Emotion-Focused Coping Strategies As Predictors of New Inmates’ Adjustment in the Pandemic Era

This study aims to (1) find out the emotion-focused coping strategies used by the new inmates in the Class IIA Female Correctional Facility of Malang City, (2) understand the illustration of new inmates’ adjustment, (3) find out whether emotion-focused coping is a predictor of new inmates’ adjustment. This study employs predictive- quantitative research with descriptive analysis and applies simple linear regression on the population of new inmates at the Class IIA Female Correctional Facility of Malang City. The study uses the one-shot tryout technique. The subjects were selected using a saturated sample of 118 respondents. The instruments used were the adaptation of the Prison Adjustment Questionnaire (PAQ) and the adaptation of the Ways of Coping Scale (WCQ). The descriptive analysis uses categorization based on the T value, while hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression analysis techniques. This study resulted in an accepted hypothesis with a significance value of 0.014, an R value of 0.336, and an R square value of 0.181, which indicated that emotion-focused coping contributed to the emergence of self-adjustment by 18.1%. The use of emotion- focused coping can be used to develop self-adjustment for inmates in correctional environments, in addition to the emotion-focused coping that successfully applied can increase the self-esteem and capacity of inmates to overcome their problems in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mining company production on the economic conditions of the community and how the population growth of Koeono Village and Watudemba Village (Mine Circle). The method of determining the sample in this study is Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used to determine the growth rate of the economic condition of the community is carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis, while to determine the effect of nickel mining company production on economic conditions simple linear regression analysis is used. The results of the research on the economic conditions of the people of Koeono Village and Watudemba Village (Mine Circle) and simple linear regression revealed that nickel mining production had no effect on aspects of community income opportunities, employment opportunities, business opportunities, health, education and lifestyle because the value was far larger than the probability value where the probability value used is 0.05.

In an effort to achieve a success, then the satisfaction of organizational communication is a very important factor, it ‘caused communication satisfaction is the result of a number of processes that are internal and external.Employees is one of the most important assets who participate in helping in the achievement effortof organizational goals that is realization of the vision and mission of the organization. Therefore, good cooperation between the organization and all employees are indispensable so that common goals can be realized. This research aims to find the influence of communication organizational satisfaction to employees performance in Secretariat Legislature Singkawang city. This research uses quantitative research, the method used in this research is survey method. In this research, researcher used a questionnaire as the data collection technique. Sample in this study is all civil servants in Secretariat Legislature Singkawang city numbered as many as 35 people. Data analysis techniques used in this study is simple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of simple linear regression test, obtained constant values from the regression variable employees performance that is equal 26,603. While the regression coefficient of the variable communication organization satisfaction is positive that is equal 0,462. This means that the variable communication organization satisfaction have a positive influence on variable employees performance that is equal 0,462. Based on t-test result, obtained t value of 3,874, greater than the table value of 2,034. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0rejected. This mean that the amount of significant influence among the variables communication organization satisfaction to employees performance of 31,3% while the rest 68,7% influenced by other variable.

Culinary business from every new is always increasing, has always been the highest compared with other types of business. Based on data from the print media, Bandung is designated as an Indonesian culinary destination because it contributes greatly to the state revenue. However, there are problems that often occur especially in the culinary field, one of which is from human resources. This study was conducted to determine the effect of human resources viewed from emotional intelligence to employee performance. The method used is descriptive analysis to obtain the results of emotional intelligence is in the high category and employee performance is also in the high category. The result of simple linear regression analysis obtained equation Y = 13.060 + 0.420X, with R Square of 0.599 means there is contribution between emotional intelligence to employee performance equal to 59.9%.

The study aims to knowed influence of bank image and promotion on gamling gendis manis to farming dicision to saving in Lumajang Branch office of BRI. Either partially of simultaneously. This research is quantitative research to find the associative relationship that are causal or the research to ask the question the relations between two or more variable and cause effect relation. The study aims to find evidence of the influence of bank image and promotion on saving decisions of Lumajang Barnch Office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia either partially or simultaneously. This study tested the hypothesis that there is a bank image effect on the saving decisions, there is promotion on saing decisions, and there is the influence of bank image and promotion to work simultaneously on the performance of employees at the National Narcotics Agency office Lumajang. The study, of 45 respondents using multiple linear regression analysis is the bank image there is an influence on saving decisions, there is work promotion on saving decisions, and there is the influence of bank image and promotion to work simultaneously on the decisions of saving at the Lumajang Barnch Office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia. Simple linear regression function generated is Y= 4,096 + 0,345X1 + 0,183X2. The coefficient of determination showed that 53,5 of saving decisions can be explained by the bank image and promotion t, while the remaining 46,5% of saving decisions is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

The purpose of the research is identifying the influence of financial mindset and entrepreneurial mindset to personal finance. This is a quantitative research with descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The research’s respondents are eighty one (81) students of Faculty of Economics, Universitas Persatuan Guru 1945 NTT. The sampling technique is random sampling with questionnaire as data collection method. The research instrument for financial mindset is adopted from “OTM The Knew Rules of Building Wealth (CNBC)’ by Rhodes (2010) and the entrepreneurship mindset’s instrument is adopted from ‘Building E-Businesses series and Personal finance’ by Spinela, Yang & Laster (2007). The results imply that both financial mindset and entrepreneurial mindset have significant and simultaneous influence to personal finance.

The Difference

Career development that makes others give different views such as appreciation, recognition, appreciation and higher social status in the eyes of society. This is what makes a person want to develop. But they are confronted with the reality that makes it negative. Require success or goals to be achieved and make someone doubt the ability required to fear success. This study aims to determine the effect of fear of success on career development and interaction on achievement motivation and fear of success on career development. This type of research is quantitative with associative research. The population in this study are companies that work at PT. PLN (Persero) Bulukumba Area. The technique of taking samples uses the saturated sample method. The sample in this study was 70 respondents. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis and moderation regression analysis by obtaining approved difference values. The results of research with simple linear regression show a fear of positive and significant success in career development. Analysis of moderating variables with the difference in assessment proves achievement motivation is not able to moderate the fear of success in career development.

This study aims to determine the effect of welfare benefits toward employee performance at PT. Bank Panin, Tbk in Makassar City. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees at PT Bank Panin, Tbk in Makassar City, of 228 people. Then the sample is the author takes 20 percent of the population, of 46 people. Data collection methods are carried out by observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis for hypothesis testing. The results showed that providing welfare benefits to employees had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank Panin, Tbk in Makassar City.

This research was conducted in Kalikajar Sub District Wonosobo Regency. The purpose of this research were to understand how far the role of farmer group in the application of SRI (System of Rice Intensification), influencing the factors in the role of farmer group in SRI application, and to understand the influence of the farmer group’s role in the SRI application in Kalikajar Sub Wonosobo Regency. The method were used in this research was descriptive analysis. The data were analyzed by proportion test, multiple linear regression analysis and simple linear regression analysis.The result of this research showed that more than 50% at sample evaluated that using rates the role of farmer group in high category. Farmer’s attitude and the role of extension agents positively affected to the role of farmer group in SRI application. The farmer’s level of education, land scale, farmer’s experience, frequence of the attendance, and the role of farmer group’s leader have no affect in the role of farmer group in SRI application. The role of farmer group as learning media, cooperation media, and production unit has positively affected to SRI application in Kalikajar Sub District Wonosobo Regency which means the application of SRI increased as the increased of the role farmer group.

The title of this study is the Effect of Student Reading Literacy Level on Learning Effectiveness (Survey on Introduction of Accounting Class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung academic year 2021-2022). This research aims to (i) find out the level of student read literacy in Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung (ii) to know the level of learning effectiveness Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung (iii) knowing the magnitude of the influence of students' reading literacy levels on the effectiveness of learning in Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung. In this study the authors used quantitative approach methods using survey research methods, with a population of 30. To seek influence, The data analysis used is a simple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 24.0,descriptive analysis ofreading literacy level with a weight of 37.97 and an average value of 3.80, and theeffectiveness of learning with a sum weight of 40.03 and an average value of 4.00, on a simple linear regression test there is a regression coefficient value obtained is 0.580, and the determination coefficient valueis obtained the number R (correlation coefficient) or the relationship number between variable X to variable Y of 0.557 or 55.7%. The amount of contribution made by the variable level of reading literacy can be seen from the number in R Square which is 0.310 which means that the level of reading literacy affects the effectiveness of learning by 31.0%. While the other 69.0% was influenced by other factors outside of the research conducted.

This study aims to determine the effect of Sharia Compliance (SC) on the performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This type of research is a descriptive verification study, with the method of collecting secondary data obtained from annual reports or annual reports published by Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) for the 2014-2018 period. Sampling was using by purposive sampling. The number of samples used was 11 BUS in Indonesia with five study periods, so that 55 observant data were obtained. The statistical analysis used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis, preceded by a normality test and a linearity test, then a regression test using the F test and t test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the study using simple linear regression showed that SC has a positive effect on Sharia banking performance in Indonesia. This means that the higher the SC level, the BUS performance level will also increase.
