<p>This paper tries to demonstrate that virtual communities or social media influence the decision to buy tourism products. Specifically, we show that smartphone bookings made by business tourists coming to Barcelona are increasingly popular. The methodology used is first a comprehensive literature review on the topic, media and social networks as a means of tourism promotion and product recommendation. Then, the article goes on with quantitative method that converts the object of study into numerical data, with emphasis on the measurable objective and, therefore, requiring the use of statistics  For this study we decided to devise a quantitative questionnaire which is usually the method of data collection by most usual research using this type of method. The multiple choice is an instrument for obtaining data and it is used to gather the information needed: facts, opinions, trends. Data collection was carried out for 4 months (May, June, July and August 2015) with n=1512. We conducted a sieve with inclusion and exclusion criteria and which discarded all participants who did not travel for business. The final sample was 494 participants. We conclude that Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Foursquare social media are the media used by young people and where gender does not influence their use. However, the degree of use of Google+, Linkedin, TripAdvisor and Booking have no significant relationship, taking into account such variables as age and gender.</p><p> </p><p>Keywords: smartphones, emprical, business</p>

Abstract Digital methods are a way to engage marginalized populations, such as sexual and gender minority (SGM) adults. No study to date has leveraged these methods to engage SGM caregivers of people with dementia. We used digital methods to access SGM caregivers of people with dementia in our study of psychosocial measures of caregiving for recruitment and data collection. Posts on social media and online registries targeted SGM caregivers. The study landing page received 2201 views; 285 caregivers completed the survey. Participants learned of the study most frequently from Facebook (45%). The sample was 84% white, with gay (52%), lesbian (32%), bisexual (11%), and other sexual orientations (5%) and transgender (17%) caregivers represented. While we exceeded goals for inclusion of Latinx (26%) and Native American (4%) caregivers, the number of African American SGM caregivers was lower than projected (7%). Digital methods are effective for engaging SGM caregivers of people with dementia.

Pesan dakwah dapat disampaikan melalui media termasuk instagram. Trend  tersebut memiliki dua sisi seperti pisau bermata ganda (tantangan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyajian pesan dakwah dalam media sosial instagram. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui bentuk penyajian pesan dakwah dalam instagram dan mencari tahu kelebihan dan kekurangan penyajian pesan dakwah dalam media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya, melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari dua puluh unggahan yang diteliti, terdapat tiga unggahan yang termasuk bentuk penyajian pesan dakwah informatif, empatbelas unggahan yang termasuk persuasif, dan tiga unggahan yang termasuk koersif. Kelebihan penyajian pesan dakwah pada akun instagram ini ialah menyampaikan pesan dalam bahasa singkat dan mudah dipahami pembaca. Dan kekurangannya, yaitu penjelasan yang kurang lengkap dan singkat. Kelebihan dan kekurangannya ini juga memberikan dampak pada pemahaman  pembacanya. Da'wah messages can be conveyed through the media including Instagram. The trend has two sides like a double-edged knife (a challenge). This study aims to determine the presentation of preaching messages on social media Instagram. The purpose of this study is to find out the form of preaching messages on Instagram and find out the advantages and disadvantages of preaching messages in social media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques, through observation and documentation. The results showed that of the twenty uploads examined, there were three uploads that included informative preaching messages, fourteen uploads that were persuasive, and three uploads which were coercive. The advantage of presenting da'wah messages on this Instagram account is that it conveys messages in short and easily understood language. And the shortcomings, namely an incomplete and concise explanation. These strengths and weaknesses also have an impact on the reader's understanding.

Introduction. This article discusses the existence of social media YouTube, Instagram and Watsapp in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic among virtual communities in Indonesia. The development of social media is increasing every year, especially in the conditions of the corona virus outbreak. The development of social media in Indonesia has experienced a very significant increase, it can be seen that Indonesia is in the 3rd position of social media users in the world. Data Collection Method. The method used in this article is by using the literature method by reading literature related to discussion and it can be analyzed that the existence of social media such as YouTube in the midst of the Covid pandemic has experienced a surge in users of around 88% and is then followed by Whatsapp social media with the number of accesses of 84% and Instagram with 79%. Results and Discussions. Based on the data above, we can see the development and level of existence of several social media which is frequently accessed by the world's population during the Covid 19 pandemic. This development has certainly experienced a very clear penetration of internet users among the Indonesian virtual community. Conclusions. the development of social media in Indonesia and globally has increased very significantly. The existence of social media which was popular during the Covid-19 pandemic, which placed YouTube as the first media that was very popular with the highest number of users in the world.

In this day and age many people use Indonesian language which is not in accordance with the rules of language and with the advancement of information technology which rapidly raises many social media, one of which is Instagram which is loved by almost all Indonesian people. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain how much influence instagram has in fostering the development of Indonesian. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques. The results of the study explained that Instagram social media was also used by the Ministry of Education and Culture to develop Indonesian language through accounts @badanbahasakemndikbud which upload many Indonesian rules and grammar, including spelling of words, equivalent words, raw words, punctuation, word terms, proverbs, and so on. Not only official accounts from the government, some communities also contribute to developing the Indonesian language through Instagram, one of which is @sastraindonesia with upload contents that together discuss Indonesian rules and grammar. The impact of the instagram as one of the media used in the development of Indonesian language is that more and more people know about Indonesian rules and grammar because of the ease of access by Instagram communities.

 Technology is getting more advanced and developing, it is undeniable that social media can affect a person's life, as well as the lives of teenagers. Even for the community, especially teenagers whose daily lives use social media, it seems as if there is no day without using social media. This research is included in research that uses data collection techniques by filling out a questionnaire or questionnaire, using 10 respondents through the media Google Form and the WathsApp application. Knowing the influence of social media on youth morale in the Covid-19 situation is the aim of the research conducted in this article. The disease, which was first discovered in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, has spread in various regions of the world, the virus or disease is called Covid-19. Viruses that cause disruption of human activities, such as schools, offices, and others.  Teknologi semakin maju dan semakin berkembang, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa media sosial dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan seseorang, begitupun dengan kehidupan remaja. Bahkan bagi masyarakat, khususnya remaja yang kehidupan sehari-harinya menggunakan media sosial, seolah-olah tiada hari tanpa menggunakan media sosial. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian yang menggunakan teknik mengumpulkan data dengan mengisi angket atau kuisioner, dengan menggunakan 10 orang responden melalui media Google Form dan aplikasi WathsApp. Mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap moral remaja pada situasi Covid-19 merupakan tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan pada artikel ini. Penyakit yang pertama kali ditemukan pada bulan Desember 2019 di Wuhan, China telah menyebar di berbagai daerah di dunia, virus atau penyakit itu disebut Covid-19. Virus yang menyebabkan aktivitas manusia terganggu, seperti sekolah, kantor, dan lainnya.

Aim:  to  characterize  the  dissertations  and  theses  available  in  the Brazilian  Nursing  Association  (ABEn)  Catalog  of  Thesis  and  Dissertations  (CEPEn) regarding  the  path  taken  by  Brazilian  Nursing  in  teaching,  research,  management  and care practice. Method: a documentary and quantitative study, whose material were the Thesis and Dissertation Catalog, available on ABEn's website, from Volume XIX to XXXII. The   following   data   collection   indicators   were   used:   academic   level,   educational institution, year, place, object of study, methodological design and final implications and recommendations  for  Nursing.  Results:  8,720  abstracts  were  found, of  which  7,141 (81.89%)  composed  the  final  sample.  Of  these,  627  (8.78%)  were  associated  with teaching, 329 (4.61%) with management, 2,564 (35.91%) with care practice and 3,621 (50.71%)  with  research.  Conclusion:  it  was  observed  that  there  was a  substantial increase  in  the  quantity  and  quality  of  the  publications produced  by  Brazilian  nursing personnel in the last 20 years (1994-2014).

In aglobalized world, internet facilities and social media are becoming increasingly important and take a strategic role in most of human activities. One of them is in the education and learning sector. This qualitative research explored the role of a Facebook group to increase students' autonomy in learning writing. The experiment was conducted with qualitative methodology to 6 students as a sample. The process of data collection is done through the media Facebook group which was developed during the data collection through observation and interviews. The research lasted for 30(thirty) days in which researchers became the administrator and facilitator. From the process of collecting and analyzing the data assumed that Facebook group influenced the autonomy and promote independent of students learning in writing. Keywords: Facebook group ; Students autonomy ; Learning writing

Consolidation of the digital environment has become an irreversible global reality and, for the Colombian radio industry, it implies not only assuming a process of transformation in its actions, but, above all, continuous learning. Technological innovation imposes new forms of consumption whose logic corresponds to new systems for the production, distribution and commercialization of information, culture, science and entertainment. Object of study. Adaptation of the radio medium to the digital ecosystem of audiences invites us to focus the attention of researchers on the media’s use of web-radio, app–radio and social media; the relevance of sound semiotics compared to other components of the message on users’ screens; and the alterations suffered by the business model and productive routines of the radio. Methodology. This research took as its focus of study three Colombian radio stations and their informative stations—Caracol Radio, W Radio, Blu Radio, RCN Radio and La FM—through a mixed methodology. Quantitative instruments—numerical data to monitor activities on social platforms—and qualitative instruments—interpretation of messages and visual composition of the message—allow for the monitoring and analyzing of the performance of the radio medium in the digital environment, and the tactical approach of radio agents to delineate the strategies that promote the expansion, positioning and participation of radio in the Colombian media ecosystem. Results. Normalization of connectivity, ubiquity, timelessness and interactivity are, today, inherent values of the content broadcast by the radio industry, which needs to appropriate the tastes and interests of the audience through multi-device, multi-tasking and multi-user devices. Conclusion. Consumption actions of listeners: users are concentrated on the Smartphone screens, which provides a habit of listening and monitoring that forces the media to incorporate the format—and language—of video into their productive dynamics in order to attract and retain the attention of their audiences.

Instead of studying the virtual space using the Political Public Sphere concept, this study adopts the Literary Public Sphere point of view to examine and narrate the nature of a Cultural Public Sphere in social media. The researchers see interactivity in social media as an articulation of expression involving emotions and aesthetics (affective communication). Using the mixed method of Topic Modelling, Social Network Analysis (SNA), and Discourse Analysis in the case of the presence of the #JogjaOraDidol hashtag in Twitter, this study conclude that the Cultural Public Sphere has three dimensions of Public Sphere as introduced by Dahlgren (2005). The dynamic of inclusivity for anyone to express themselves and to engage in public issues discussions indicates that space is inclusive not only because of the technical support of the media but also because of the commitment of its users (structural dimension). The emergence of three virtual communities (fans, artists and activists) that develop a collective identity represents a subset of the real local population and demonstrates the ideal role taking of the representational aspect of Public Sphere. The interactional one is indicated by the discourse constructed using reflexive but straightforward symbols represent the interaction between users and the meaning that users do to the contents of the media used. Meanwhile, the real action show of the discourse develops virtually does not entrap the user in pseudo-empowerment. As an implication, using specific parameter, notably the hashtag identifies a social movement, policymakers can use data from social media in the agenda-setting process. Additionally, in the context of #JogjaOraDidol, soft data can also be used to evaluate the moratorium policy of granting the hotel's construction permit.

AbstrakCerita relief Jataka pada Candi Borobudur memiliki pesan moral yang penting untuk disampaikan sebagai sarana pendidikan budi pekerti, namun perbedaan zaman menjadi masalah yang menyebabkan cerita relief Jataka tidak dapat dibaca sehingga sulit dimengerti oleh para remaja 16-18 tahun sehingga perlu dilakukan adaptasi cerita ke media yang dapat dimengerti dengan remaja masa kini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menyampaikan pesan cerita relief Jataka dengan Bahasa Rupa dan merancang kembali cerita tersebut ke dalam animasi 3600 agar mudah dipahami remaja 16-18 tahun. Metode penelitian ini berupa kualitatif studi kasus relief Jataka Candi Borobudur yang dimulai dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi, studi literatur, wawancara dan kuisioner. Dari hasil pengumpulan data kisah burung pelatuk dan seekor singa pada relief yang akan adaptasikan, hasil kuisioner menunjukan bahwa remaja usia 16-18 tahun aktif mengakses media sosial youtube melalui smartphone selama kurang dari sejam setiap harinya, selain itu mereka juga tertarik dengan animasi 3D dan gaya visual lowpoly. Hasil ini akan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam perancagan animasi 360o. Hasil pengujian animasi 3600 pada situs youtube menunjukkan bahwa media ini dapat membantu menyampaikan cerita relief Jataka dan pesan yang terkandung di dalamnya kepada remaja usia 16-18 tahun. Kata Kunci: animasi 3600, candi Borobudur, relief jataka, remaja  AbstractThe Jataka relief story at Borobudur Temple has an important moral message to convey as a means of character education, but the age difference is a problem that causes Jataka relief stories to be unreadable so that it is difficult for teenagers 16-18 years to understand so that stories need to be adapted to the media understandable with today's teenagers. This study aims to understand and convey the message of Jataka relief stories with Bahasa Rupa and redesign the story into 3600 animation to be easily understood by adolescents 16-18 years old. This research uses a qualitative case study of Jataka Borobudur temple relief`s which begins with data collection through observation, literature study, interviews and questionnaires. The results relief story of woodpecker and a lion that will be adapted, the results from questionnaires show that teens aged 16-18 years actively access youtube social media via smartphones for less than an hour each day, besides they are also interested in 3D animation and lowpoly visual style. These results will be used as a reference in the 3600 animation modeling. The results show that animation 3600 can help convey Jataka relief stories and messages contained therein to adolescents aged 16-18 years. Keywords: 360o animation, Borobudur temple, Jataka relief, teenagers
