Effect of Meticulous Nursing Combined with Evidence-Based Nursing on Life Quality and Psychological Status of Medical Oncology Patients after Chemotherapy

Objective. The purpose was to study the effect of meticulous nursing combined with evidence-based nursing on life quality and psychological status of medical oncology patients after chemotherapy. Methods. 148 medical oncology patients treated in our hospital (January 2019-December 2019) were chosen as the research objects of this study, and randomly split into control group and experimental group, with 74 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing mode for the diseases while the experimental group received meticulous nursing combined with evidence-based nursing mode to compare and analyze effect of the two nursing models on life quality and psychological status of medical oncology patients after chemotherapy. Results. The incidence of complications, SAS and SDS scores after interventionin experimental group were obviously lower compared with control group (P<0.05). The KPS scores of both groups after chemotherapy were obviously higher than those before chemotherapy, and the KPS score in the experimental group after chemotherapy was obviously higher than that in the control group.The life quality scores in experimental group were obviously higher compared with control group in generally good and good aspects, and obviously lower compared the control group in middle and bad aspects (P<0.05). Conclusion. For medical oncology patients, meticulous nursing combined with evidence-based nursing after chemotherapy can obviously reduce complications, improve life quality and enhance recovery of physical function. Compared with routine nursing mode, this nursing mode pays more attention to the changes of psychological status, which can obviously improve the psychological status, improve their enthusiasm and initiative to cure the diseases, improve their nursing satisfaction and facilitate the harmonious development of doctor-patient relationship.

Objective: The study was to analyze the application effect of informationized teaching method based on evidence-based nursing in surgical nursing teaching. Methods: From December 2019 to December 2020, 60 students were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into two groups, each with 30 students in the teaching group. The observation group applied informationized teaching based on evidence-based nursing method,and the control group used the traditional teaching model. The teaching effect was evaluated. Results: The test scores of subjective theoretical knowledge and objective theoretical knowledge of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the comprehensive ability evaluation of the observation group was also higher (P<0.05). The majority of students accepted the informationized teaching method based on evidence-based nursing, and a few held a neutral or disapproval attitude. Conclusion:  Informationized teaching method based on evidence based nursing can improve students' theoretical and practical levels in surgical nursing teaching, and most students also accept this teaching method, which has application value.

Objective: To explore the clinical significance of strengthening nurse patient communication in oncology department. Methods: The study was carried out in our hospital. Taking 100 patients selected from May 2020 to May 2021 as an example, all patients were cancer patients. When they were treated, they cooperated with nursing, carried out grouping experiments, adopted different nursing methods, and compared and analyzed the recovery of patients under different nursing interventions. Results: There were significant differences in nursing satisfaction and compliance between the experimental group and the control group, expressed as P < 0.05. In contrast, the experimental group had higher satisfaction, better compliance and better effect. Conclusion: Strengthening nurse patient communication in oncology patients is helpful to improve patients’ understanding, improve patients’ bad mood and promote patients’ compliance. It has positive significance and remarkable effect on patients.

Objective: To explore the effect of functional exercise nursing plan based on evidence-based nursing in patients after hip replacement. Methods: A total of 150 patients who underwent hip replacement in the orthopedic second ward of our hospital during the research period from January 2010 to January 2020 were selected as the research object. The random number expression method was applied to achieve grouping of patients. Among them, the control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment; the experimental group guided rehabilitation exercises according to the functional exercise nursing plan after hip replacement, and the rehabilitation conditions of the two groups were compared. Results: Compared with the patients in the control group, the bed time (7.45 ± 2.10) days and average hospital stay (15.84 ± 3.29) of the experimental group were relatively shorter. The incidence of complications in the experimental group and the control group was 6.67% and 16.00%, which are significantly different. The difference in Harris hip score before surgery was small, and the difference when discharge and after discharge was gradually increased, showing a better care effect in the experimental group. There was no significant difference in preoperative quality of life scores between the two groups before surgery (P > 0.05). The life quality of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group at discharge, 1 month after discharge and 3 months after discharge, and showed most significantly after 3 months. Conclusion: The effect of functional exercise nursing plan based on evidence-based nursing in patients after hip replacement is remarkable, which can promote the recovery of patients, improve the quality of life, reduce the hospitalization time, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and has a positive significance in promoting clinical development in China.

Objective: To analyze the effect of applying evidence-based care in rehabilitation nursing effect of patients with patellar fractures. Methods: A total of 54 patients with patellar fractures were randomly selected from the hospital. The diagnosis and treatment time were from the beginning of July 2018 to end of June 2019. The digital table grouping was adopted to divide patients into two groups with each group consists of 27 patients with this disease. Both groups underwent routine nursing and the experimental group with increased evidence-based care. Results: Compared with the control group, the knee function evaluation, complications and nursing satisfaction of the experimental group were more ideal, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Evidence-based care in rehabilitation nursing of patients with patellar fracture can obtain ideal nursing effect.

Background. Being diagnosed with cancer is a dramatically stressful condition for a human. Radiation therapy (RT), which is an essential of combination antineoplastic treatment, can cause physical and emotional state changes. Realizing these changes is an additional stress factor that results in impaired life quality of a cancer patient as well refusal to undergo further treatment. At present, there is no distinct system of providing psychological aid for cancer patients in Ukraine. Purpose. To carry out analysis and generalization of research literature data in terms of providing psychological aid for cancer patients at RT stage and to present own findings of psychological study enrolling 55 female patients diagnosed with endometrial cancer at RT stage at SO «Grigoriev Institute for Medical Radiology and Oncology» within the period from 2015 to 2018. Materials and methods. The literature review involved available contributions obtained via literature search in domestic (Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine) and foreign databases (Scopus, Web of Science Core Collection, PubMed, BMC, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, RNB). Fifty-five patients with endometrial cancer of stage I–II (T1b-c N0 M0 – T2a -b N0 M0) underwent clinical and laboratory examination. The diagnosis of adenocarcinoma was confirmed by means of a histologic study. All patients underwent panhysterectomy and postsurgery course of distant gamma-therapy on “РОКУС-АМ” device by split fractionation. Fifteen patients were provided with psychological correction at RT stage. In order to assess life quality, SF-36 (Health Status Survey) was used. An assessment of the severity of psychosomatic disorders in patients with endometrial cancer was made by means of EORTC QLQ-C30 survey. Results. The paper analyzes psychological aid provided to oncology patients at radiation therapy stage in Ukraine and overseas. It presents the peculiarities of patients’ psychological responses during irradiation and possible consequences of higher mental function impairment. The targets of psychological correction and factors influencing life quality of a patient have been considered as well as the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic interventions outcomes of different approaches has been provided. The study states that, currently, medical and psychological follow-up of cancer patients does not consist only in reassuring talk and drug correcting of their psychological state aimed to reduce distress, anxiety and depression level, but also in psychocorrection, psychoeducation, the access to psychotherapeutic groups, individual psychotherapy. The efficiency of applying own developed schemes of medical and psychological correction of emotional state of women with EC is presented, the use of which has made it possible to reduce the manifestations of sleep disorders, cognitive function and fatigue. Conclusions. Following a differentiated strategy when choosing methods of psychological aid for oncology patients and their families at radiation therapy stage via psychocorrection of emotional, cognitive and behavioral spheres, psychoeducation or psychotherapeutic interventions will make it possible to significantly improve their psychological status and quality of life.

Introduction: Chronic pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience with actual or potential tissue damage, or is described as a damage lasting more than 3 months with heavy or moderate intensity. The patient's response to the pain he experienced was done in different ways such as shouting, grimacing, crying, etc. Repair of pain is likely to occur more quickly when psychological intervention is included in medical care because it requires alternative and complementary treatment to overcome the pain including prayer , humor, hypnosis, and group support. Growing evidence-based nursing practice shows progress in helping patients deal with the pain. One of the evidence-based nursing practices is humor therapy. Method: The literature search was done through searching the results of scientific publications 2010-2018 using several databases, such as Such as Google scholar, PubMed, DOAJ, and Cochran, with keyword "Humor Therapy and Chronic Pain. Result: Obtained 6 fulltext articles, were obtained with various methods used, such as quasi-experimental pre- and posttest control group design, randomized two-group review literature, concluded that humor therapy proved effective in reducing chronic pain in all ages. Conclusion: The humor therapy is effective in reducing chronic pain in patients of all ages, both children, adults and the elderly, besides humor therapy can also be used to increase endurance and quality of life in elderly who are cared for in nursing homes

Background: To explore the application effects of whole course high-quality nursing on patients with liver cancer during radiotherapy. Methods: One hundred and five patients with liver cancer who received radiotherapy in Liaocheng People’s Hospital, Liaocheng, China from March 2010 to February 2012 were selected and divided into a control group (42 cases with routine nursing) and an experimental group (63 cases with whole course high-quality nursing). The two groups of patients were observed and compared in terms of clinical data and the Activity of Daily Living (ADL) score before and after nursing (1 course of treatment/6 week). The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used to evaluate and compare the patients’ anxiety and depression before and after nursing. Adverse reactions during radiotherapy and nursing satisfactory of patients were observed and compared between the two groups. Results: After nursing, the ADL score and the nursing satisfaction in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The SDS and SAS scores in the 2 groups before nursing were significantly higher than those after nursing (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was significantly higher than that in the experimental group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Whole course high-quality nursing can improve the negative emotions, quality of life and nursing satisfaction, and reduce adverse reactions of patients with liver cancer during radiotherapy.

Objective. To explore the clinical efficacy of combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance for gastric cancer patients and nursing strategy. Methods. The clinical data of 100 patients undergoing radical gastrectomy in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected for the retrospective analysis, and the patients were divided into the control group and experimental group according to different treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. Early chemotherapy after surgery was given to patients in the control group, and on the basis of the aforesaid treatment and under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, patients in the experimental group took Zhipu Liujunzi decoction and received the nursing strategy, so as to compare their effective rate, adverse reaction rate (ARR), immune function indicators, KPS scores, and nursing satisfaction scores. Results. After treatment, the experimental group obtained significantly higher objective remission rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) ( P < 0.05 ), lower carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) levels ( P < 0.001 ), higher immune parameters levels ( P < 0.001 ), higher KPS scores and lower TCM symptom scores ( P < 0.001 ), lower PSQI scores, SAS scores, and SDS scores ( P < 0.001 ) and higher nursing satisfaction scores ( P < 0.001 ), and lower total accidence rate of toxic side effects ( P < 0.05 ) than the control group. Conclusion. Under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction is a reliable method for improving the immune function and quality of life for gastric cancer patients with higher safety. Such a strategy greatly reduces the tumor marker levels in patients. Further research will be conducive to establishing a better solution for gastric cancer patients.

Burnout merupakan suatu sindrom psikologis yang menyebabkan gangguan psikologis dan fisiologis yang lebih banyak diderita oleh pekerja sektor pelayanan. Salah satu gangguan yang terjadi adalah munculnya kelelahan emosional. Jika kondisi ini terjadi pada individu dalam jangka waktu yang lama dan terus menerus, maka akan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup penderitanya sehingga berimplikasi pada penurunan kualitas pelayanan dan menghambat produktifitas organisasi. Diperlukan suatu intervensi yang efektif untuk mereduksinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan emotional intelligence dalam mereduksi burnout. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen dengan desain Untreatedpretest-postest control group. Subyek penelitian ini anggota polisi di Polda Banten berjumlah 28 orang (14 orang kelompok eksperien dan 14 orang kelompok kontrol). Analisis data menggunakan metode Independent sample t-test gain score, untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol anatara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil Independent sample t-test gain score,(t =-2.281;p 0.036), (p kurang dari 0.05) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Abstract: Burnout is a psychological syndrome that leads to both psychological and physiological disturbance which is most likely suffered by the workers in the service sector. One of the example, which appeared is emotional exhaustion. If the condition occurred on individuals for a long time and continuously, it will affect the reduction of sufferer life quality and in consequence, results in the digression of service quality and organization productivity. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of emotional intelligence training in reducing burnout. The method of this research was by conducting an experiment by the design of the untreated pretest-postest control group. The subjects of the research were members of policemen at Banten Regional Police as much as 28 people (14 people in the experimental group and 14 people in the control group). Data analysis was using independent sample t-test gain score methods, to know the influence of the training towards both experimental group and control group, before and after it applied. The results of the hypothesis testing of the study showed the value of independent sample t-test gain score resulted (t= -2.281; p 0.036), (p less than 0.05) means there is a significant difference between the experimental group and control group.

Abstract Background Vitiligo has a significant effect on patients’ quality of life; they feel stigmatized and disturbed by their condition. A lot of vitiligo patients, according to reports, suffer from psychological disturbances. The aim of the study is to find the relation between vitiligo and stress, anxiety, and depression and to measure how vitiligo affects the quality of life index. This study included 50 vitiligo patients and 50 matched healthy control groups. All patients were assessed by the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) to determine the severity of anxiety, depression, and stress symptoms and the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) scale to evaluate their quality of life while the control group underwent only the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale. Results The prevalence of stress was 76% (n=38), anxiety was 78% (n=39), and depression was 80% (n=40); the difference was statistically significant between patient group and control group regarding stress, anxiety, and depression. Gender had a significant relationship with stress, anxiety, and depression (p < 0.05) (female affected more than male). Also, there was a statistically significant relation between the degree of vitiligo and anxiety (p < 0.05). Vitiligo has a moderate to very severe effect on the quality of life index. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between stress and feeling of embarrassment from vitiligo and clothes choice. Conclusion Vitiligo is a psychcutaneous disease that does not only affect the patient’s physical status, but also his mental and psychological status.
