Kejenuhan merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya stres kerja. Salah satu pekerjaan yang berisiko mengalami stres kerja adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Sederajat karena memiliki tanggungjawab yang lebih besar dan rutinitas kerja monoton. Stres kerja disebabkan oleh faktor individu yang meliputi jenis kelamin, usia dan masa kerja serta kejenuhan sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor individu dan kejenuhan dengan stres kerja pada guru Sekolah Dasar Sederajat di Kecamatan Wuluhan, Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 339 guru dengan sampel sebanyak 116 guru. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang didapatkan melalui angket online dengan menggunakan google form. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Boredom Proneness Scale (BPS) untuk mengetahui kejenuhan dan Occupational Stress Inventory Revised (OSI-R) untuk mengetahui stres kerja. Analisis data bivariat dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin (р-value=0,585) dan masa kerja (р-value=0,203) tidak memiliki hubungan dengan stres kerja. Terdapat hubungan antara usia (р-value=0,049) dengan stres kerja dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara kejenuhan (р-value = 0,602) dengan stres kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat responden yang mengalami kejenuhan dan stres kerja berat. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada kepala sekolah adalah untuk melakukan evaluasi berupa sharing terkait hambatan yang dirasakan guru dan melakukan pelatihan untuk menunjang kompetensi yang dimiliki.

Background : An occupation with a high risk of work fatigue is an occupation in textile industry. The involvement of women in the textile industry sector in Indonesia is dominant. Women labors who run work on domestic and public sector will be less inclined a work fatigue. Subjective fatigue is the problem faced by women workers at production division weaving loom unit of  PT. X. Purpose : This study aimed to determine occupational stress correlation with subjective fatigue in weaving loom unit PT. X. Methods : Type of this observational analytic study was using a cross sectional design. The number of research subject were 95 people. An occupational stress is independent variable. The dependent variable is a subjective fatigue. Occupational stress measurement was using job stress indicator questionnaire. Subjective fatigue measurement was using Subjective Self Rating Test questionnaires. Chi square test used as significance test. All test used 95% confidence interval and significance level of p=0,05. Result : Chi square test result showed that occupational stress has significant association with subjective fatigue. Conclusion : An occupational stress has a positive correlation with subjective fatigue women workers in weaving loom unit PT. X.

Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre estresse e resiliência no trabalho em servidores públicos federais de uma instituição de ensino do Sul do Brasil. Método: Estudo transversal, realizado em 2018, com 526 servidores públicos federais de uma universidade do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Utilizou-se questionário composto por variáveis sociodemográficas, laborais, hábitos e de saúde; e a Job Stress Scale e Resilience at Work Scale 20 - Brasil. Empregou-se análise estatística descritiva e multivariada. Para as associações, utilizaram-se os testes Qui-Quadrado de Pearson e Exato de Fisher, quando p<0,05, e a Regressão de Poisson. Foram seguidos os preceitos éticos da Resolução 466/2012. Resultados: Os servidores públicos apresentaram-se em trabalho ativo (23,5%) e com médio nível de resiliência (38,8%). Os servidores, em alta exigência (51%) e em trabalho ativo (26%), possuem prevalências mais elevadas para o baixo nível de resiliência no trabalho. Conclusão: Estar exposto a elevado estresse ocupacional pode influenciar negativamente no nível de resiliência do trabalhador.Descritores: Estresse ocupacional; Resiliência; Trabalho; Saúde do trabalhador; Enfermagem. Stress and resilience at work on federal public serversObjective: To analyze the relation between stress and resilience at work in federal civil servants of an educational institution in the south of Brazil. <p>The emergency department in a hospital tends to pose a high stress level. This is due to the conditions, i.e., life-threatening condition of patients that often trigger the stress on the nurses. The nurses are required to act immediately and to possess specific skills to provide accurate treatment to the patients. Such a condition signifies the major role of nurses in a hospital. It also demands improvement in the performances of the nurses to conceptualize quality health services. Occupational stress is a term used to refer to depression or emotion, being irritable towards the situation of the workplace, and it is signified by both mental and physical condition of a person. This inevitably affects one’s health as and the spiritual condition. Excessive workload is among the factors causing occupational stress. This study aims at exploring the correlation between workload and occupational stress of nurses in the emergency department of Regional Public Hospital RSUD. Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang. The cross-sectional study involved 40 respondents selected using a <em>total sampling </em>method. The data were analyzed using the Pearson chi-square correlation. It is revealed that the p-value 0.000 is lower than α 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and signifying that workload correlates with the occupational stress of the nurses in the research site. </p>

Introduction: As the other worker, librarian could be got occupational stress because of their duties. However, the duties of librarians and library staff seem trivial and monotonous to the general public. Precisely because it looks trivial and monotonous, research needs to be done related to work stress experienced by librarians and library staff.  Aim of this study were to assessed the work stress experienced by librarians and library staff also analyze work stress related factors among librarians and library staff. Methods: In this observational analytic research that has cross sectional designed, occupational stress level was measured by HSE questionnaire and role conflict, carrier development and responsibility to person in organization were calculated by questionnaire in Manpower Minister Decree number 5 2018. Results: Most of the librarian and library staff experienced moderate level of occupational stress. Analysis of chi-square results proved that role conflicts and carrier development significantly related to occupational stress that was experienced by librarian and library staff in Airlangga University. On the other hand, the other variables of socio-demographic and responsibility to person in organization have no significant relationship. Conclusion: Almost all levels of work stress on librarians and library staff are middle to high level with factors related to role conflict and career development.Keywords: Indonesia, librarian, occupational stress, university

Background and Aim: The phenomenon of stress is one of the fundamental problems in the last few decades following the changes and developments of societies and the advent of modern life that has put people at risk. The aim of this study was to determine the level of occupational stress and its related factors in female staff of Kashan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive study and the sample size was all female employees (132 persons) working in faculties and departments of Kashan University of Medical Sciences in 2016. The UK HSE occupational stress questionnaire was used to measure occupational stress. Data were imported into SPSS16 software and analyzed using Chi-square and Fisher exact test.  Findings: Only two variables showed a significant statistical relationship with job stress; hours of work and the workplace (P-value <0.05), but there was no significant statistical relationship between job shift, education level and employment status (P-value> 0.05). Conclusion: The high level of occupational stress among employees of the deputies indicate the importance of reducing the working hours of the staff to the standard working hours of other countries, as well as the periodic shift of staff from the deputies to the faculties.

Profesi keperawatan sekarang ini dituntut agar mampu tingkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan dan bisa memberikan pelayanan kesehatan selama 24 jam. Dalam mewujudkannya rumah sakit menerapkan sistem kerja shift.Sistem kerja shift memiliki dampak bagi kesehatan fisik dan psikis.Tuntutan kerja yang tinggi bagi profesi perawat khususnya perawat Isntalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) dengan etos kerja yang berpacu pada waktudalam menangani kasus-kasus kegawatdaruratan medis. Hal ini bisa mengakibatkan terjadinya stres kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat gambaran tingkat stres kerja perawat dengan kerja shift di ruang IGD RSUD Karangasem. Penelitian ini bersifat  deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional yang dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2016 hingga September 2017. Sampel dipilih menggunakan total sampling yaitu libatkan seluruh perawat dengan kerja shift di ruang IGD RSUD Karangasem yang berjumlah 31 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara langsung menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner OSI-RTM (Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised Edition). Penelitian ini tunjukkan rata-rata usia responden 28,5 tahun dengan usia maksisum 45 tahun dan usia minimum 22 tahun. 51,6% sampel adalah laki-laki, 61,3% sampel sudah menikah dan 48,4% bekerja selama 6 bulan-3 tahun.  87,1% perawat IGD RSUD Karangasem mengalami tingkat stres kerja sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran tingkat stres kerja perawat IGD RSUD Karangasem yaitu mayoritas mengalami tingkat stres kerja sedang dengan tingkat stres kerja responden berdasarkan karakteristiknya yaitu terdistribusi merata laki-laki dan perempuan, responden belum menikah alami tingkat stres kerja sedang yang lebih tinggi dan mayoritas responden masa kerja 6 bulan – 3 tahun yang mengalami stres kerja sedang. Purpose The aims of this study were to characterize hearing symptoms, habits, and sound pressure levels (SPLs) of personal audio system (PAS) used by young adults; estimate the risk of developing hearing loss and assess whether instructions given to users led to behavioral changes; and propose recommendations for PAS users. Method A cross-sectional study was performed in 50 subjects with normal hearing. Procedures included questionnaire and measurement of PAS SPLs (real ear and manikin) through the users' own headphones and devices while they listened to four songs. After 1 year, 30 subjects answered questions about their usage habits. For the statistical analysis, one-way analysis of variance, Tukey's post hoc test, Lin and Spearman coefficients, the chi-square test, and logistic regression were used. Results Most subjects listened to music every day, usually in noisy environments. Sixty percent of the subjects reported hearing symptoms after using a PAS. Substantial variability in the equivalent music listening level (Leq) was noted ( M = 84.7 dBA; min = 65.1 dBA, max = 97.5 dBA). A significant difference was found only in the 4-kHz band when comparing the real-ear and manikin techniques. Based on the Leq, 38% of the individuals exceeded the maximum daily time allowance. Comparison of the subjects according to the maximum allowed daily exposure time revealed a higher number of hearing complaints from people with greater exposure. After 1 year, 43% of the subjects reduced their usage time, and 70% reduced the volume. A volume not exceeding 80% was recommended, and at this volume, the maximum usage time should be 160 min. Conclusions The habit of listening to music at high intensities on a daily basis seems to cause hearing symptoms, even in individuals with normal hearing. The real-ear and manikin techniques produced similar results. Providing instructions on this topic combined with measuring PAS SPLs may be an appropriate strategy for raising the awareness of people who are at risk. Introduction: The implementation of Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) remains a challenge. An exploratory study highlighted two tendencies among practitioners of TPE, which could hamper this implementation: an oscillation between identities (as caregivers versus as educators) and an inclination towards subjective psychological health objectives. Objectives: To verify whether these tendencies can be observed among an informed audience in TPE. Next, to explore the variables associated with one or other of these tendencies. Method: A quantitative cross-sectional survey by a self-administered questionnaire was carried out among 90 French-speaking healthcare professionals. Statistical analyses (chi-square, logistic regression) were then conducted. Results: Sixty percent of respondents displayed identity oscillation, which was found to be linked to task oscillation, patient curability, scepticism towards medicine and practising in France. Fifty-six percent pursued subjective psychological health objectives, which was found to be associated with health behaviour objectives and a locus of power in the healthcare relationship distinct from those seen in the pre-existing health models (biomedical, global). This tendency seems to constitute an alternative model of TPE. Discussion & conclusion: Identity oscillation and subjective psychological health objectives can be both observed. This study stresses the need to deliberate on the form(s) of TPE that is/are desired.

Introduction: Adolescent are at high risk of unwanted pragnency, including abortion, STIs, HIV/AIDS. Risky sexual behavior is one of the entrance transmissions of unwanted pregnancy. Such behavior can be influenced by various factors, beyond and within the individual factors. Teens need the support and motivation in deciding not to do risky sexual behavior. The purpose of this study was to investigate the determinants of adolescent behavior in the prevention of unwanted pregnancy.Methods: This research used cross-sectional design. The populations were students of senior high school in District Sintang. The were 123 respondents chosen by cluster sampling technique for this study. All data were collected using questionnaires and then analysed using bivariate (chi square) and multivariate analysis (logistic regression).Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents did not have good knowledge about the prevention of unwanted pregnancy. Related variable is the level of parental education (p=0.001), the support of parents/guardians (p=0.009), support teachers (p=0.005), peer support (p=0.039), residency (p=0.009), a pastime activity (p=0.000), knowledge of adolescents about reproductive health (p=0.016), perception ability of adolescents (p=0.006) and attitude of adolescents (p=0.049). Adolescent self-perception abilities are variables that most influence on the behavior of adolescents in the prevention of unwanted pregnancy.Conclusions: Efforts to improve reproductive health programs should be early and adolescent have responsibilities as well as healthy behaviors.

WHO telah menetapkan Indonesia sebagai negara dengan jumlah perokok terbesar ketiga. Ada tiga zat kimia yang paling sangat berbahaya, yaitu tar, nikotin, karbon monoksida yang terkandung dalam rokok. Hasil penelitian di Inggris menunjukkan kepada kita bahwa kurang lebih 50% perokok yang merokok sejak remaja mengalami kematian akibat penyakit yang berhubungan dengan kebiasaan merokok mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh asap rokok dengan proses kaskade clotting time. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel populasi laki-laki di Fakultas Kedokteran di UMSU yang diwawancara untuk mengetahui bahwa mereka merokok atau tidak, setelah itu, sampel diperiksa clotting time dan bleeding time. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan p = 0,000 bahwa ada hubungan merokok dengan clotting time dan bleeding time pada perokok berat dan sedang. Pada perokok berat dan moderat terdapat hubungan bermakna antara penurunan bleeding time dan peningkatan clotting time dengan merokok. Tidak ada hubungan antara clotting time dan merokok pada perokok ringan.
