The curriculum in Philippines different with the curriculum in Indonesia. This make the learning process and the problems faced by students in Indonesia and Philippines different. One of the problems experienced by students is caused by the lack of variation in strategies in the teaching and learning process. The instructional model used by the teacher is to upgrade student learning outcomes, especially on high-level cognitive, in this research especially problem solving abilities. Instructional method used by researchers is Problem Based Learning (PBL) with a pretest posttest design. Data of this research obtained quantitatively and using the mean before and after the test. This study used control class and experimental class on material cells to organism. The results show that the experimental class has a higher average value of 88.6 compared to the control class, 81.9. These results indicate that PBL successfully increases learning activities and students can follow the learning model using PBL.

The spread of the Corona virus has had a significant impact on the world of education. The policy taken by many countries, including Indonesia, is to close all educational activities. This makes the government and related institutions have to present an alternative learning process. Many factors affect student learning outcomes coupled with changes in learning conditions due to the Corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the impacts and constraints of the Covid-19 outbreak on teaching and learning activities, especially in Geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur. Data collection was carried out using the pretest - posttest method of students' abilities before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by quantitative methods using paired sample t-test to test the difference in the effect of the two treatments on the interrelated sample groups. The results of the analysis indicate that there is a difference in the average Geography learning outcomes of 11th grade of social science students before and after the outbreak of the corona virus. Information was obtained that the average value of student learning outcomes during the face-to-face learning process was 86.27, better than the average value when the learning process was carried out online which was 75.73. This study aims to determine the increase in activity and student learning outcomes in dance subjects through the Peer Tutor Method for students of SDN 05 Kota Bengkulu. The research was conducted in February 2019. The subjects in this study were class Va. The methods used in collecting data are observation, interview and documentation. This research is a classroom action research using 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting and evaluating. The instruments used were observation sheets, research sheets, questionnaire, interview guidelines and field notes. The results showed that there was an increase in activity and student learning outcomes in class Va SDN 05 Bengkulu City. The increase in students can be seen from the increase in the quality of the learning process as shown by the increase in learning outcomes, enthusiasm and activeness of students when participating in learning. The improvement of the learning process is seen from an increase in the score and the average learning outcomes before and after the action is taken. The average value before the action was 46.18. In the first cycle the average increased to 65.78 and in the second cycle it increased to 82.65. The average increase has increased by 36.47 and fulfills the minimum passing grade (KKM) 75. From the results of this study, it is known that through the sebay tutor method, the activity and learning outcomes of SDN 05 Bengkulu City students in class Va. Keywords: Activities, Dance Learning Outcomes, Peer Tutors

ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the problem of the low learning outcomes of students of Bima City Middle School 6. To overcome this problem, research was conducted using the Open-ended approach. This study examines the problem of improving student learning outcomes. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, in which each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative analysis is done by using student learning outcomes data. Qualitative analysis is done using the results of the observation sheet during the teaching and learning process. From the results of data processing, the percentage of learning completeness in the first cycle was 83% with an average value of 82.08, while the percentage of learning completeness in the second cycle was 92% with an average value of 86.67. The average score of student learning activities in cycles I and II was 3.46 and 3.89 with the active category. The results showed that students were more active and motivated in the teaching and learning process and there was an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle using the Open-ended approach. The background of this study is the teaching and learning process in the classroom VB SDN 002 Bagan Besar, Dumai in social studies that are still dominated by teachers so that students become passive blindly accept the material provided by the teacher and the learning outcomes are not satisfactory with an average value below KKM. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the method of discussion, both individually and classically on learning outcomes in the VB class IPS Subjects in SDN 002 Bagan Besa Kecamatan Bukit Kapur, Dumai. The study was conducted for 32 students consisting of 20 men and 12 women. Data were collected through observation by the observer uses observation sheets to the data the method of discussion, and through postes unutuk learning outcomes data. The results showed that the method of discussion individually significant influence on student learning outcomes. Where 28 people declared complete their study of 32 students. Seen in the classical, was the method of discussion is also a significant influence, namely the classical completeness gain of 87.53%, with an average score 75.31. This means that the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes either individually or classical.Keywords: methods of discussion, social studies learning outcomes

<p><em>The science learning process carried out by the teacher is still conventional which tends to make students feel bored and does not provide opportunities for students to be active in learning so that there are still many students who have difficulty following the learning process which results in low student learning outcomes. This problem is also experienced by students at SD Negeri Ngrajek 1. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning learning model for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Ngrajek 1. The research form is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on the percentage of student learning outcomes, the average value in each cycle can be obtained, namely in the first cycle there was an increase in the average value of 8.75, namely the initial average value of 66.25 increased to 75. Classical student learning outcomes are still classified as moderate. with an average acquisition of 79 in the 70-79 interval in the medium category. In the second cycle the average score of students increased by 12.5, which was originally an average of 66.5 students in the second cycle the average value was 79 in the medium category. In cycle III the average score of students also increased by 14.5, which was originally 66.5 students on average in cycle III the average value was 81. Classical student learning outcomes were in the interval 80-89 in the high category. This means that learning through the Problem Based Learning method can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Ngrajek 1.</em></p>

 This study is a class action based on the results of observations in SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam, met some of the symptoms or phenomena in the learning process, among others: of the 18 students, only 10 people, which totaled completeness criteria minimal set school namely 65, while the other students have not reached the kkm, teaching and learning process education citizenship (civics) does not stimulate students to engage actively follow the lessons, it is apparent from the activities of children busy with activities respectively, learning only emphasizes the terms of cognitive less engaging students, so that students are less self-contained, so the lack of student learning outcomes, especially on the subjects of civics. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the low student learning outcomes. To improve student learning outcomes, this research used non-example of cooperative learning example in citizenship education lessons class III SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The formulation of the problem in this research are: does the implementation of cooperative learning mode non-examples examples can improve learning outcomes civics lesson in third grade students of SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. This research was carried out in three cycles and each cycle is done in one meeting. In order to study this class action work well without barriers obstructing the smooth running of the study, researchers compiled stages are passed in classroom action research, namely: 1) planning/ preparatory actions, 2) implementation of the action, 3) observation and reflection. After the implementation of cooperative learning tife examples non-examples, it is known the first cycle student learning outcomes at an average value of 67.2. Then, after reflection and improvement against the weaknesses of learning. Unknown at the second cycle of the average value of student learning outcomes achieved on the average value of 75.6, and the third cycle, student learning outcomes also meninkat with the average achieved in the classical style was 80.8 in both categories. This means that all students have reached kkm is set so that it indicates the success of the study. Due to the success indicator set has exceeded 75%.

Researchers have a goal to describe how the analysis of student worksheets (LKPD) based on problem based learning (PBL) on student learning outcomes. The results of the research are that (1.) The use of LKPD based on Problem Based Learning as teaching materials has a positive effect of 80% in improving student learning outcomes. (2.) Problem Based Learning-based worksheets are appropriate to be used as learning materials in schools, because the use of Problem Based Learning-based worksheets in the teaching and learning process can help students understand learning so that the success of the teaching and learning process will be achieved. (3.) The advantages of LKPD based on Problem Based Learning as teaching materials can be said to be superior in that application, learning becomes more effective and efficient, making the learning process more interesting and can improve the quality of learning well.

The purposes of this research are to increase the students asking activity and student learning outcomes in class V of MI Yusuf Abdussatar Kediri, totaling 23 people. Learning to apply the process skills approach, teaches students to discover and develop the facts by themselves. the concept of learning presenting, students' courage in ideas, opinions and questions, effort, activity and creativity in the learning process and the level of student attitudes that dominate in the learning process. This learning activity helps students to be more active in asking.This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, consisting of the action planning stage, the stage of implementation of the action, observation, and the stage of evaluation and reflection. Students and teacher activity data derived from observations and interviews for the assessment process, while data on student learning outcomes obtained through tests given at the end of each cycle. Indicators of success of this study extend from the average value grade students can reach the KKM 65 and with a percentage of 85%. The results showed that the average value of students in cycle I and II increased from 72.70 into 82.43 with the difference in value of 9.73. While the percentage of students who earn a minimum value standard upward cycle I and II also increased from 73.91% to 86.95% by a margin of 13:04%. This means that action research is in compliance indicators to be achieved. The results showed that the application process can increase the skill of asking activity and science learning outcomes in science teaching class V.

Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups.Keywords: Learning, discussion AbstrakProses belajar mengajar yang baik dapat menciptakan situasi yang mmemungkinkan anak belajar, sehingga merupakan titik awal keberhasilan pengajaran. Rendahnya mutu pendidikan tergantung pada pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar yang dapat diartikan kurang efektifnya proses belajar mengajar, penyebabnya: (1) Rendahnya aktifitas belajar,  (2) Sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Kasus pada SMP Negeri % Kota Solok rendahnya aktifitas belajar siswa diduga berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan pengamatanpada  kelas VIII A yang termasuk kelas unggul belum mencapai ketuntasan yang di inginkan, sedangkan kelas yang paling sedikit ketuntasannya adalah kelas VIII B yaitu sebanyak 33,33 % dengan kriterian KKM 65. Melihat kenyataan tersebut, guru dituntut untuk dapat memotivasi siswa dan menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa. Karena itu, untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa, penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui metode diskusi dalam kelompok kecil. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, diskusi

This study aims to increase student learning outcomes on mathematics subjects in the material measuring angles with standard units by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model at SDN 106788 PURWODADI, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were students of class IV-B, which amounted to 29 students consisting of 11 male students and 18 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data from the results of this study were obtained from tests of student learning outcomes and observations.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of material students measuring angles with simple aircraft standard units by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model. This can be seen from improving student learning outcomes every cycle. In the pre-test of student learning outcomes carried out before the application of learning there were 4 students (32%) completed learning while 17 students (68%) had not yet finished with a grade point average of 50.93. In cycle 1 completeness of student learning outcomes there were 17 students (72%) completed in 8 students (28%) not yet completed with an average value of 70.4. The results of teacher observation amounted to 67.27% with a good category while the observations of students amounted to 64% with sufficient categories. Student learning outcomes have increased to 23 students (92%) completed 2 students (8%) have not been completed while the average value of 86.4. Teacher observation results have increased by 92.72% with very good categories while student observations amounted to 92% with very good categories. By looking at the percentage of learning outcomes and observations it can be concluded that the Application of Problem Based Learning Learning Models can improve student learning outcomes.
