The aim of this study is to compare two models of service quality, technical/functional quality and SERVQUAL in university library services to find out the best library service model which pleases students most. Two proposed models were tested with 347 students at the Faculty of Economics, University of Technology, and University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City. The results show that SERVQUAL is better than the technical/functional quality model. Therefore, SERVQUAL is chosen to evaluate the quality of library services. The results also show that SERVQUAL consists of only two components: caring service and tangibles, in which caring service has a stronger effect on students’ satisfaction.

Objective: The current study examines (a) whether ADHD among college students is associated with differences in perceptions of quality of life (QoL); (b) the moderating roles of comorbidity, drug use, psychopharmacological treatment, and psychosocial treatment; and (c) the total impact of these variables on QoL. Method: Participants were college students with and without ADHD ( N = 372) in a longitudinal study. Results: College students with ADHD were more likely to assert negative global QoL evaluations relative to non-ADHD peers. The relationship between ADHD and QoL was not altered as a function of medication treatment, comorbid psychopathology, psychosocial treatment, or drug use. Conclusion: College students with ADHD behave similarly to other adults with ADHD in that they make lower subjective global evaluations of their QoL relative to their non-ADHD agemates. Other factors associated with ADHD and QoL do not appear to moderate this relationship.

after The aim of this study was to identify the quality and effectiveness of the services provided by the library using Servqual Method, which covered several variables, namely: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The reached population were UNDIKSHA students who were already members of the library, this study was designed as quantitative evaluative research which analyzed the quality and effectiveness of the services provided by the library by analyzing the role of each factor based on Servqual Method. Data were collected using questionnaire with Likert Scale. The data obtained were analyzed in a descriptive quantitative way using Glikman’s Quadrant Analysis. The impact of this research for Undiksha Library is able to provide information about the quality and effectiveness of existing service programs and can be used as input to develop strategies for developing the Undiksha library services. The results showed the quality of each variable is as follows: overall the result of quality measurement service in Undiksha library based on servqual variable is in good quality, but still need improvement in tangible variable especially in terms of physical facility and library collection, reliability variable still need improvement on indicator accuracy of information. Responsiveness Variable still need improvement especially in terms of hospitality librarian, Assurance Variables still need improvement in indicator of knowledge and skill of librarian. Level of effectiveness of library service of University of Education Ganesha, Based on the direction of score T of indicator in each variable; tangible variable show effective category, variable of reliability less effective, responsiveness variable show effective, anssurance vriabel are effective and emphaty variables show less effective.

AbstractOne does not read far or engage in a discussion about the complexity of the modern world without sensing an evolutionary vision which reflects the thought of Teilhard de Chardin. College students who are introduced to the Teilhardian vision respond in positive and creative ways. Teaching such a course reveals insights into young people's reaction to the present and future implications of a high-tech society. In an age of increasing control over the forces of nature by human-kind, crucial questions emerge. Two concerns attract students to Teilhard: fear of the future in terms of the direction and quality of human life; and an interest in the relationship between religion and science, which indicates substantive attitudes of a younger generation toward faith in God. Whether there is agreement with Teilhard is not the question, but the fact that he has pressed us to face the issues.

Family environment appears to be an important determinant of friendship quality. Despite this apparent link, few studies have explored how family environment relates to friendship, especially among college students. The present study examined the relationship between family environment and best friendships, by administering the Family Environment Scale (FES) and the Acquaintance Description Form—Revised (ADF-F2) to 408 college students. Family environment was a better predictor of friendship quality for female college students than for male college students. For the women, a total of 13% of the FES and ADF-F2 correlations were significant at the p < .01 level. The best predictors of friendship quality for the women were the FES active recreational and intellectual—cultural dimensions. Gender differences were also evident in students' perceptions of their families' environments and their views of the quality of their best friendships. Implications of the present study for college adjustment and retention are discussed.

The theories of social capital and Rosenberg's self-esteem scale were used to measure the campus life satisfaction of college students, this paper made an empirical analysis on the WeChat media use of 1000 college students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China (M=18.81 years old, SD=0.96) of a University in Guangdong province, and discussed the relationship among college students' social media use intensity, campus life satisfaction and social capital. The study found that there was a significant positive correlation between WeChat use intensity of college students and social capital, that the intensity of WeChat use had a direct effect on college students' satisfaction with campus life, and that self-esteem had a moderating effect between WeChat use intensity and social capital.

This study attempts to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy) and students’ satisfaction. Furthermore, this study is also examining critical factors in service quality dimensions (tangibility, responsiveness, reliability, assurance and empathy) that contribute most to the satisfaction of the students. The study employed both purposive and stratified sampling technique by using a set of questionnaires that was distributed to 120 college students in three of the colleges (Balkumari College, Saptagandaki Campus and Birendra Multiple Campus) in Chitwan. However the study found that there is a positive significant relationship between service quality dimensions and students’ satisfaction. The study also found that Empathy has significant relationship with student’s satisfaction in the students’ perception of service quality rendered by their colleges. Finally the study concludes that assessing level of satisfaction and continuous improvements of the quality of services that colleges provide to their students will help management and other staff of these colleges to reach organizational success.
