A quantitative analysis of the structure of Nicholas II's speeches was made in the period 1894-1906, in comparison with his speeches, presented in the journal Niva in 1916. The basis for the analysis is the total number of words in the sentences that make up the analyzed speech. A significant change in the total number of words in sentences pertaining to the dates considered has been revealed.

ABSTRACT A quantitative analysis of spermatogenesis has been made in rats bearing bilateral lesions of the lateral mammillary nuclei or of the suprachiasmatic nuclei of the hypothalamus. There was no significant change in the germinal cell counts in lesioned rats as compared either with normal or with sham operated rats.

Abstract To examine the mechanism of illegitimate recombination in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, we have developed a plasmid system for quantitative analysis of deletion formation. A can1 cyh2 cell carrying two negative selection markers, the CAN1 and CYH2 genes, on a YCp plasmid is sensitive to canavanine and cycloheximide, but the cell becomes resistant to both drugs when the plasmid has a deletion over the CAN1 and CYH2 genes. Structural analysis of the recombinant plasmids obtained from the resistant cells showed that the plasmids had deletions at various sites of the CAN1-CYH2 region and there were only short regions of homology (1-5 bp) at the recombination junctions. The results indicated that the deletion detected in this system were formed by illegitimate recombination. Study on the effect of several rad mutations showed that the recombination rate was reduced by 30-, 10-, 10-, and 10-fold in the rad52, rad50, mre11, and xrs2 mutants, respectively, while in the rud51, 54, 55, and 57 mutants, the rate was comparable to that in the wild-type strain. The rad52 mutation did not affect length of homology at junction sites of illegitimate recombination.

Abstract Major advances have been made in understanding the structure, function and regulation of the small GTP-binding proteins of the Rho family and their involvement in multiple cellular process and disorders. However, intrinsic nucleotide exchange and hydrolysis reactions, which are known to be fundamental to Rho family proteins, have been partially investigated in the case of RhoA, Rac1 and Cdc42, but for others not at all. Here we present a comprehensive and quantitative analysis of the molecular switch functions of 15 members of the Rho family that enabled us to propose an active GTP-bound state for the rather uncharacterized isoforms RhoD and Rif under equilibrium and quiescent conditions.

A quantitative analysis of the variable-temperature 1H N.M.R. spectra of acetylacetonatotrimethyl-platinum(IV) has been made. In CDCl3 solution the exchange of acetylacetonate ligands is a first-order reaction and proceeds predominantly by dissociation of the dimer into two separated five-coordinate activated complexes. The activation energy is 61.5 0.8 kJ mol-1.

This article contains a quantitative analysis of the camera market and discloses the possibilities of comprehensive application of quantitative analysis and theoretical game modeling in the practice of making decisions in the field of the photo industry. It is noted that almost any phenomenon in the financial and economic sphere requires a thorough and comprehensive assessment, and the method of analyzing data in the form of dynamic series and theoretical and game models is most in demand in the conditions of actualization of risks of various nature. It is shown that the analysis of the dynamic series allows you to evaluate and predict the development of the economic situation, to form recommendations for making managerial decisions. Particular attention is paid to the construction and analysis of the basic game model of the manufacturer's choice of camera equipment for the time of launch of products to the market, taking into account projected demand. The inclusion of the risk factor in the process of quantitative analysis of the camera market helps to improve the quality of decisions made, in particular when choosing marketing strategies.

The development of the force method of structural analysis has been hindered by the difficulty of generating a suitable maximal set of independent self-equilibrating stress systems, known as statical or null basis. Recent developments to overcome this problem can be classified as topological, combinatorial, algebraic, mixed and integrated force methods. Combinatorial methods are efficient and provide insight to the problems involved, however, further research is needed before a unified formulation can be made. Algebraic methods are simple and general in nature, however, their automation requires considerable amount of operations and storage. The insight to the problems are not present in these methods. Mixed methods incorporate the efficiency of the existing combinatorial methods and generality of the algebraic approaches. In this paper, the progress made in the analysis of structures by means of the force method is reviewed, and directions required for further advances are specified. It is hoped that such advances will make the force method competitive to the displacement approach in fields such as non-linear analysis and optimization of structures. This will hopefully put the force method as an efficient counterpart to the displacement approach in computational mechanics.

The research was conducted in the Bukit Senja City Forest Area, Middle Singkawang  District, Singkawang City. The purpose of the research was to find out diversity of forest vegetation in the city forest and vegetation which dominate the forest. The research was carried out for ± 4 weeks in the field and continued to analysis data. Method used in the research is direct observation through the analysis of vegetation in the field by using a line of paved paths made in a direction perpendicular to the contour with 4 lines each path = 500m with lane 1 as many as 25 plots, lane 2 as many as 25 plots, lane 3 as many 19 plots and lanes 4 of 25 plots. Based on analysis on data there were dominant trees which filled the forest based on INP seed, namely Durian 78.828%, Karet 53.480% and Jelatung 22.81%. According to the type of tillers namely Karet 34.58%, Durian 26.02%, and Simpur 23.97%. From the quantitative analysis it showed that be seen that in the index value dominant  (C) of a species is <1, which means the kind of go contained in the research is varies not only is controlled by one kind of. Diversity Type (H ') is in the group <1 which means it has a moderate Diversity Index (1 <H' <3). Abundant index (e) results show that the value of E => 0.6, which means that the type of abundant is high. Keywords: Bukit Senja Singkawang middle, City Forest, Vegetation Species Diversity

The article considers the issue of variability of phraseological units (PU) component structure including the functionally leading component get and representing, according to A. V. Kunin’s classification, two most widespread three-component structural patterns, i.e. (1) V + (d) + N + Prep + θ and (2) V + (d) + Adj + N. Despite its crucial role, this segment has not been the focus of a complex study creating a lacuna in English phraseology, therefore there is a need for structural analysis of its patterns. A number of both poliparadigmal and specific research methods, including the method of the componential and quantitative analysis and dictionary definitions, were applied in this study. As a result, both simple and complex phraseological variants in each of the two structural patterns were found. Phraseologisms of the first pattern were subjected to variability in 91% of occurrences, phraseologisms of the second pattern were subjected to variability in 81% of occurrences...

This study aims to determine the effect of empathy training to reduce bullying behavior on the offender bullying in primary school. Subjects in this study were 10-11 years old who have low and medium empathy scores nor high and medium bullying behavior. There were eight students who become participants in this study. The data were collected by using interview, observation, peer relations questionaires, bullying scales, and empathy scales. This study was using one group pretest-posttest design. The data were analyzed by using quantitative analysis of two related sample test by Wilcoxon. The results showed that empathy scores (Z=-2.52, p=0.012 (p<0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-2.207, p=0.027 (p<0.05)) underwent a significant change pretest-posttest. Meanwhile, empathy scores Z=-1.452, p=0.146 (p>0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-1.897, p=0.058 (p>0.05)) had no significant changes posttest- follow up. Furthermore, empathy scores (Z=-2.530, p=0.011 (p<0.05)) and bullying scores (Z=-2.533, p=0.011 (p<0.05)) underwent a significant change pretest- follow-up.
