Abstract: Exposure to cold temperature causes human body to maintain a fixed normal body temperature, enabling it to adapt to changes in the environment. Blood pressure is the pressure of blood pumped by the heart against the artery walls. Cold temperature of working environment might be a factor effecting blood pressure changes. This study was aimed to obtain the relationship between the exposure of cold temperature and the changes in blood pressure before and after working. This was an analytical experimental study conducted in October to November 2017 at Big Fish and Bakso Mutiara restaurants Manado. The Paired t-test on the relationship between systolic blood pressure before and after working showed a P value of 0.000, meanwhile on the relationship between diastolic blood pressure before and after working showed a P value of 0.000. Conclusion: There was a relationship between the exposure of cold temperature and the changes in blood pressure before and after workingKeywords: cold temperature, blood pressure Abstrak: Paparan suhu dingin menyebabkan tubuh manusia selalu mempertahankan suhu tubuh tetap normal sehingga dapat beradaptasi dengan perubahan lingkungan sekitar. The research variables were measured through questionnaires using The Quality of Nursing Work Life Scale (Beth A, 2001) for the quality of nurse’s work life and Index Of Work Satisfaction (Stamp, 1997) for nurse’s job satisfaction, while spirituality used self-developed questionnaires 16 item statement and has been declared valid and reliable. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling of 109 people. Data analysis was by using parametric test person product moment.Result: The result of stastitic test got p value of spirituality 0.193 and quality of work life 0.04. Which means there is no significant relationship between the nurse's spirituality with the nurse's job satisfaction but has a positive relationship direction. While there is a significant relationship quality of work life with job satisfaction of nurse, patterned positive. Conclusion: The need for spirituality still needs to be improved because it becomes an important aspect in the nursing process that is not only for the same nurse but also for the client. In addition, the quality of work life of the nurse must be maintained and enhanced again. The working practice of the engineering students is part of the learning process that is irreducible and indispensable. The composition of  lecturing between theoretical and practical one is 40% to 60%. With this condition, the students spend more time at the laboratory. Generally, the students perform in the laboratory work by standing position. The design of research is observational cross-sectional. The method applied is observation, interview and measuring. The subjects of research are practicing students amounting to 21 students. Referring to the analysis of statistical test or Wilcoxon signed ranks test, the difference of effect of work position is significant, namely p < 0.05 towards musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) before and after working. The quantity of the average complaint after working is score 44.62 ± 9.47. The result of Wilcoxon signed rank test shows that there is significant different effects of standing work position, namely p < 0.05 towards fatigue generally before and after working. The degree of the working pulse is on the average of 110.78  ± 17.80 bpm (beats per minutes) which can be categorized into the medium workload. Using paired t-test, the result is p < 0.05.

The present study attempts to establish the association between Quality of Work Life (QWL) and job satisfaction among the veterinary doctors of Punjab. Multiple linear regression analysis has been employed to examine how far the factors of QWL identified with the help of factor analysis affect the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a dependent variable and factors, Monetary Consideration, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work, Pride in Job, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Nature of Job, Security and Safety, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Space and Infrastructure, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting are independent variables. The results of the present study reveal strong association of Monetary Consideration, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Security and Safety, Nature of Job, and Space and Infrastructure with job satisfaction. The eight variables which were not found significant include, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work , Pride in Job, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting. The present study conducted on veterinarians working under department of animal husbandry, Punjab can make a niche in this area. The friction and wear characteristics of spike-tooth material (65Mn steel) of Spike-Tooth Harrow in a two-stage peanut harvester were studied in this paper. The friction and wear tests of pin and disc on 65 manganese steel were carried out on the tribometer, then the wear loss and the friction coefficient were studied. The wear loss of the pin was acquired by calculating the mass of the pin before and after the experiment using an electronic balance. According to the actual working environment of peanut spring-finger, four variable parameters are set up: load, speed, soil moisture and soil type. The friction and wear characteristics of pins were studied under different loads, speeds and different soil environments. After wearing, the worn surface of the material was observed by scanning microscope and the wear mechanism was studied. The experimental results show that the wear of the pin increases with the increase of load and decreases with the increase of rotational speed in the same rotation number. Especially in the case of the sandy soil with 20% in moisture, a maximum wear loss of the pin is achieved.
