Features of the heart rate variability at patients with acute disorder of cerebral circulation depending on localisation of ischemic damage and type of hemodynamics were studied in acute period of disease and in a condition of relative functional rest. Surveyed men and women (30–55 years old) were divided into 3 groups: patients with ischemic damage to the area of the left average brain artery, right average brain artery and with ischemia in vertebro-basilar department. According to indicators of the integral rheography of the body which was carried out in the acute period of a disease, patients of each group were divided into subgroups depending on hemodynamics type – with hyper dynamic, hypo dynamic and normo dynamic type of blood circulation. It was revealed that the highest activity of sympathetic link of regulation and also higher values of the index of tension and the index of vegetative balance characterized patients with ischemia in the area of right average brain artery and hyper dynamic type of blood circulation. The indicator of activity of regulatory systems characterized “overstrain of regulatory mechanisms” and also “exhaustion of mechanisms of regulation” at patients of this group in the acute period. However upon repeated examination 7 days later revealed the significant reduction of the values of the indicator of activity of regulatory systems. Similar indicators of the heart rate variability were found at patients with ischemic damage in the area of right average brain artery and normo dynamic type of blood circulation. Thus, it was detected that the greatest disorders of regulation of the cardiovascular system were characteristic of patients with ischemia in the area of right average brain artery both hyper dynamic and normo dynamic blood circulation types. Activation of parasympathetic and suppression of sympathetic link of regulation were noted in all patients on the seventh day of hospital stay regardless of localisation of ischemic damage and type of hemodynamics.

Features of the heart rate variability at patients with acute disorder of cerebral circulation depending on the type of hemodynamics were studied in acute period of disease and in a condition of relative functional rest. Surveyed men and women (121 patients, 3055 years old) were divided into 3 groups according to the type of hemodynamics that was defined at the first day of their disease: the groups of patients with hyper-, hypo- and normodynamic types of hemodynamics were selected. The integral rheography of the body was carried out again on the 7th day of hospitalization of the patients. And according to the received data all examined individuals were divided into subgroups. The evaluation of indicators of the heart rate variability at patients during acute period of disease showed the significant increase of activity of the sympathetic link of regulation among people with hyperdynamic type of hemodynamics: the indices of tension and vegetative balance also as the standard deviation of NN intervals (SDNN) were rather law. The sam e patients examined on the 7th day of their disease demonstrated the reduction of the indices of tension and vegetative balance and the increase of the mean square difference between the duration of adjacent R-R intervals (RMSSD). These changes were regarded as gradual weakening of the sympathetic influences on cardio-vascular system in stabilization period. At examination of patients in a week from the moment of their hospitalization transformation of the type of hemodynamics was revealed among many of the surveyed. The indices of tension and vegetative balance were the lowest among patients with acute disorder of cerebral circulation and initially hyperdynamic type of hemodynamics and newly formed hypodynamic type of blood circulation. While patients with acute disorder of cerebral circulation and constantly hyperdynamic type of blood circulation showed the maximal tension in operation of the regulatory systems.

Relevance . Maintaining the health of migrants while adapting to the new climatic and geographical conditions of residence is an urgent task. The impact of non-specific factors on the body of migrants in new climatogeographic conditions leads to the strain of regulatory and adaptive mechanisms, and in extreme cases to their failure. Objective - to determine the features of heart rate variability in young Tajiks, depending on the type of temperament living in Krasnoyarsk for more than a year. Materials and Methods: A study of heart rate variability in 63 Tajiks aged 18-40 years with different types of temperament, living in Krasnoyarsk for more than a year, was conducted. The types of temperament were determined by indices in accordance with the method of identifying VP-types of temperament according to E.Yu. Petrosyan, Yu. I. Savchenkov. The following indicators of heart rate variability (HRV) were evaluated: heart rate, the power of the high-frequency, low-frequency and very low-frequency spectrum (BV, MV-2, MV-1) of the HRV component, the voltage index of regulatory systems (IN), the centralization index (CI) and the activity index of regulatory systems. To assess the statistical significance of the differences between the samples, the Students criteria were used. Results and Discussion. It was revealed that migrants with an intense type of temperament after moving to a new place of residence increased the indicators of heart rate, BV and IN. At the same time, in the studied groups with a calm and adequate type of temperament, the power of BV was significantly reduced, with an increase in heart rate and CI. The conclusion is made about the influence of typological features of temperament on HRV indicators, when adapting to new climatogeographic living conditions. Individuals with an adequate type of temperament demonstrate the normal functioning of the adaptive capabilities of the body. In individuals with the calm type, an increase in the tension of the regulatory mechanisms was revealed. Conclusion . Significant changes in HRV are demonstrated by migrants with an intense type of temperament, in particular, they are characterized by a high voltage of regulatory mechanisms.

Hygienic working conditions and the labor process affect the functional state of the body of workers and reflect in the performance indicators of the cardiovascular system. The study aims to learn the temporal characteristics of heart rate variability in doctors and nursing staff of second-and third-level obstetric institutions. Scientists examined 228 people of higher and secondary medical personnel with the help of the Varikard 2.51 hardware and software complex. In the dynamics of the working shift, we studied the mean square deviation of the cardiac intervals R-R; the square root of the sum of the differences of a sequential series of NN intervals; the voltage index of regulatory systems. We researched the basis of maternity institutions of the second and third levels in some cities of the Central Federal District: Ryazan, Kolomna, Lipetsk, Smolensk. The data obtained during the study of the features of the regulatory potential of medical workers of various professional groups allowed us to understand the influence of factors of the labor process on adaptive resources, estimated by the indicators of the time analysis of heart rate variability (HRV). The researchers obtained statistically significant differences in time indicators of heart rate variability (the mean square deviation of cardiac intervals R-R; the square root of the sum of the differences of a consecutive series of NN intervals; stress index of regulatory systems) in professional groups of obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists, midwives, anesthesiologists, as well as ward nurses of perinatal centers and maternity hospitals in the dynamics of the work shift. It is possible to use the results of the conducted research to develop scientifically based recommendations for the prevention of professionally caused overstrain of adaptive systems of the body.

AbstractThe vagus nerve is the largest autonomic nerve, innervating nearly every organ in the body. “Vagal tone” is a clinical measure believed to indicate overall levels of vagal activity, but is measured indirectly through the heart rate variability (HRV). Abnormal HRV has been associated with many severe conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension. However, vagal tone has never been directly measured, leading to disagreements in its interpretation and influencing the effectiveness of vagal therapies. Using custom carbon nanotube yarn electrodes, we were able to chronically record neural activity from the left cervical vagus in both anesthetized and non-anesthetized rats. Here we show that tonic vagal activity does not correlate with common HRV metrics with or without anesthesia. Although we found that average vagal activity is increased during inspiration compared to expiration, this respiratory-linked signal was not correlated with HRV either. These results represent a clear advance in neural recording technology but also point to the need for a re-interpretation of the link between HRV and “vagal tone”.

Addiction is a devastating disease of the body, the mind, and even the personality. Recent research shows that heart rate variability biofeedback can help the alcoholic/addict recover in three crucial ways, namely (1) treating the associated comorbidities (depression, anxiety, chronic pain), (2) treating the physiology around craving, and (3) returning to a loving and nurturing relationship with one's own body instead of an abusive and exploitive one.

The research was carried out on two independent experimental groups of boys and girls. The first was observed in traffic conditions, the second during the period of auto-simulator training. The HRV indices were determined: HR - heart rate, IN - index of tension of regulatory systems, AMo - amplitude of the mode, LF/HF - index of vagosympathetic interaction. A pronounced sympathetic reaction of more prepared cadets to the training load with the subsequent restoration of the studied characteristics was revealed. Key words: heart rate variability, autonomic regulation, vagosympathetic interaction, driver training, level of preparedness.

An indicators analysis of the first-graders functional state and vegetative homeostasis obtained in the initial period of adaptation to the educational environment revealed gender differences in the rates of the adaptation process to new learning conditions. It has been established that girls’ adaptation mechanisms turn on earlier than boys’, with their similar orientation. The article provides an experimental justification of the indicators use legitimacy for heart rate variability to assess the functional state of the body in the acute period of adaptation to the educational environment. The importance of teacher physiological literacy for the optimization of the educational process is substantiated. The results of the study are convincing evidence of the knowledge importance for the physiological foundations of the occurrence and course of physiological and mental processes, stable individual psycho-physiological characteristics for the organization of the learning environment, corresponding to the functional capabilities of the body. This argument is also confirmed by many years of experience among master students key competencies development, which allow using such an objective criterion as the current functional state of the body to ensure, through the joint efforts of parents, teachers, psychologists, and doctors, the correction of the educational environment and psycho-physiological resistance of individual to it. The established differences in the dynamics of heart rate variability indicators for girls and boys can be used to form a health-saving program in school settings.
