Purpose of the study: This study was designed to assess the role of interpersonal and Informational Justice in the purview of teaching faculty’s job satisfaction.  Methodology: A cross-sectional and quantitative research method was carried out in three randomly selected universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan i.e. Bacha Khan University, University of Malakand, and the University of Swat. A well-structured questionnaire was used for data collection from 217 sampled respondents (employees) for primary data collection. Further, the researchers analyzed the data through descriptive and inferential statistics, i.e. frequency, percentage, correlation, and indexation of the study variables, namely dependent (job satisfaction) and independent (Interpersonal and Informational Justice), respectively. Principal Findings: Regarding the demographic sketch of the sampled respondents, the study found that the majority of the respondents were male, having the age group from 31-40 years with the collaboration of 5-10 year experiences of teaching at the university level. Further, as per the correlation test statistics at bivariate analysis between the Interpersonal and Informational Justice with job satisfaction was found significant with strong correlation (P≤0.05; 0.860) respectively. Applications of this study: The government and administration should take positive steps to provide a good working environment to establish their trust by expanding cooperation towards employees, exploration of benefits, strengthening relationships with each other, and encouragement of open communication that can stimulate and encourage an exchange of view between faculty and administration was put forward some of the recommendations in light of the study findings.  Novelty/Originality of this study: This research comes under the domain of Sociology of organization and sociology of work through the perceptional-based endeavor.

Abstract Turnover among teaching staff in our universities are mostly due to dissatisfaction with their jobs. Employee job satisfaction is of utmost importance to stimulating and sustaining the interest of the individual in order to prevent employee turnover. There are many factors influencing employee job satisfaction and preventing employee turnover. Factors such as salary, working conditions, cordial relationship with colleagues at work, opportunities for job progression among several other factors. The objective of this paper was to explore the extent to which these factors, affect employee job satisfaction and prevent turnover among lecturers in the University for Development Studies using the cross-sectional design and quantitative approach of data collection. Survey questionnaires were employed as data collection instruments to elicit information from 287 lecturers recruited from the University for Development Studies within the Tamale Metropolis. Multiple regression was used to establish the effect factors influencing job satisfaction had on employee turnover. Major findings from the study alluded to the fact that salary, working conditions, working environments, carrier advancement, relationship with co-workers have significant correlation with job satisfaction and employee turnover of lecturers in this institution. On account of these findings, this paper suggests yearly salary adjustments, creates a conducive working environment for lecturers, improve upon infrastructural facilities and facilitates carrier advancement issues for lecturers so as to prevent them from exiting the institution.

Purpose: Whistleblowing is an important factor in preventing corruption and fraud in organizations. There is a law to promote whistleblowing practices, but the negative subsequent effect of whistleblowing demotivates the reporting of unethical behaviours. Thus, it is important to identify the factors that motivate an employee to exercise whistleblowing in an organization. Therefore, this study aims to examine whether the personal factor of job satisfaction and organizational factors such as fair treatment as well as cooperativeness contribute to the whistleblowing practice in an organization.Design/methodology/approach: This study collected primary data based on a questionnaire survey from 73 respondents of the seven top most GLCs in Malaysia. The data are analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and cross-sectional regression.Findings: The findings of the study reveal that only fair treatment is statistically significant and positively related to the whistleblowing practice. The findings imply that if employees perceive that the organization provides fair treatment in terms of career advancement, awards, training, performance appraisal, job assignment, and pay increases, they would tend to report wrongdoing activities to protect the image of the organization.Practical implications: The findings of the study will help the policy makers to ensure better working environment and accountability in the public sector of Malaysia and other similar countries.Originality/value: This is an original study based on primary data to examine the current practices of whistleblowing and its relationship with the practices of job satisfaction, fair treatment, and cooperativeness in the government linked companies of Malaysia.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease that always increases and spreads widely. South Tangerang City is the highest city with several 417 cases in 2019. The role of the community is needed to break the chain of transmission using vector control through Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) activities. Activities such as eradicating mosquito eggs and larvae using 3M plus. This study was conducted to determine the factors related to the behavior of Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) in the Community in the Rawabuntu. The method of research is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design, univariate and bivariate analysis, primary data collection by filling out questionnaires using the PPS technique, and then by purposive sampling with an amount of 150 respondents. The result of the chi-square research shows that there is no correlation between knowledge and PSN behavior with a p-value (0,132), there is no correlation between attitudes and PSN behavior with a p-value (0,757), there is a correlation between information availability and PSN behavior with a p-value ( 0,001), there is a correlation between the role of health workers with PSN behavior with p-value (0,011). The result of this study there is no correlation between knowledge and attitudes with PSN behavior, but there is a correlation between the availability of information and the role of health workers with behavior (PSN). It is expected that health workers will provide information and monitor community activities to carry out PSN activities and for the community to make efforts to increase knowledge and attitude regarding PSN by conducting 3M plus regularly to prevent dengue fever.

Adolescent is a transition period or transition from childhood to adulthood marked by physical, psychological and psychosocial changes. The type of this study used method of Analytic Survey with Cross Sectional design was to determine relationship between risk factors with effects, by way of approach, observation or data collection at once at a time or at the same time Data collection in this studyused primary data by looking at distributing questionnaires to students who were sampled. Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of this study were: 34 respondents (49.3%) of respondents had bad pre-marital sex behavior, 39 respondents (56.5%) of respondents had less knowledge, 47 respondents (68.1%) had unfovaroble attitude, 43 respondents (62,3%) of respondents have an unfavorable environment,  there was a relationship between adolescent knowledge withpre-marriage sexual behavior (strong category, there was a relationship between adolescent attitudes with pre-marriage sex behavior (medium category). and there was relationship between adolescent environment with pre-marriage sex behavior in SMAN 7 South Bengkulu Regency. The results of this study were expected to provide an overview of factors that affect pre-marriage sex behavior in adolescents in high school. Keywords : Attitude, environment, knowledge, pre-marriage sex behavior

In Western countries, one of the main barriers to entomophagy is repulsion toward insects. Few studies have investigated the factors that influence attitudes toward entomophagy. Therefore, we conducted a cross-sectional study involving a sample of 248 university students, focusing on disgust and other potential attributes that can influence insect consumption, including health literacy. We used a 17-item self-administered questionnaire. Consistent with the literature, two items were chosen as outcome variables to evaluate the predictors of the propensity to consume insects: “Have you ever eaten insects or insect-based products?” and “How disgusting do you find eating insects?” The data analysis shows that having already eaten insects is inversely associated with the level of disgust (OR: 0.1, p < 0.01); and it is positively associated with higher levels of health literacy (OR: 3.66, p > 0.01). Additionally, having some knowledge and information about entomophagy is inversely associated with a higher level of disgust (OR: 0.44, p = 0.03 and OR: 0.25, p = 0.03, respectively), while being female is positively associated with disgust (OR: 3.26, p < 0.01). Our results suggest the potential role of health literacy, in addition to other factors, in influencing the willingness to taste insects. However, further studies involving larger and non-convenience samples are needed to confirm our hypothesis.

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the mental health of employees. Deterioration of the well-being of workers is also caused by changes in the working environment. Remote working can affect both social interactions and job satisfaction. The purpose of the study is to examine what factors influence job satisfaction in the context of remote work caused by a pandemic. The study analyses whether employee relations and interpersonal trust are related to the level of perceived job satisfaction. The investigation started with a literature review and then research hypotheses have been formulated. Based on an empirical study, carried out on a sample of 220 IT employees during the pandemic, an analysis of the mediating role of trust in links between employee relations and perceived job satisfaction was conducted. The current study found that positive employee relations contribute to the level of job satisfaction. Additionally, trust is an important factor that mediates these relationships. Based on the results of the research, it was possible to describe the mechanism of shaping a supportive work environment during a pandemic.

The study was conducted with 02 objectives to describe and analyze some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs working at Dong Thap General Hospital in 2017. The research design is cross-sectional, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Research results show that, the motivation average score of office and support staffs with the general motivation; burnout; job satisfaction; intrinsic job satisfaction; organizational commitment; conscientiousness; timeliness and attendance oscillate from 2.91 to 3.5. The motivation average score of office and support staffs with burnout is lowest and the motivation average score of office and support staffs with conscientiousness is highest. Some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs are income policies; training opportunities; satisfaction of colleagues and managers; working environment; equipment and facilities. The research results provide evidence to help the Board of Directors to develop solutions to improve the motivation of office and support staffs in the future. The aim of this study was to establish the role of organizational design in the organizational ambidexterity - performance relationship among large manufacturing firms (LMFs) in Kenya. The studies linking ambidexterity to organizational performance are few and with mixed findings. The few studies indicate that there is no clear ambidexterity - organizational performance relationship. The research was founded on dynamic capabilities and configurations theories. Based on the reviewed literature, a conceptual model and hypotheses were formulated. The study was guided by positivist philosophy. The population of the research was the entire 107 Kenyan large manufacturing firms (LMFs). Cross-sectional research design was used. Primary data in respect of predictor variables was used and was collected using a structured questionnaire. The respondents were the senior managers of the large manufacturing firms (LMFs) in Kenya; namely Chief Executive Officers/Managing Directors (CEOs/MDs) or General Managers (GMs), or Heads of departments (HODs). Descriptive statistics, correlations, linear, multiple and hierarchical regressions were applied in the data scrutiny and interpretation. The study results showed partial organizational design mediating role in the organizational ambidexterity - performance association of LMFs in Kenya. The study findings are useful to practitioners and managers of LMFs, policymakers in government as well as scholars and researchers. The study recommends further studies on the mediating role of organizational design, different variable operationalization, diversify respondents and context as well as longitudinal study.

Background: Basic immunization is the first immunization that should be given to everyone, especially infants and children from birth to protect lifes from dangerous diseases. The immunization program in Indonesia requires every infant (0-11 months) to receive complete basic immunization consist of 1 dose of Hepatitis B, 1 dose of BCG, 3 doses of DPT-HB-Hib, 4 doses of polio, and 1 dose of measles. Basic Immunization in RW 8 Wonokusumo Urban Village in 2017 has not reached the target. Only 73 infants (67%) of 108 have received complete basic immunization which the target of Puskesmas is 95%. This study aims to know the correlation of knowledge, attitude and mother perception with the basic immunization status in Wonokusumo. This study is an observational analytic research with quantitative approach. The study was cross sectional with a sample of 39 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Respondents in this study are mothers who have children under three and have KMS in RW 8 Wonokusumo Urban Village. Primary data collection techniques obtained from questionnaires while secondary data obtained from Wonokusumo Puskesmas and Surabaya City Health Office reports .The result of bivariate statistic test shows that there is correlation between knowledge, attitude, and mother perception with the immunization status of children under three with p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Conclusion: There is correlation between knowledge, attitude, and mother perception with the basic immunization status in RW 8, Wonokusumo Village.
