The article presents the results of studying the morphological state of three populations of Delphinium pubiflorum on the basis of quantitative traits measured over four years during the period of mass flowering of plants. The greatest difference in quantitative characteristics was shown by the populations from the Krasnoarmeisky and Tatishchevsky districts of the Saratov region. The differences between the populations are mainly associated with the overall size of the leaves and the quantitative indicators of the axial structure, in particular the length of the generative shoot, as well as the generative sphere – the length of the inflorescence and the number of flowers associated with the latter. In the field, with a visual assessment of the state of the populations, it was noted that plants in the best condition, were those from the Tatishchevsky district. As for the population from the Krasnoarmeisky district, the state of its individuals was the worst.

The purpose of this work is to establish and determine, on the basis of a systematic analysis, the factors influencing the state of food security of the Russian Federation, the problems of legal support of national priorities related to food independence. Qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the current state of food security in the Russian Federation are closely related to the criteria for the development of the socio-economic system of the state. An important condition for the effective implementation of national priorities is the normative regulation of the toolkit of state management impact on the threats and risks of food independence. To understand the essence of these problems and minimize their consequences, the authors substantiate the need to study the indicated problem within the framework of the concept of legal dementia. Legal dementia is a state of compliance by subjects of law with the provisions of the law, which is characterized by non-fulfillment to one degree or another by state bodies not only of their functions, but also by the inability to respond, due to a low level of competence and professionalism, to factors that weaken the effectiveness of legal guarantees.

This article analyzes the problem of the state of the water bodies in Ishim by anthropogenic pressures. The study shows that the water reservoirs are negatively influenced by the economic activities of the population. The author defines their main directions: industrial wastewater discharge to the city water bodies, construction and operation of engineering constructions, activity in the private sector. To assess the state of the water bodies the author uses the results of the visual assessment of the state of the riverbeds and their coastal zone, the organoleptic water indicators (turbidity, color and smell), the analysis of the hydrobiological studies (determination of the degree of saprobity of the water bodies as indicators ciliated infusoria). The study showed the satisfactory condition of all the water reservoirs and the non-critical impact. As the enterprises for light manufacturing and food industries in Ishim are not sources of chemical, organic and other pollution the visual assessment didn't reveal significant deformations of the riverbeds and any changes in the coastal zone. The impact of the private sector is local and not the significant cause of organic pollution.

The impact of temperature and light/dark cycle on morphological traits of Platytrombidium fasciatum was examined in larvae obtained from field-collected females. The eggs laid by 65 females at laboratory conditions were assigned to four experimental groups. Varied thermal conditions affected the values of nine out of 46 (nonparametric MANOVA) and 26 out of 37 (LDA) morphometric traits in larvae. As many as six quantitative traits differed significantly irrespective of the method (MANOVA, LDA) applied. The analysis of the metric traits within the dorsal sclerites revealed that the lower mean temperature over the period of egg incubation, translated into longer duration of development, was associated with an increase in distance between the bases of 3rd pair of non-sensillary setae on scutum at the decrease in distance between the bases of 2nd pair of non-sensillary setae as well as in distance between the level of sensilla and the posterior edge of the sclerite. In the case of 40 measurable traits in larvae of P. fasciatum, the variability going beyond the hitherto knowledge on the species was observed.

In the conditions of the south of the Nonchernozem Zone, intraspecific hybridization of winter soft wheat was carried out. When selecting parental forms used in crossing, special attention was paid to such economically valuable traits as productive tilling capacity, the number of grains and the mass of grain per spike. The true (Htru) and hypothetical heterosis (Hhyp) on the basis of “plant height”, “length of the lower internode”, “length of the upper internode”, “general tilling capacity”, “productive tilling capacity”, “spike length”, “number of spikelets”, “number of grains” and “grain weight per spike” were determined. It was established that the inheritance of quantitative traits in hybrids of the first generation was distinguished by the complex nature of distribution by types. Studies have made possible to identify 5 hybrid combinations F1, in which the effect of heterosis manifests itself simultaneously on five quantitative characteristics (ear length, number of spikelets per ear, number of grains per ear, grain weight per ear, mass grain from a plant).

Article justify the need for a systematic approach to the formation of uniform requirements for the volume and level of construction supervision carried out in the conversion of industrial facilities. Author determines the factors that affect the safety, is the quantitative characteristics of various types of control measures carried out by specialists of state construction supervision both at the facility and in the office. As a hypothesis, author considers the possibility of forming a single deterministic system that provides objective supervision during the conversion and does not create an excessive burden for both the state and the developer. As a result, the existing legislation in the field of state construction supervision is incomplete and partly contradictory. In this article the necessity of formation of scientifically grounded hierarchical organizational and technological system of construction supervision is defined.

The article deals with the methodology of the assessment of the state of the external facade of the outer cladding façade from the fiber cementitious boards in view of meeting the conditions of the technical legislation valid in the Czech Republic. On a particular case, the methodology of the procedure from the visual assessment of the facade facing plates to the requirements of their mechanical and physical properties is described. The object under consideration is a civic building in a climatically challenging location in the Beskydy foothills, whose facade is completely lined with fiber-cement boards. The assessment is based on the provisions of ČSN ISO 13822 (73 0038): Design principles for structures - Evaluation exists. construction and ČSN P 74 7251: 2015 Folded cladding, tiles and panel cladding - Requirements for casting accuracy, quality and appearance. For the assessment of mechanical and physical properties, the provisions of ČSN EN 12467 - Fiber-cement flat plates - Specimen specification and test method are used. Limit values of individual parameters are taken into account in the technical sheets of the manufacturer of fiber-cement boards.

AbstractThe karyological and morphological variability of species from the genus Dysphania were studied. The results demonstrated that genus Dysphania is represented in Bulgaria by five species: Dysphania ambrosioides, D. multifida, D. botrys, D. schraderiana and D. pumilio. The first two species are tetraploids with chromosome number 2n = 32 for D. ambrosioides and 2n = 36 for D. multifida. The remaining three species are diploids with 2n = 18. The results from statistical analysis demonstrated that the main source of phenotype variation in the species is the interpopulation variation. The specific characters which allowed their recognition are themorphological characteristics of the perianth lobes, the upper leaves and the seeds. The distinction between D. multifida, D. ambrosioides and D. schraderiana is based on differences in the quantitative traits, while in D. botrys and D. pumilio qualitative traits are also important. The basic evolutionary mechanisms are polyploidy and diploidy.Atendency towards reduction in the size of generative organs and the number of perianth lobes was found.

This article comprises a discourse analysis of The Times’ (the British daily newspaper) coverage of Israeli deployment of white phosphorous during the first Gaza war. It argues that this issue is of special theoretical importance as it demonstrates a rare instance of a medium that is considered supportive of an agent (i.e. the state of Israel) offering apparently substantial criticism of that particular agent. The article progresses by uncovering layers of the newspaper’s coverage. It starts by introducing some quantitative characteristics, then moves on to analysis proper – explicit arguments and implicit meaning in editorials. In doing this, the author argues that an understanding of the discourse around criticism and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict needs to account not just for overt arguments but implicit meanings which, consciously or not, are sustaining those arguments.
