 ; in 2004 – 6; in 2005 – 3; in 2006 – 2; in 2007 – 1; in 2008 – 6; in 2009 – 5; in 2010 – 1; in 2011 – 3; in 2012 – 1; in 2013 – 1 and, finally, in 2014 – 2. Thus, there has been some reduction in the number of works, and, possibly, the decline of interest in the problem itself. With a certain degree of conventionality, the authors have divided the thesis into blocks "Fundamental research", "New technologies", "Traditional medicine in diseases of the nervous system and internistiche pathology", etc. It should be recognized that all dissertations were defended, but are not of equal quality. The authors note that in each block there are works devoted to the important issue - the combina-tion of acupuncture and homeopathy, including pharmacopuncture. The presented studies were discussed adequately, emitting positions "contingent", "methods", "general provisions".

Cellular angiofibroma is a rare type of benign mesenchymal tumour that arises mostly in middle-aged women. It needs to be distinguished from other neoplasms and has a predilection for the vulvovaginal region. To our knowledge, this is the first case of a cervical cellular angiofibroma. A 34-year-old nulligravid woman was referred with a large mass bulging in the fornix posterior. Ultrasound scanning and MRI showed a large solid mass projecting in the pouch of Douglas. Laparoscopic surgical excision was performed. Histopathological examination showed a well-demarcated, unencapsulated tumour, consisting of short fascicles of spindle cells in-between thick-walled medium-sized vessels. On immunohistochemistry, there was strong reactivity with antibodies against CD34 and oestrogen receptor. Angiofibromas are benign mesenchymal tumours mostly occurring in middle-aged women. They can cause abnormal swelling and uterine bleeding and need to be distinguished from other (malignant) neoplasms.
