Dynamics of students’ physical development indicators in the course of Nordic walking classes

We discuss the use of Nordic walking as a health technology in physical education classes at the university. Students who have abnormalities in their health and are medically assigned to special and preparatory medical groups were engaged in Nordic walking during the fall semester. Before the start of classes, students’ level of physical development was determined using functional diagnostics methods based on the following indicators: Brock index, Quetelet index, body mass index, Stange test, Genchi test, Romberg test. At the end of the semester, these tests were repeated. Analysis of the results obtained using mathematical statistics methods revealed positive dynamics of changes in the indicators above. The data obtained testified that Nordic walking classes, used in training sessions with students in the disciplines “Physical Education and Sports” for the 1st year and “Elective Courses in physical Education and Sports” for the 2nd year, have a positive effect on the level of physical development. These data confirm the data of scientific literature about the health-improving effect of Nordic walking and the possibility of its use in educational institutions of higher professional education.

The changes in connection with the outbreak of the pandemic have made their own adjustments to the educational process, almost simultaneously changing the usual way of full-time education at all levels, from school to higher professional education. The methodology of multiparametric selection of tools for ensuring the necessary quality of training, implemented on the principles of System of Systems, allowing the University to choose the composition and configuration of these tools, and taking into account the fuzziness of the source data, is proposed. Description of IM as fuzzy vectors and a method of evaluating misalignments can be the basis for multi-parameter methods of their choice, providing automated selection of the base set support the educational process. Thus, we can say that the remote format of work, which has entered all levels of the educational environment, is fixed there, and can be adjusted and developed – adapted to the specific conditions of educational institutions.

The actual problems of municipal law in Russia are considered taking into account the peculiarities of master's degree training at the university, which provides for both the presence of a system of students with certain knowledge in the field of jurisprudence, including the main institutions of municipal law, and their significant focus on research work. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the main amendments and additions to the current legislation on local self-government, discussions that accompany the improvement of legislation and law enforcement practice. The following paper discusses the actual task of modern technical specialist training: getting him/her ready to communicate professionally in a foreign language. Practice requests are naturally reflected in the development of curricula and programs of higher professional education. The author demonstrates the urgency of the task in connection with the constantly changing foreign language professional communication, especially computer-mediated part of it. The author identifies two main approaches to the organization of studies at the university: changing the structure, content, methods of the course Foreign Language and the development of new courses of the curriculum. Within the framework of the second approach, the process of designing an educational and methodical complex for a professional communication course on the basis of a process approach is considered in some detail. The paper emphasizes the importance of using professional skills of prospective specialists to increase the effectiveness of the educational process, in particular, the development of copyright audio and video materials. The workshop for audio engineers, developed by the author of the paper, is successfully used in the educational process of Samara State Institute of Culture.

Further vocational education is one of the priorities of Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Nowadays professional retraining is of special interest for those who wish to get further vocational education. The article examines the relevance of the Translator in the Field of Professional Communication programme in the context of further vocational education at the present stage in a classical university setting. The authors describe the experience of implementing the above-mentioned programme at Nizhnevartovsk State University. The programme provides an opportunity for getting additional qualifications that allow for a combination of professional knowledge and translation competences in the area of professional interest. The authors emphasize the importance of the programme aimed at the university self-presentation at the regional level. The programme is designed for students with higher professional education and university students of non-linguistic specialties. The article sets out the legal basis on which the programme was developed, presents the main provisions of the program, the content and form of, the technology and teaching methods used, as well as the planned results of the programme. The article stresses that in accordance with the objectives of the programme and FSES 3++, students should develop universal, general professional and vocational competencies, which allow graduates to implement a new type of professional activity in the field of translation. The factors conditioned viability and demand for this professional retraining programme are pointed out. In conclusion the authors underline the students realization of a foreign language command pragmatic value while pursuing the programme.

The paper discusses the problem of formation and development of future social workers’ tolerance in the process of higher professional education. The author presents the factors that hinder the development of tolerance. The research revealed the leading role of education in the formation of tolerance and proved the necessity of developing tolerance in future social workers. Empirically the differences in the formation of tolerance as personality traits of students majoring in “Social Work” and students from non-humanitarian faculties (e.g. the Faculty of Physics) were revealed. The author identified the lack of positive linear dynamics of formation of tolerance as personality traits of future social workers in the learning process at the University. The paper describes the specifics of internalizing tolerance of future social workers in the process of higher education.

The rhythm and tempo of music has a beneficial impact on a person's desire to perform in unison movements. They can calm or excite the human nervous system and have a beneficial effect on the overall physical condition of the person. Regular fitness classes help to improve the mental and physical performance of students. Types and forms of fitness aerobics allow you to use an individual approach when choosing tools and methods in physical education lessons. In our opinion, the motor mode during fitness classes should correlate with the psychological and emotional state of the participants, as well as with their overall level of physical development. As a result of regular fitness classes in physical education classes, students improve the functioning of the musculoskeletal system and improve the development of skeletal muscles. The introduction of teaching in higher educational institutions of the training course "Valeology" in our opinion will allow students to gain important knowledge they need throughout their lives.
